central location in village, room size & view (covered in snow), excellent buffet evening meal & breakfast.
no hot water in evening or morning, so couldn't use hot tub, but we did get evening meal for free because of it.
location +service gay Mr.ahmed he help a littel with park car & lagged .
Rooms are lovely and reception people were very kind.
The dinner venue was cold and uninviting. We tried to find another place to eat on our second night but that was a disaster as there really are no restaurants in town in November.
Delightful place, confortable rooms and helpful staff.
WiFi only at reception
Everything - wifi in the cave was not very good; the view was fantastic, staff, friendness, all
Surprise of the fruit plate brought by thr room service, very nice
The receptionist was really friendly, helpful and speaking good English and French. The room was big and pretty. We had a terace with a nice view. Free tour if stay for 3 nights or more.
Not the best spot in Capadoccia. The restaurant is alright but nothing amazing Other staffs than the receptionist were not speaking english. The free tour brought us to too many shops and didn't spend enough time in the best area.
Staff is perfect (special thanks to Neslihan) she was really helpfull. Rooms are spacious. Location is good close to Ihlara Valley (12km).
Breakfast was so poor. Although towels and sheets are clean, bathroom was dirt. there is no wi-fi at rooms. You can get wi-fi just at etrance hall.
We got a room that was like in a castle and really got me wondering if this is how the princesses lived like. Bathroom was modern of course and clean. Good location for Ihlara valley and underground cities exploration. Good sleep quality, as the walls are 0,5 m thick.
They were really busy, as they received 3 buses of tourist that night. I did not notice the crowd in our room, but the all you can eat dinner buffet was closed for other guests and breakfast bar was total chaos in the morning.
The Kapadokya Ihlara Konaklari is set in the gorgeous small village of Guzelyurt. The building is clean and the subdued light and deco gave me the sense of some kind of gothic mystery. From the terrace outside I could see the ancient dwellings of the Manasteri Valley. One could spend hours just sitting there and absorb all the history that has evolved there through the times. Food is excellent and more than abundant. Good variety even for vegetarians. Staff are always willing to help and they themselves often took the initiative of offering tea, cakes etc. My mother in law is disable and needs to walk a few steps or climb a few stairs and she is out of breath. Staff were always there willing to help and to make her staying more enjoyable, even by spending time with her for a chat. I could never thank them enough. Overall an absolutely incredible experience.
Two things were a little disappointing. First, parking was a bit of a problem. It was sometimes difficult to manouvre the car in such narrow lanes, assuming no other car was in the way. My mother in law needed to get close to the main entrance as she is disabled. The other thing is that in the map of Booking.com, the hotel is placed just outside the village. In actual fact it is bang in the middle of it. Early in the morning we were woken up by the chants of 2 very nearby mosques. Maybe Booking.com could reposition the hotel in its rightful place in the middle of the village.
- Our bathroom was huge - our own private cave! - Dinner at the restaurant was excellent value - one of our best meals in Turkey and huge portions. - Staff were very friendly - even sending complimentary cut fruit to our room in the evening. - The view from our room was superb.
On a three week trip through western Turkey, our family of five stayed in many places. This was our favorite. The small village of Guzelyurt is off the main Cappadocia tourist route enabling us to explore the underground city, cave churches and habitations virtually by ourselves. the hotel itself could not be better situated , with multiple stone terraces perched over a deep valley pocked by many ancient caves. In the distance, looms a beautifully shaped massive volcano. The town itself is small and manageable but with everything you need. I'd also like to add that the staff (like most of the people we met in Turkey) were friendly, considerate and very helpful, in every way. Staying here was the highlight of our trip!
The location is wrong on booking.com's map. The location is actually in the center of town rather than east of town. This caused some confusion for us.
It was surprising to find such a wonderful hotel, located in a suggestive position in the little Guzelyurt. The owner Nazli is a very nice and kind person, that helped us to organize our trip. Warmly suggested! Concetta e Alessandro
Very friendly and helpful staff. Unusual as the hotel had different locations for reception, breakfast and accommodation. Good view over valley from terraces. Restaurant excellent and staff very helpful in feeding a vegetarian!
Nowhere to store our clothes so had to use our suitcases on the floor. Room a bit dark as lampshades dark and light fittings broken. Spa bath hadn't been used for as while as full of dead flies!
A hotel, situated in ancient part of the town, and being an ancient building itself, very interesting and stylish rooms, lot of free space in room, very friendly and very helpful english speaking stuff, really value for money because of the historical place.Good breakfast and dinner facilities.
No water at all in bathroom after midnight, beware, but maybe it was only temporary trouble, we didn't understand that clear
Our best hotel during our trip in Turkey! Staff was very kind, we felt really welcome. We even got fruit delivered to our room from the hotel. Rooms and the view are really pretty.
Food was good in general but the steak was chewy.
We had never expect to find such a beatiful Hotel. The view, The location,The Food, The Stuff... Everything and Everyone were amazing.
The staff are really friendly. We arrived Cappadocia at night and we have to drive to the hostel which is far away from the airport. We got lost and arrived late, but the staff helped us and waited for us in front of the hostel. They are very helpful when we asked for help with transportation and kitchenware. On the day of departure, there was some misunderstanding with the payment, and the staff was very sincere to us so everything worked out well without being double charged. The room is big and clean, with fruits served.
As I said, the location is not good as it is far away from the main cities like Goreme and Nevshir. There is wifi in the reception area but no signal in the room.
The personal ın the hotel wos very kınd too our famıly,and this hotel is very beutiful and komfortable .Thank you so much!!
Me and my boyfriend we wished the tranquilty and we found it in this hotel.it was a incredible holiday. The staff are so helpful and smiling. they try everything to make you feel comfortable. the rooms are also so autentic. and the mansions have a magnicifent view. Location of the hotel is so close to Ihlara Valley. I advice everyone who wants to have an unforgettable experience.
Night spent in stone hotel is a very interesting experience. But humidity in the room is extremely high. We've decided to spend only one night. I can recommend such solution.
In the hotel there were some electricity issues.
We enjoyed our stay, staff was nice and helpful (we arrived at 2am, staff picked us from a point), bath, shower was clean, room was spacious, breakfast was very good.
Bedsheet (at least mine) was not clean, shower cabin was broken, no ventilation in bathroom (just a small hole on the wall opening to the room!), no signs directing to the hotel, public transportation is not easy if you are travelling without car. No good restaurant around to have dinner.
loved the character of the whole place. The staff were wonderful.
- all of stuffs were very kind - they were very helpful about our anniversary - breakfast was very delicious - tv room was comfortable although there wasn't a tv in the room
- room was cold - there was no tv in the room - i don't like the bathroom
wonderful place! super-kind staff and great food! amazing included tours, and very romantic setting (inside and out!)
