Hotel Pierre Loti  

The hotel has a great location close to most of Istanbul attraction including Hagia Sofia, the Blue Masjid, Grand Pazzar, and Topkapi Palace which all are within 5 minutes walking distance. I am really glad with the service provided by the hotel crew. The receptionist, Mr. Yavuz has welcome us with a big smile, he provided as well advise, guide and map to all tourist attraction nearby (Thank you so much Yavuz). The dinning- in room food was delicious and good. The hotel offered free Wi-Fi and coffee and tea facilities which are a good deal and a plus. There are nearby good restaurants, market, and laundry. In addition, Sultan Ahmet Tram station is very close. I never used it though since it is most of the time crowded. Whenever, I needed a taxi, the hotel will get you one within 5 minutes and that was nice and helpful service. I recommend this hotel strongly especially for who is looking for a hotel that is close to most of Istanbul attractions

The breakfast is good but luck of varieties. I thought I will have my breakfast in the Rooftop Restaurant with the great view of the Blue Masjid and Hagia Sofia (as stated in Booking Hotel information) which is one of the reasons; I have chosen this hotel beside the great location. Unfortunately, the breakfast is being served in the lower floor. The room is small (Twin Bid with additional Bed) which is the case of most of Sultan Ahmet Hotel rooms. However, the room was good and cleans without any bad smell. I had safe lock in the room but you have to get the special key from the reception (Old Model) not with electronic digital pin and I had to carry it with me all the time

The bed I had was uncomfortable, feeling the springs.

Price / quality. It is close by the main sights.

Room is very small. The window opens on the street. Noisily. Breakfast is very poor.

This is a lovely hotel in a terrific location only a few minutes walk to all the old city attractions and right near a tram stop. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The roof terrace, with its great view, is a nice place for a drink and the wait staff hand out pashminas if the evening cools down. There are backgammon sets if you fancy a game. Front desk staff are super helpful.

Pillows need updating.

The location in Sultanahmed with special regard to the tramway stop which is one minute away; strict non-smoking policy.

Breakfast could be organized better as three present service people don't serve anything.

Proximité de la vieille ville, du grand bazar et des monuments historiques, tram à 100 m, accès depuis l'aéroport (deux jetons par personnes pour l'aller soit moins de 2€ idem pour le retour on est loin des 20 à 25€ demandés par les hôtels pour le transfert). Petit déjeuner très copieux, bar et restaurant en terrasse très agréable. Très bonne literie; Bonne isolation phonique extérieur (un peu moins pour l'intérieur). Cadre chaleureux

Le personnel ne parle pas français, c'est regrettable quand un établissement porte le nom d'un français et s'affiche du drapeau tricolore! Le personnel de la réception vous saute dessus dès votre arrivée pour vous vendre des visites organisées (que vous trouverez moins cher quelques boutiques plus bas). Les chaines de tv sont restrictives. Les jus de fruits au petit déjeuner sont chimiques et imbuvables. Quant à la vue attention, elle est agréable sur la mer de marmara mais plutôt limitée sur Ste Sophie, la mosquée bleue et le bosphore (partiellement cachée par des immeubles) accessibilié compliquée au petit déjeuner et à la terrasse pour une personne à mobilité diminuée escaliers à hautes marches

De ligging uitstekend. Degelijk ontbijtbuffet met verse produkten en lekker brood.. Ontbijtruimte op bovenverdieping met mooi uitzicht over de stad. Vriendelijke en hulpvaardige bediening.

De kamers iets te klein. Had meer luxe verwacht voor een 4sterren-hotel.

La localisation.

Le personnel trés desagreable.Refus de visiter la chambre pour un membre de ma famille.Hotel vetuste, il ne merite en aucun cas 4 etoiles.Frigo, climatisation en panne,douche bouche, manque nettoyage chambre 2eme jour lit non fait, petite fenetre chambre donnant sur climatiseurs noirs.Presentation facture a nos invitees au check out. Bref hotel non recomendable!

La vista sulla terrazza del bar /ristorante con la Moschea Blu illuminata, e dove fai colazione , la colazione molto buona il pane freschissimo e buonissimo!!!

Le stanza molto piccole , ma tutti gli alberghi del centro so che sono cosi' , noi abbiamo pagato 50 euro la doppia e devo dire molto , ma molto buono !
