“ The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They made all our arrangements for a hot air balloon ride, a rental car, and airport transportation with reputable services at reasonable prices. More than that, it was also great to get know them a little--and they were always entertaining the various guests in reception. ”

Hotel owners are just really superb!!! Samed gave me a ride on his atv from hotel to Goreme Open Air Museum & Rose Valley. That's so kind. I got lost few times in the city, and he always helped out. I got a warm welcome from them as well as good conversation about life in Turkey. I stayed 2 nights in Koza Cave, then took a night bus to Pamukkale. The hotel also offer you a place for taking shower after check- out. In one morning, there were balloons flying closely pass the roof top of the hotel. I was woken up by the sound of gas blowing of the balloon. Pilot said hello and waived hands to us. This was just amazing. Everything here is just perfect. The lay-out of this city is a bit confused for me. I got lost few times. Btw, this is nothing to do with the hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel. We were made to feel as if we were guests in their home, rather than a hotel!!! We booked a cave suite and it was like being in Middle Earth. The design is eco friendly and exceptionally clean, the rooms are impeccably decorated and we could not have asked for more. We did not want to leave!! There are only 10 rooms in this hotel and the design is such that guests get to mingle if they wish. Breakfast is just right and there is a variety to choose from. The whole family (and the cleaning staff) made our stay a wonderful experience that we will treasure always. The family really knows what guests need and want and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Dervish, Mrs Dural (I do not know your name, sorry) sons Samed,Tamer and their uncle, Mustafa. If you stay at Koza Cave Hotel you are guaranteed a quality experience. There are no negatives

They were very friendly all time. Samed helped me to plan my trip. The balloon flight was amazing - I was afraid of being scared - and I felt very safe with the Butterfly team. The restaurantes they indicated and the attention that Mustafa gave us, taking us everywhere - made the difference.

Excelent personal. The hotel belongs to a very nice family. Samed was very kind and beyond helping us, he provided a bottle of wine since we were celebrating our honeymoon. The stuff quite often ask us if we need anything and offer us tea. The view in the terraces is very good. Very calm and peaceful place. The location is not so near to the Goreme center but not a big deal. 5-10m walking can be done easily.

The hotel is beautiful with great views. I loved our open concept bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very helpful and helped me book horseback riding with Dalton's Ranch (I recommend them). They also give free beverages whenever you want one. We were able to walk to the town and the Goreme Open Air Museum easily from the hotel. Very hard to find. Don't use the map that Bookings.com provides with the booking. It will take you into the middle of a field. The address didn't work with our gps so we were asking randoms in town trying to figure out where we were going. Look up the proper address so you know where you are going. Better, bigger signage would also be helpful. If you have issues walking or are older, it may be difficult to walk up the hill to the hotel (we had no problems).

I’ll first talk about the hotel staff – We arrived earlier than anticipated at 1030 AM ( the check-in starts at 12:00) at the hotel .And the hotel staff received us with big smiles , showed us to our room and even let us have complimentary late breakfast. That set the tone for the amazing service we received throughout the 2 nights we stayed here. The gregarious and super helpful hotel staff were amongst the best I have ever encountered. They went out of their way to make us feel extra comfortable in the hotel. They gave us a map of the surrounding sites and directions to these sites. They had brochures for the daily tours and the balloon rides which they highly recommended without being pushy. We signed up for the balloon tour but unfortunately the weather was bad 2 days in a row and we missed out on the adventure of a lifetime. Now I’ll talk about our room. Our room was neatly tucked away in the corner of the hotel. We had booked a cave room and that is exactly what we got. It was a pretty spacious cave room which had intricate pieces of art and a huge chest in the bedroom to give it a royal feel. Staying in the cave room was a unique experience and we really liked it. It was also very comfortable inside the cave room – especially given the fact that it was fairly chilly outside(temperatures ranged between 1-10 degrees in the night) , but we never felt cold in our room( even without the heaters being turned on).Koza Cave hotel prides itself on its eco-friendliness and it was there to see in the room ( organic soaps and toiletries). But the coolest part of the room was the washroom- the moment you turn on the lights of the washroom, the floor of the washroom gets warm so that your feet never feel cold. It was a very nifty feature and one that totally took us by surprise. But it goes to show how much thought has been put in by the guys at Koza Cave hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The only negative thing about my cave room was that there was only a curtain separating the washroom from the bedroom.I'd have liked it if there was something more tangible to separate the two rooms. But it's a small issue in an otherwise perfect place.

This is a family-owned business and you can tell that the staff works very hard to keep their customers happy. Samed was particularly helpful, always offering suggestions for restaurants and activities to do in the area. We enjoyed the room we stayed in (#7) - it was truly a cave! It had a spacious bathroom with a nice jacuzzi tub. The only complain was the mattress, which was not very comfortable for someone with with back pain. This might not be an issue for someone without such problems though.

The family who run Koza Cave are so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay incredible. They are more than happy to show you around town or have a chat over Turkish tea. The cave rooms are also well thought out and very luxurious and beautifully designed and reasonably priced for such quality. I highly recommend it and would't stay anywhere else!

The staff in this family-run hotel were very friendly and helpful. When my husband became ill we were taken to the hospital and shown much care and consideration. We appreciated this very much. I would recommend the Koza Cave Hotel to friends. The lack of a sitting area was a disadvantage. We were welcome to sit in the reception area but there is not much space. There is another sitting area which is outside but this is small and would not be suitable unless the weather is warm. Tea and coffee was complimentary, which was good but I would have preferred facilities to make drinks in the bedroom.

We loved our stay at the Koza. The hosts were gracious, attentive and very helpful; they arranged tours and dinner reservations for us. This cave hotel is also very nicely designed and decorated, taking advantage of its location in one of the "fairy chimneys" that dot the landscape, and it has a fantastic view of the valley.

Everything! It's a wonderful boutique, family-run hotel in Cappadoccia. We splurged and stayed in the luxury fairy chimney suite, and it was well worth it, with a fireplace, second-story bedroom, private balcony, and jacuzzi. Staff catered to our every desire and need. Breakfast was fantastic. Book through them for your balloon ride! Better rates with the best balloon operator, and all done with ease. There surely can't be a better place to stay in Cappadoccia.

The hotel was amazing - set right up in some of the spectacular Cappadocia landscape. The hotel's layout was nice, featuring multiple small terraces where you could enjoy the views. The room was nicely decorated and cozy (especially for a cave!), and the breakfast was good. The staff was hospitable. The location is perfect, in my opinion - just a short walk downhill to the center of Goreme, but removed enough to have great views over the town.
