Within walking distance to the seafront and Selimiye, Loca Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool with a hot tub. It has air-conditioned accommodation with panoramic sea views.
Score from 75 reviews Wonderful
Selimiye is a very sweet and small place, perfect for relaxing. Rooms are clean, breakfast is nice.
All over wet bathroom after shower is very dangerous! Facilities are very poor. The very small pool area, the garden and flowers and the sun beds are dirty and unkept, rubbish in the garden area next to the sunbeds, seems like they don't care at all and just want to make money... Wi-Fi is too bad! There is NO privat beach area at all! You have to walk 10 minutes to the sea, there are much better Hotels next to the sea!!! I would'nt stay there again for this money, it's much too pricy!
Jenny all the staff and the house plus the cat
Nice, friendly staff. Breakfast and the garden
There are very good breakfast and very kind personel.
Wi-fi too bad.
while we were making the reservation, ı asked for a 3 beds room on the second floor with balcony. we are given a very bad room on the first floor with no balcony, facilities are very poor. For this price, making a reservation is totally insane. Not worth it!
Breakfast was nice with built-in menu 5 o`clock tea time with cakes There is a pool inside hotel with lovely garden People are always nice
They got bed bugs which can eat wood. A little bit a mosquitos that can bite.
location breakfast tea/coffee making facilities
pool area, garden, paths and sun beds dirty and unkept , smelt of cat urine and faeces near pool area and garden. staff conducting business in public, minor disagreements made for a poor atmosphere . although the room had clean sheets and linen and had been mopped, other surface areas such as the bathroom door were unclean
It is close to the beach and has two beautiful private beach areas. Has a nice garden which provides an alternative to the sea. The breakfast and cakes are delicious. Beach and shower towels are provided which is good. They are willing to help and fix everything for the visitors.
No hot shower in the mornings. Although we requested a room with a double bed there were 2 single beds in the room. They brought them together for us, it wasn't a big problem for us anyways. Rooms are very close to each other, it is not the best if you're looking for some privacy.
It was our first time in Selimiye. The hotel is conveniently located in the beginnig of the small street leading to the harbour area. I and my wife enjoyed this lovely small hotel with several trees in its garden, one of which was told to be about 100 years old. In the balcony on second floor, you feel to be a part of the surrounding trees, some of which are olive trees. The furniture of the room, the wooden ceiling and the old style wooden windows made me to remember the house where I was born in the village. We stayed only two nights, for this reason we could have only two breakfasts and two five o'clock tee with lovely cakes. The breakfasts and the cakes served at 5 pm were delicious. Mrs. Jenny and Salih were very kind to us during our stay. Salih made very friendly conversations with us and gave whatever information we needed about Selimiye. We would like to thank to Mrs. Jenny, Mr. Salih and all the staff for their services. It was a pitty that we could not say goodbye to Mrs. Jenny as we left the Hotel, since, we presume, she was busy to welcome her mother during that day. We would like to stay in this lovely place again in the future.
The five o'clock cakes were delicious, however, we think that, in order to make them more healthy, we would like to recommend that their sugar content is kept a little bit lower.
Ideally located in delightfully small town of Selimiye, 2-5 minutes walk from good variety of restaurants; very pleasant courtyard and pool area; great help from Jenny and Sahil on plans for touring, walking, dining, etc; excellent breakfast, and afternoon tea and cake are legendary. Lovely 2nd floor room with balcony. Excellent overall experience and value; will definitely stay here again.
"Wet-style" bathroom is not our favourite but doesn't really detract from all the positives.
Close to water, very laid back, excellent pool & garden setting (top for breakfast). Jenny's breakfast was really good. Jenny & Sahil had top English language & good advice re next moves/touring choices. Excellent value for money!
Watering all the paths made entry to floor tiled rooms problematic, needed soft mat inside door as minimum. Walking trails map would have been well received - Denis M
