Great place to stay for people on a budget. Close to everything and nice staff.
No hot water and breakfast could have been better quality food but for the price it was still good.
I have stayed here many times. It is a nice laid back place and the common area is good with a beautiful view and usually blues music playing in the background. The wifi is good and the showers always hot. The price you are paying is great for the location. The staff are friendly. For me most of the important things are spot on.
The bedding/towels are always clean and fresh but otherwise the standard of cleanliness is a bit low; the level of dirt/mould in/on some of the toilets and showers is quite off putting. I quite like the laid back atmosphere but it's often difficult to find staff (they might have popped out or dozed off) and when you do get someone they sometimes don't know about your booking or the agreed price.
When I arrived, I could not get into the room because the staff did not find the room key. Staff does not speak English, so I had to communicate with the owner by phone. The room is dirty, the toilet paper in the toilet missing, noisy at night. Breakfast at the hostel is after 9:00 - it is very late for the people who come here to enjoy the sea. Fortunately I was there only one night. In Fethiye you can find much better accommodation for a similar price, so I do not recommend this hostel to anyone.
The worker ans owner was so rude.
The people there are nice and uncomplicated, you can have whatever you need and they help you as much as they can. Its a very simple pension with everything you need, and the breakfast on the roofterrace with the view over Fethiyes harbor is incredible.
Location and breakfast terrace view
The cleanliness in the communal areas was bad. The room itself looked ok for cleanliness but I'm not sure that the sheets had been washed, there were no towels provided, no bathroom light and the bed was very hard. To be fair though it was very cheap and the young man looking after it was pleasant enough but he appeared to be completely on his own. We made the best of it as an overnight stay.
Location provided a great view across the bay and town and was within easy walking distance of the town center, although it would not be suitable for anyone with heavy luggage or difficulty with stairs. Breakfast was good but typically eastern European with lots of tomato, cucumber and olives. Good clean bedding, comfortable.
The bathroom was in need of a good clean (I did this myself before I used it) as were the walls in just about every part of the Hotel. The food preparation area (kitchen - I happened to get a look) was a mess and made me wander about the healthiness of the food. The cleaner(s) in the place need a few lessons on how to clean.
We liked the location and the view The breakfast was also good
Very uncomfortable beds Dirty top deck Dirty room, bathroom Bedding did not smell fresh
I had fond memories of the Ideal pension from nine years before so we booked to stay there before and after our beforelunch four day boat trip. The effect that getting into the guide books has had on this place is so sad. The only nice part of the stay was the breakfast on the terrace. It use to be such a lovely place to stay with a wonderful relaxed vibe. Now you feel like a bother and that you are under a chauvinists roof.
The reception is on the top floor so you lug your bags up three flights of stairs before you see anyone (they use to have someone great you on the lower terrace to mind your bags while you went up to check in). The guy who runs it seems glum and is more interested in watching TV than checking in guests. They don't take credit card payments so you need to walk all the way into town to draw money to settle your bill. They have a notepad with all your details, address, passport number, occupation, parents names etc. that you write in that seems very unsafe for so much personal information to just be lying around. Each time we arrived or checked out we were met with a grunt and a scowl because we had disturbed his TV viewing. We also felt sorry for the cleaning women who he barked at. The linen in the rooms was so old and on one visit we were given a towel covered with rust stains.
basically none, except for the wifi connection.
we reach in the early 8am and having our boat tour at 9am which is a short time for us to check in and take our breakfast and settle in our room. there was a staff who is preparing the breakfast in a very slow pace and unwilling to help us to check in instead of asking us wait for another staff. we finally manage to check in at 8:45am and we waiting outside for the transport picking us for the boat tour which set at 9:05am. but after 15mins wait the transport not showing up, we thinking to get the inn staff to help call the company, but the staff told us that this inn doesn't have any phone and "sorry we can't help", worst stay of my turkey trip

Cramped bathroom with poor fittings
Bedrooms and bathrooms recently renovated. Lovely sea view from balcony. Breakfast basic but OK and included. Staff helpful but limited English.
communal area needs attention to make the best of the beautiful view
Nice roof terrace with a beautiful view, nothing else special about this hotel but nothing bad either.
bad smell from the sheets (must have stayed too long in the washing machine)
The room is so tiny, it's not really clean and water pressure in shower is poor
Location was ok
The place was filthy and very rundown. I realise it was inexpensive but the minimum requirement is cleanliness!!!!!!
cheap, comfortable, great breakfast, and good view
Wifi in the room, late breakfast, expansive tour. But very good. I recommend this pension. fix location of pension in this site map.
This place is completely charmless. There isn't a single thing to enjoy about the place.
The dirty & damp room, stinking air-conditioning, toilet brush covered in mouldy sh*t, shower without shower head - enough said.
The room had no balcony which it was meant to have! The room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was something sticky on the floor and a trail of ants leading from it to the outside. When I told the employee, he said he would be along in 5 mins. 15 mins later, I went to see him again and he had moved (with his 2 mates) from where he was before to the balcony to have a cigarette. He brought me a mop and I insisted on cleaning it myself as I wouldn't have thought he would do a proper job. Also, bedside table was dirty and dust everywhere (accumulated from months it seems). To be fair, once we had cleaned the room, we did stay an extra night. "You gets what you pay for."
Only the bathroom and view
Public areas were filthy. The staff were rude. We booked 2 rooms for 4 people. 1room was at the front with 2 double beds, the other room was at the back on the ground floor with 3 single beds looking over a rubbish dump. We ended up staying in the one room all together sharing the double beds. Didn't bother with breakfast included as we couldn't find any food there, but the kitchen looked filthy anyway. Lucky to make it through the 2 nights.
- The staff was extremely helpful and caring. To add a personal story, I lost my wallet during transport and the hotel staff contacted the transport agency, spending their own time to assist me. I was very grateful for their help. - Excellent value for money. - Comfortable lounge and room. - Good location.
The communal area is a nice place to chill and watch sunset. The location was okay.
Poor staff Breakfast serve at 9 am, which is not too practical for guests who want to start their day a bit early. They only accept cash but on the website they listed credit as one of the possible payment methods. The bathroom was dirty and old. The room was warm like a sauna and the room they gave me was different from what I booked. I stayed there for two nights simply because cancellation wasn't possible. I checked out at 8am in the morning and moved to another hostel for my next 3 nights in Fethiye.
The position was good, also there was air conditiong in the room, but the whole buiding was very old and dirty, it would need urgent restructuring.
Got there to be told over the phone from an employee that the owner was away so I couldn't get a room, and that I could sleep on the terrace for free if I wanted
at 10 euros a night this is a good place to stay. the terrace has a view to die for. you will get to meet a lot of like minded people and its fun. Also there is a store that sells beers right next to it which makes it even better.
the rooms are not cleaned everyday.
Nothing special except the nice view from balcony.
according on it's price this hostel is a very expensive hotel in Fethyie, the rooms are not enough clean, the bathroom and toilet are smelling, there is no elevator ,almost there is no internet and wifi , and you can see every place backpackers who sleeping in balcony and trace with half of price, each smal single and not clean room for per night is cost 75 Turkish Lira that compare to it's poor facilities is too much.
