Ikont Hotel  

Location is quite good with partial sea views and situated quite close to Bodrum Airport. Here was free wifi available in public areas and a very nice and substantial turkish breakfast. Nearby there is a pretty paved area where you can walk around the sea front. I also noticed what appeared to be a bar /restaurant very close by. As I had managed to lose some paperwork required for car hire, the receptionist kindly offered me his internet and printer.

The beds were rock hard and didn't have over sheets just an undersheet and blankets which concerned me about hygiene. The hotel was tired. It was probably quite nice in the 1970's but now very much needs an update. It is not suitable for disabled or people with mobility issues as access is by many steps and the general area is steep with poor roads. We selected this hotel as it was near to the airport. However the taxi rate to the hotel (which could not have been more than 8 miles) was tl40 which we found rather steep! However we did discover that taxis in Turkey are quite expensive as fuel is expensive.
