People at reception was very helpful specially the girl at the scarfs stand.
Terrace is very small, I had to eat in a seat in a corner with no table. Hotel is very old, there was even a void in the ceiling of my room. Kitchen staff doesn't speak English.
Nice place in the heart of the city, every attraction from the old town is near to the hotel. The staff is very helpfull and they allways smile, if we had any questions they did everything to answere them.
Hotel staffs were very nice. I had some trouble with my flight reservation and without the help of the staffs, I could not make it back on time. Their guide suggestions around istanbul were also quite helpful. I would definitely stay over at the hotel when I am back in Istanbul.
Great location right in the middle of Sultanahmet. We visited everything on foot (we did take the tramway to Taksim Square but walked on the way back). Despite being on the tramway line and on a busy street, we had no trouble sleeping and did not really hear the city noises (4th floor, facing the street). The breakfast was good (eggs + fruits + vegetables + various breads and cereals). The terrace was nice. The wifi connection was fast and reliable.
We had two power outages while in the room. Both lasted around and hour. The building on the other side of the road looked like it still had power. I didn't inquire about the source of the outages.
Bed is not comfortable,so noisy, staff is not professional in cleaning the rooms,
Location of the hotel is very good, but everything else is ridiculous.
I have booked a double room in the hotel for one person. But I did not receive the room which was presented during my booking in the website. I booked double, quiet room and I have received small room, near the emergency exit - it was noisy and very hot. Looks like a basement on the 6th floor. I made a complain at the reception desk, but they said that the responsible person for reservation is not working this day and they could not help me. They refused to change my room, although there were some free rooms in the hotel. It was the worst hotel ever. I do not recommend it to anyone.
The staff were friendly and it was a pleasure to stay there
Great location for visiting the historic center. Surrounded in the vicinity of restaurants, cafes and shops. Easy access to bus
was installed as the seventh floor stair access was
Super location, within walking distance to all main attractions. Great view from the roof top breakfast. Adequate room. No complaint.
location and staff are amazing, breakfast is lovely on the roof and the turkish breakfast with yogurt and simit (turkish sesame rolls), different cheeses, tomato and cucumber and olives and dried fruits, and more tings like cerial and more breads, coffe and tea of course - perfect
Location is great. Walking distance to top sights, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Galata Bridge & Tower etc. The Hotel itself was in a word adequate. We had a roof and a bed.
Breakfast was ok, but the same each day including 3 different dubious processed meats. Towels were changed on our first day but not on the second.
Location, breakfast, service
Lack of queen beds
the breakfast is good also.
Location is the best, is very close to the main places to see and visit, staff is very friendly and nice, specially Kamil, he is a very nice and helpful person at the hotel
Great Hotel in an ideal position for tourists. Staff are very good and attentive and the standard of hospitality was very high. Lovely breakfast to set you up for the day. Value for money.
Nothing not to like at the cost !
Great location and staff were very helpful
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They organized a transfer from the airport to the hotel and helped explain Turkish culture
The elevator was small. It was difficult to fit two people with their luggage.
The most convenient is the location of the Hotel. All is around -TopKapi Palace,Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Spice Bazaar, Galata bridge- you just walk and take pleasure. After location the second thing you like this is Staff. really amazing people. all of them is concentrated on your comfort and are very very friendly. Kamil -reception- the best of best !!! Rooms cleaned and breakfast as well quite well. So I will advise everybody to stay in this perfect hotel: reasonable price with super location and staff!
Spacious room (101) with decent amenities. The Metro station is a 5 minute walk from hotel. Close to the Egyption Bazar and ferry / tour boats. The down side is it is noisy until midnight until the street traffic winds down.
The rest of staff
noise. Television and refrigerator didn't work.
The hotel staff was friendly enough and its services are very good compared to the cost of the room, value for money. Its location is perfect, near agia Sofia and top capi. Also, near Galata bridge. They change towels every day. Also, the breakfast was decent. The tram was very near too.
Nothing other my expectations.
The location was perfect, close to many attractions (7 min toTopkapi Palace, 10 min to Spice Bazaar, Galata Bridge, etc), many nice shops and restaurants around. The transport is very convenient and you can go easily almost everywhere.A shuttle to Ataturk Airport is 5 EUR and to Sabicha 10 EUR. Staff were very nice and helpful(thank you, Camil&Co). Breakfast included fresh fruit, pastry, cookies, cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, yoghurt, eggs, some meat(not very tasty), fresh bread. The price was reasonable , taking into consideration the location. The room was nice and clean and even if it faced the main street, it was not noisy at night.
The lift was out of service on the last day- but the staff helped with the luggage, and we stayed only on the 4th floor! Also there is construction going on opposite the hotel- but it's not the hotel's fault and they have a reasonable programme. The coffee was instant. What I disliked was the fact that customers during breakfast put back spare food-cookies and bread(I saw it 2 times in 4 days!!)-I think there should be a notice forbiding them to do it- it's not hygienic.
