Lovely scenery and greenery. Excellent spa. Great sunbeds and swimming areas. Dinner a la carte.
Poor English. Hotel closing for end of season till may.
The rooms are amazing - private, huge, really cool design. The staff were extremely good and helpful. Shuttle service provided from rooms to sea and spa. Complete privacy amid mind numbing beauty
The food was ok, not much variation in menus.
Breakfast and staff was quite poor for a hotel which is very good standart
The stuff beds
The rooms, spa and restaurant in the garden area are very beautiful and well designed. A perfect view from balcony. Not crowded. Nice music choices. Some of the food in restaurant were really good. Golf cart shuttle was very handy.
Some (not all but some) of the restaurant staff were like randomly gathered from street. For instance when we asked about red wines, instead of bringing wine menu the waiter told us that he doesn't like red wines and doesn't know much about them :) There's a %50 chance your order will be correct and/or delivered in right order. Restaurant and room service prices are ridiculously high relative to service given or room prices.
Just the location. Nothing else.
The stuff don't know English. It is unbelievable but it is true, we couldn't communicate. They charge more the most coffes you maybtake at the breakfast. Be Carefull!! Ask what coffes are offerd free of charge at the breakfast. The hotel and its facilities don't value the money that you pay.
Great Location and Perfect Beach
Lack of proper communication, Extremely Loud music during weekends, below average in food quality
i like the comfort and serenity of the place
i didnt like the fact that most of the staffs dont speak english, and its always difficult to have an effective communication
everything, service is good. i was worried about recent reviews, but my experience was exceptionally positive
Restaurant staff unpleasant and dont speak a word of english
Guests have exclusive access to the sea (blueis, beautiful) and an area where you can swim as you wish. Staff is really attentive, superbly nice and service was so good that it was difficult to tell if people had been trained very well or everyone was just incredibly nice. The hotel is also at walking distance turkbuku, which is very chic little town with a great vibe...and parties going on until 4am! Would go back to this hotel any time!
The comfort of the room is impeccable...The proximity to the sea when you wake up is truly priceless.
One small pack of nuts is TRY 24 (roughly USD 10!) in the room (mini bar)! They cost no more than TRY 3-4 outside..I understand there is a certain margin, but the prices are in general are ridiculous. One cocktail is about TRY 50 (like around USD 20!) at the beach..We have travelled around the world and I can say I have never seen somewhere with such attitude to rip you off. I wish they could change their attitude, we would love to go back and enjoy the sea.
The service was poor, they have changed the concept that they dont serve to the beach. It is nonsense, i want to eat and drink while i am sunbathing. U can drink but cant eat!!! If they had served, be sure that the hotel win at least three times from the extras.
The place is gorgeous and fun! Great spacious rooms with amazing vies of the Aegean sea. Great location.
Horrible service. Its staff is not trained to serve the sophisticated customer. Its overpriced for what they offer. Would absolutely not stay there again.
Excellent location Very friendly staff Good breakfast Magnificient view
Overpriced food and drink. Same food and drink prices are charged for daily visitors as well as hotel guests, so why should I stay in a very expensive hotel? Summer weddings should not disturb hotel guests, hotel guests should have priority over wedding guests
Restaurant staff was very positive usually . Room was big enough for accomadate with baby. The staff was helpful usually .
Disco music from Turkbuku was very disturbing between 1 am to 3 .30 am The place was having an amazing sand but no beach wasnt nice . Nothing for babies or stroller or children . Also moving in the resort wasnt easy for somebody with wheel chair or stroller .
The beach area is one of the best in the area
It is hard to communicate with the staff. No one speaks english and they are not equipped to handle international tourists. Also the services such room service and housekeeping are not up to par with international 5 star hotels. I will not repeat my stay again.
Nice arquitecture and beautiful gardens with SPA
The quality of the Hotel did not meet the expectations!! The service was unfriendly and we got twice wrong dishes. Incorrect billings, Roomservice we never ordered or a Bottle Wine from the Minibar we never drink, we must fight for the right billing even no signature on the bills. We are disappointed.
Location, the quality of the hotel and the smiling faces of the staff were perfect, we enjoyed the dj performance during the happy hour. We enjoyed the breakfast as well.
In terms of service staff wasn't informed enough about the rules and regulations. On the beach we had 3 different info about the food service. 1st waiter told us that they can serve food to the beach, 2nd waiter told that they cannot and the 3rd one told us that there are several places that they can serve. We were confused. We just ended up thinking that the staff wasn't educated well about the hotel's rules and regulations and there was no iron in the room which was really hard. The first time we couldn't find the iron in a luxurious hotel like this. There was no discount in happy hour. Happy hours supposed to have discount with the cocktails to encourage you to drink more and have fun.
Almost everything was lovely. The food in particular was stunning. If you go, don't get lulled into spending all your time in the resort. The nearby village is heaps of fun and only a walk or short cab ride away.
Hideous music playing poolside. Very loud, and a dreadful selection (Demis Roussos anyone?) on a one-CD loop for hours until we complained about 5 times before anyone did anything about it. Also, beware the mini-bar. I unwittingly slurped back a tiny bottle (185ml) of red wine, only to be charged an eye-watering 50 Turkish Lira for it. Outrageous.
Stylish hotel-beautiful setting Boutique feel Excellent staff - try their best even when they don't speak English. Special thanks to Hakan and Hasan!!
Not very central..
It was a great experience, thumbs up!
Well located, clean hotel
Check-out was a nightmare. First such experience for us where the receptionist and the manager insist that a bottle of mineral water was consumed. We have never touched the minibar. They insist I pay or fill in and sign a blank sheet of paper saying we did not drink it. A single bottle of water can bring out the awful arrogance of the staff and the manager so much that even if it were a good hotel, you can be sure you are never coming back!
The waiter and bar staff was great. Especially the restaurant and bar manager Mr.Hakan! I would definitely go again
We really enjoyed our stay at Kuum. Property and staff was great (especially Hakan food and beverage manager) he made us feel welcome and provided lots of options for my friend who was a vegetarian. Food and drinks were great, beach area was wonderful, rooms were very spacious, clean and modern, sea view was lovely. Ilker at reception always provided us with prompt rides on the golf cart around the property. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Turkbuku.
To get to the town or the action of Turkbuku its a 15 lira taxi ride away. Bodrum center is very far away also about 100 lira taxi ride each way.
