We loved the idea it was built into a cave because of the whole ambience of the area. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is quite unique in design being partly built into the hillside. Our room, a delux double, was off of a lovely courtyard with a lot of flowers. The room boasted a fireplace with two chairs and table. Lots of candles for atmosphere. The bathroom was huge with a spa tub and separate shower and a trough to feed the animals. The owners couldn't do enough for us. They were generous to a fault. Their older son took us and another couple out for a tour to places we wanted to see and was knowledgable and friendly and patient. The morning we left the owner, Dervish, got up extra early to make sure we had some breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for one night only in the small, but very-well equipped room. Helpful staff, sufficient breakfast, excellent terrace. Muezzin can't be heard from this point, so you can sleep :) Very difficult to find for the first time. Asked people in the street several times.

The family was incredibly accommodating and helped us with booking and planning our 2 days so we would be able to see everything we wanted. The rooms had great character and were very stylish. Make sure to ask to see the pictures prior to the renovation..... there is a story behind each room. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

We love Koza Cave! It's the best hotel we stayed in, during our trip to Turkey. The rooms are cozy, neat, clean and beautifully decorated, and the most beautiful about it is, it is in a cave:). It's family owned and the owner are warm and friendly. We were greeted with smile in the morning during breakfast and again in the evening before we depart to our rooms. They are helpful in every way if we need advice about places to visit, shopping and where to eat. All the rooms have magnifcent view overlooking the beautiful Goreme:) We will definitely come back:)

Koza Cave is a beautifully done up cave hotel with a lovely ambience and views of fairy chimneys from the balcony where you could enjoy your breakfast. The owners of this hotel and their two sons were most welcoming and helpful in providing recommendations on activities, restaurants, tours, etc. Every assistance was given with a smile including lifts to the Open Air Museum and bus stop which was very much appreciated. Our trip to cappadocia was made all the more memorable thanks to our lovely hosts. We would certainly recommend Koza Cave to anyone heading to Cappadocia.

Really nice room with 3 floors, setting room, bedroom and bathroom, with no view which is a pity, but you can enjoy the great view in the terrance. A little bit far from the town area and you need a few step up to the hill. Nice staff and happy experience.

This bouqitque hotel is run buy their owners who are extraordinary kind. The facts: the hotel is well located (close to the main street -aprox 5 min walking- but in a quiet area, no noise at all!), the rooms are authentic caves, the bathrooms are extraordinary and it´s very clean. What is remarkable is the level of service of the family that runs the hotel -they are helpful, service-oriented and will help you in everithing to make your stay the better. All their recommendations (tours, restaurants, etc) were excellent. You won´t feel foreigner in Cappadocia if you stay at this hotel. The hotel is perfect!

Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful (with lots of antique furnishings), the location is really good and the service was the best we have had. Also, the family who run the business are great fun and will do anything they can to make your trip enjoyable. Can't wait to stay there again one day!

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They made all our arrangements for a hot air balloon ride, a rental car, and airport transportation with reputable services at reasonable prices. More than that, it was also great to get know them a little--and they were always entertaining the various guests in reception. The room was spectacular: comfortable, luxurious, and with a fire place! The location was great-- quiet with a great view and quick walk to restaurants and sites. Overall, the stay could not have been better. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Koza Cave Hotel were our precious memories of Turkey. When we arrived late, the owner and his wife treated us with some dishes. We were so thirsty we ordered 2 beers. After that he gave us an local wine(Gorem is famous for producing wine). Off course we were prepared to pay.But we knew later that those were all on the house. What matters most is not money but their hospitality. Our room was imperial suits which was very spacious and cozy with antiques, fireplace and arches.Every night they made fire in the fireplace and let us light all the candles in the room. Romantic nights made my wife weep for joy. In addition he gave us good advice about balloon flight and sightseeing tours and restaurant. You should stay at Koza Cave Hotel and see how beautiful it is and they are by yourself.

Definately one of the highlights of my trip in Turkey was staying in Koza Cave hotel in Cappodocia. First and foremost, it is a family business run by the most hospitable family you can ever find! We arrived on the Tamer (the younger brother) picked the 3 of us up from Goreme bus station , which was only about 5 mins away. We arrived before the usual check-in time and we were warmly greeted by Aysel (mother). She was so sweet to have offered us breakfast before checking into the rooms. The triple room was fantastic. The design was rustic and very charming. One thing to note is that the toilets do no have a proper door; only a curtain. Might be an inconvenience when traveling with friends. Breakfast was delicious and we especially loved the freshly squeezed orange juice. Koza cave is located very close to Pigeon valley, where you can take a hike up to Uchisar castle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Koza cave and wished we had stayed longer. There are many cave hotels out there but if you want to have a hospitable experience, please stay in Koza. Thank you Samet, Tamer, Aysel and Dervis for everything =)

From the momoent we arrived at the hotel, the family that owns and runs Koza Cave treated us like royalty. They were so nice and genuinely cared about comfort and enjoyment. We had gone up to the roof top deck to see the view and before we knew it the son carried 6 chairs up to the deck when they saw that we were up there to make us comfortable. Dervish, the owner has meticulously restored each room and has great pride in his workmanship. I am in the real estate business and I was quite curious about the construction process as the restoration and remodel of the rooms to install modern conveniences was innaculate. Dervish explained many of the features and methods he used in remoceling the hotel and you could tell he had great pride in his workmanship. This experience was 100% satisfaction and enjoyment.

We had an amazing time at Koza cave Hotel. Firstly, we were really impressed with the staff. They were really friendly and helpful with all of our queries. We stayed in the king suite for 3 nights which was just brilliant and also an amazing experience. The location of the hotel is very central and overlooks pigeon valley which is great since you can reach most attractions in Goreme by foot. Also parking in the area wasn't a problem. I highly recommend this little family-run hotel for all types of travellers and will definately return to the same hotel and room if I had the chance to re-visit Capadoccia.

Koza Cave is the most homely and welcoming hotel I have stayed at. I stayed there with a group of friends, and all members of the family running the hotel (mum, dad, and 2 brothers) were very helpful and professional. The decor of the rooms are gorgeous and took 5 years to get to where it is now - and you'll know why when you see it, as so much thought and effort went into the design and the furnishings of the rooms we stayed at. Over and above all this, the owners transferred one of our travelling party from the hospital to the hotel and helped us communicate with the hospital staff with minimum fuss.

I would like to say it's really wonderful! We love this hotel very much. They give us a lot of useful information, and help us to book the ticket to go to Ankara. The owner is very friendly, her son samed who works at the reception desk is a very smart one,he treated us like friends, and offer us a bottle of local wine as gift.I should say,the best hotel is not a hotel always tell you everything but give you warmly help when you need something. If I come back to Goreme, I will still choose this Hotel.

The decoration and the space of the rooms, the localization in Goreme, really close to the open air museum, the hospitality and kindness of the owners. Before, the hotel was a cave in ruins, and they reconstructed it all and made a luxurious cave hotel. Stronglly recommend it.

Koza Cave Hotel is a very pretty hotel dug into Cappadocia's fairy chimneys. The owners are the staff, and they couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. Their suggestions helped insure that we made the most of our 48-hour stay in Goreme.

Warm, friendly and honest. Words that best describe the family that run this well designed, quaint yet luxurious boutique hotel. We left with beautiful, unforgettable memories courtesy Dervish (the owner) and his lovely, hospitable family. A must visit place and a must stay at hotel.

Each room is beautifully designed and typical of the topography of the region since Cappadocia is replete with caves. They're also very tastefully done up. As the place is managed by the family that owns it, the service has a really personal touch and we were really floored by the hospitality at Koza. I would highly recommend a stay here. And would love to return here someday.

“Authentic cave hotel but modern touches made our stay very enjoyable. The room was surprisingly large, beds were firm and comfortable, and central heating kept the room, carved from the rock, nice and warm. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful. They booked all our trips and we were picked up straight from the hotel. Printing off boarding passes was no problem and they organised airport transfers for us.” John, Kilmarnock |
