In a 19th-century building, centrally located in Istanbul just 82 ft from the lively Istiklal Caddesi, Gumusyan is a boutique hotel with a gourmet restaurant.

Score from 165 reviews Excellent
It is a small hotel with nicely furnished rooms, really comfortable bed and decent bathroom. Street is a bit noisy during the weekends since literally hundreds of people are partying on the street, but windows are fairly soundproof and we had no problem sleeping.
would like a kettle
The price, friendly staff.
Cabinet door in bathroom sink is hard to open. Probably needs some oil in the hinges. There are black stuff in corners of tiles in shower. It's not mildew but they can use a combination of water and Clorox to get rid of that nasty looking black stuff.
Little small rooms
+ The location (a lot of bars / party around) + The price comparing to the quality + Slippers + Fridge + Heater + Locker inside the room
- The noise. If you are going with your family and not going out I think you should go to another hotel
-Location (near to Taksim and Istiklal Street) - Room rate. -Wi-Fi very good every where. -Clean and comfortable beds -Very good breakfast (if you like Turkish Style) and service. -Staff. Polite, friendly and helpful. -Safe box in the room. Free. -Good illumination in the room.
-Location. In the middle of the low-class bars and "strange" establishments. Trash and garbage everywhere. -Those are open until 5-6 in the morning and competing in decibel. -Ventilation. Too hot but quite when you have the windows closed, impossible to sleep when you have the windows open. -Bathroom. Clean. As usual no shelves or hooks. Needs repair. -Why the management of the hotels do not check the rooms. I always advise them to take their wifes and stay couple of nights in different rooms. Then they see what is missing. I really advise for this hotel. -To sleep with ear-plugs every night.
местоположението на хотела е добро
-Закуската е под всякаква критика. паркинга скъп -за това което предлага хотела-цената е висока.
The service, courtesy, very nice rooms, clean, the excellent breakfast each morning, the security, and hospitality.
Lovely little hotel, great fun neighborhood if you are up for a fantastic night out but terrible if you want to get some sleep. The staff is super helpful, nice, smiley and sweet ex church makes up for the poor English. Room is perfect for a weekend trip. Otherwise might be a bit small. All in all good hotel
The location is too noisy and not decent at all.
The friendly staff and clean room.
It was a value for money hotel - what is not to like?
The friendliness of the staff members. It's not too far from the iconic Istiklal st.
The back streets of this hotel is infested with prostitutes. We were shocked to say the least. Walking down the dingy looking streets to see working woman peering down through the windows was frightening for two women. Would not recommend if you have a family to stay here.
It is a good place to stay in Istambul, absolutely recommended.
Small hotel in à very nice district of Istanbul. Around the corner many bars and restaurants. Just 1 minute walk from the main shoppingstreet Istiklal. We will certainly go back to Jakaranda
Nothing. We had à room at the front of the hotel, à little bit noisy outside during the night, but not worth mentioning.
Very good stuff , I'll come back again
Location is good, near main shopping street and Taksim square. Rooms are clean. Friendly sfaff.
Breakfast is "continental" (fixed portion) and rather poor. At some point they stopped refilling the shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom.
-Good position if you prefer to live the Istanbul night than visit the city during the day. -safe deposit box for free.
-Price of 95 €/night -Clean - towels and bed dirty -It was impossible to sleep during the night (I was on the third floor on the "quiet" side!!). -Breakfast is very poor!! -the room is very small. It is not possible to open completely the toilet door!! -the toilet was broken (they immediately fix) -the air conditioning was broken (only hot air while it was needed fresh because it was impossible to keep the window open due to the sound of near discos). -It is one funicular and one metro far from the old city. -It is offering 35€ trip to the ataturk airport, while others are doing for free. Moreover, the only good night to sleep because there were no open discos, the fire alarm woke me up during the night for a fake alarm! At the end... Find another structure!!!!
Very nice hotel. The room (301) was not huge but comfortable and actually nothing to complain about. For us it was important that it was clean, and it was very. Bed sheets and towels changed when needed. It was also quiet at night, including on friday or saturday night, which we didn't dare to hope too much considering the place, the hotel is very close to Taksim, Istiklal, and all the cafes, bars and restaurants around. The included breakfast was a simple usual Turkish breakfast as you could see everywhere. Not the best quality but OK. There were only Turkish language TV channels, but OK we were not in Istanbul to watch TV. The staff is friendly and always helpful, available 24/7, but not everybody speaks english so sometimes in rare occasions it can be a problem. All in all a very nice stay there.
The streets and general environment around the hotel could me more clean and less messy, but that's not the hotel's fault actually.
The staff was very courteous and polite. All the facilities in the hotel were up and working. The manager was kind enough to let us check in early as our flight reached early.
The breakfast had a very minimal choice, and they give the same breakfast every day, someone who is not used to of the Istanbul eating will definately will have problems, they can definately come up with some more ideas.
Location (everything is close and within walking distance from Taksim square, where airport buses are coming) Breakfast was absolutely okay, looks like compilation of traditional Turkish breakfasts. Who write something against, people, don't eat too much! :)
Location is good, central place etc, but at same moment it is very noisy during night. I used ear plugs to sleep. If you cannot sleep with them and do not looking for night activities, think about other place.
In the city centre. The room I stayed in was very nice.
it isn't Buffet Breakfast but it is ok.
