If you are travelling as a couple looking forward to have a romantic trip, the hotel part and the room won't fit the purpose, very small room, simple old decoration both in the room and the bathroom, and the mattress is not the most comfortable, (it's ok, jut not super comfy.) The room doesn't have a fridge, and we couldn't bring the AC to the best temperature, the room would get either colder or warmer than what we wanted. The wifi connection was poor. But keep in mind this is a 3-star hotel with low price, not a luxury one, and so the negative points have been quite acceptable for such a price and location.
The hotel has a reasonable price for a great location comparing to other hotels around it. Near tramway, walking distance to Eminonu Pier and Sultan Ahmed, and all the great restaurants around them. Transportation to other areas, including Ataturk Airport, quite accessible by Tram which connects to Metro. Fairly clean and basic amenities which would be enough if you are planning to mostly stay out of your room and enjoy the city. The staff are helpful and know enough English to give you advice about sightseeing or transport. Good Turkish breakfast, serving eggs cooked differently everyday with a variety of cheese, jams, etc. Don't miss the green olives!
