Istanbul City Guest House

La situation ( tout près de la mosquée bleue ) , le personnel tout à fait charmant ,

Manque de yaourts et de fruits au petit-déj . La taille un peu petite de la chambre . Ces points négatifs franchement compensés par la gentillesse du personnel

Je n'ai séjourné qu'une seule nuit le point fort c'est qu'il est très bien situé.

Les chambres étaient toutes prises nous nous sommes retrouvées dans une chambre au sous sol :-(

It is a basic 3 stars hotel but it is perfect if you want to visit the city. The location is perfect, in the old city, 5 minutes walk from all the important sites. It is clean and has everthing you need. The staff was helpfull and incredible nice.

Staff is friendly and helping. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is sufficient. No cold-hot water supply problems in the bathroom. Quiet place yet in 5-7 min walk to the main tourist spots.

Lack of good wi-fi connection in the basement level room;)

We stayed 4 nights . The staff was outstanding, helpful and accommodating. The room overlooked the Golden Horm and was a short walk to the Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia and Grand Bazaar, as well as nightlife and many restaurants. The morning breakfast was much more that we expected. We would love to stay there again someday.

Was a little surprised at the stairway, but had help with our bags. Good exercise and typical of small hotels in Istanbul.

Lack of information. I would haVe liked a chair in my bedroom. There was no where to just sit in the place.

Nice view from roof. Convenient location for Sultanahmet area. AC worked well.

The bathroom had a lot of water leaking from the shower, which led to the floor being wet most of the time, but the floor was tiled and had a drain, so it wasn't a huge deal. The juices at breakfast seemed to be powdered mixes. Heater might be too weak for comfort in colder weather.

The staff is really friendly. The manager will give you any information if you need help. Especially, my wife thanks to the aunt who prepared good breakfast. Room might be small but has everything in it and well arranged. Also, location is very convenient. You can get Hagi sophia by 5min walking. Thanks !

Everything was excellent. Room was really good and the location excellent.

Amazing location and great value for money.

Friendly and helpful staff. I booked a single room, because it was off season I got a room for three with a double and a single bed. The common areas are not large, but they are fit for purpose. The room and shower were very clean, the sheets and towels were fresh and crisp. The location in the old town is walking distance from most of the historic attractions of Istanbul. Very good stay considering the low price of this guesthouse. I would stay here again.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, comfy bed, decent shower and a good breakfast!

Noise from the railway at night, but this was minor

The friendliness of the staff and they where very helpful. The rooms is spacious and very clean. Ann the girl that looked after the breakfast is very friendly and helpful and so the people of the reception. I will definitely recommend the place to my friends and will come back to stay again.

The places next to the Guest house need care.

Room is clean and also the bathroom

Hotel was so close 2 tram,i couldnt get a good sleep - there was no elevator and my room was in 3rd floor ,it was uncomfortable -Place for breakfast is so disgusting I stayed only one night and shift to another hotel. In short ,i dont recommend the hotel.

Modest, simple, clean, cheap hotel. Nice view on the terrace, very central (5min walk to blue mosque and 10 to haya sophia). Loved miss Anna (girl responsable for the breakfast) very friendly. The other staff not so friendly. Good relation quality/price.

Very near to the train line (very noisy). Offered us tours more expensive than in the travel agency, and very expensive airport shuttle. We recommend you go on your own.

The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The small, 4th floor rooftop area has a fantastic, 180-degree view over the sea of Marmara and the start of the Bosphorous on one side, and over the ramshackle streets up to the Blue Mosque in the other. Well located for all the attractions of Sultanahmet (Old Istanbul) and hence also for the tramstop to get to the rest of the city and the ferries. The included breakfast was good.

It didn't worry us, but you need to be physically able and fairly fit as there are 4 floors, with breakfast being served on the third.

Wonderful stay. Clean, safe, quiet, affordable, and a great staff! It was great to see Istanbul for the first time and have such a trustworthy place to stay.

Great view and awesome service from the employees which were all very kind and welcoming.

The tram/subway trains are very close and can be loud at times but are find during the night for sleep.
