Super fresh hotel, great location, kind, helpful personal with good service. Recommend this hotel!
Overall, good experience.
First night, bathroom was not very clean and did not have hand soap. This improved the second night.
The stuff is super helpful Nice location close to tourist places but still feels like real Turkey
The shower did not have pressure
Staff wanted payment in cash only and upfront Very unprofessional - very seedy feel to the place Strong smell of cigarettes in whole place as soon as you get in Dirty- rooms smell of cigarettes and my sheets had stains and cigarette burns Towels have stains
Lots of small shops, mostly for locals but western breakfasts too Convenient walk to Galata Bridge 5mins steeply uphill to buzzing shops and restaurants Lift
No obvious entry, poor signing Some noise from restless children
staff are very friendly very quit
difficult to locate no parking they do not prefer credit cards
suits with separated bathroom and toilet very clean and fancy excellent staff
No parking Street noise
Very good position. Tram station in 400m. It was nice atmosphare around Galaturm in the evening. The personal were very helpful and gave us good suggestions as where to go. Our apartment has two bedrooms with a link door which is very convenient for family like us with two big boys.
It would be nice if they provide breakfast. However this is not a problem.
Nice and clean room, exactly as it was shown in the picture. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and hope this hotel will prosper in the future.
The hotel is quite hard to find, and the navigation cannot direct you to where it exactly is (but pretty close).
Proximity to tram Among local housing so gave taste of 'real' Istanbul Aircon and wifi
Limited self catering facilities TV didn't work
Rooms are small Location very bad Staff not helpful Restaurant don't deliver food to rooms Wifi very very slow
Good location and friendly owner. The rooms were of a good size and they were clean. Good Wi-Fi too. Location was also good, three minutes walk to the metro and a similar walk to Gelata Tower.
Very poor sound proofing, walls are too thin and you can hear everything in the rooms around you.
The beds were comfortable.
I booked this place because the reviews were great. The pictures too were promising. However, the reality was a shock. First, the hotel does not have a sign on the building. The entrance is through a small ‘restaurant’ (though we saw no one eating there except for the staff). There is no lobby or reception, only a make shift table and chair and a computer. The furniture in the room is substandard. The sofa had many stains. The floors were not clean when we arrived. The cutlery and glasses had not been washed; they had stains on them. The wifi did not work properly. We were on the second floor and the wifi worked only after 11pm. We went to a cafe called Kato close by and used their wifi and had breakfast there. I felt the place was overpriced. The location (Tophane) is convenient, but it’s not a good location for tourists. Walking along the street at night I didn’t feel safe. There are many derelict buildings, homeless people around. Although I requested a receipt, I was never given one. I will not stay here again and do not recommend it.
Staff were nice
Difficult to reach, not named as Palin suits? And we were lost because of this. Air condition was poor, the area around is uncomfortable for walking. rooms were tight
Apartment was basically 2 adjoining apartments, so a lot of room. The rooms were quiet at night. A few nice looking cafes nearby. Good wifi connection in our room. A helpful young man at the reception.
The rooms were newly renovated, clean, and very comfortable for 4 people having 2 bathrooms. The staff is always friendly and available to help and suggest you where to go. The restaurant at the reception is a must try as they make traditional deliciuos food.
The wifi speed at the 2nd floor was really bad. At the ground level tho it was fine.
The location is excellent (a few minutes walk to Galata Tower, Taksim Square, a ferry terminal, the bridge over the Golden Horn, etc.) The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The room was well furnished and clean.
Internet was terrible - often unusably slow. Sometimes it worked for a few minutes, then stopped completely. The cafe across the road ("Kota"?) has much better internet and I ended up spending many hours working there.
