We traveled from Sabiha Gokcen aiport. Used public transport to arrive at hotel and it is reachable in around 2 hours. Only 5 minutes walk from T1 tram stop. Walkable distances to main attractions of Istanbul. Polite hotel staff. Clean room/bathroom/toilets. No bad smell, no leaks etc. Generous supply of breakfast unless guests before you have not filled their bags!!! Strong wireless internet (free) signals across the hotel (all floors). Laptop in lobby for guests. Staff member do understand english and try to help as much as he can. Nothing much really. Dont expect posh location/standards for the price you pay for this hotel. Stayed in winter and apparently room was warm enough without room heater. |

Very helpful staff and cleanliness all round. The fact that I booked a double room and was given a twin. This seems to be a common problem in Istanbul because no one understands the diffrence. |

The staff was very helpful in obtaining mapsfor us and giving us ideas for adventures. Access to metro just up the street- which then took you directly to tourist attractions. Breakfast was great. |

The hotel was located within walking distance of everything you would want to see in the old district of Istanbul. The room was small but clean with comfortable beds and a fantastic shower. Very hot water and plenty of it. Breakfast was included in the price and the hotel had a restaurant for lunch and dinner if desired. The hotel didn't have a safe in the room, which would have made me feel more comfortable. The public computers should not be used as both were infected with a trojan that was sending private information off site. My facebook account was accessed after using their computer and after checking I found two trojans installed on the computer. |

- swimming pool and lounge in the center of the city; - polite staff; - free pick up from the airport; - good house keeping; - free internet (laptops in lobby, and wi-fi) - poor and not always fresh breakfast; - pretty old tv; - a laundry and ironing room could be a big plus for this hotel |

we had an easy introduction to Istanbul by staying here..wonderful helpful staff ,very close to the main mosques ,easy walking distances and also trams only few minutes away. Very clean comfortable room with a very generous supply of excellent quality linen and towels.Their buffet breakfast was great, good quantities with a wide range of foods.. one of the best we had in our month of travel. It was great to have their roof-top area [ with pool] to relax after the bustle of busy Istanbul, rooftop prices for food and drinks were still reasonable but carefully note that they are listed in US $ not local lira. We are a well travelled Kiwi couple and would recommend this place if you wanted a central spot in Istanbul at a reasonable rate. |

Location, close to tram system, metro and walking distance to most attractions of the old city. However an area geared to Russians so things are priced in US$, best food was had on a pavement kebap place on the highway heading west. The pool was also good with a lovely terrace which is nice to relax. The staff were generally helpful and friendly and for the price it was good value as you don't really spend much time in your room when you visit a city like istanbul. Unlike some of the reviewers I thought although small the room was a decent enough size, I've stayed in smaller! The room was clean when we arrived although the bed making and sweeping of floors during our stay was not very good. The only problem we had was with the aircon, it basically didnt work but another room down the hall had cool air pumping from under the door so think we just got unlucky and the weather wasn't too hot so we could mange. There was no safe but you could use the hotels safe downstirs. In addition the breakfast could have been better, the bread was a bit soft i.e not the freshest and coffee was instant bitter nescafe. fruit juices were the powdered stuff and tea was stewed to within an inch of its life! But make sure you get there early the other guests tend to clear the buffet if you leave it too late! |

The design of the hotel They did not have change for the money at the reception ( you have to pay only in turkish lira or with credit card, they don't have euro or dollars). They sad breckfast is at 07.00, but they started serving at 07.25. they don't have a parking, wich is a big problem in Istambul |

Very nice hotel, great rooms (except for somewhat old bathroom), small pool on the roof is nice too, loved the design of the restaurant, free internet. Too bad that during the renovation they 'forgot' to do the bathroom. Nothing wrong with it, just a bit oldfashioned. But everything worked and it was clean so just a small minor. |

the warm welcome and helpfullness of the reception staff. we were given a little briefing about its facilities. rooms were spotless as was the bathroom. its location off street was a little difficult to find but it meant peace and quiet amidst the hustle of istanbul. the porter was very rude and very patrionising and kept poking me to emphasise his point. the bathroom tub did not drain properly and on complaining the same porter practically shouts at you thats its normal - water fills up your ankles, and takes a good few minutes to drain. the air conditioning did not cool the room at all, we had to open the window - thankfully it had just rained and was cooler out than in. |

It is in the center area; Near to all means of transportation (bus, tramway, metro, taxi). Around it many shops, resturants. Poor cleanliness; The big problem was no a/C. Their reason as the working staff told me, that the weather is good !!?? although I was sweating all the time, even I got runny nose. |

Hotel was well-placed for major attractions and close to tram stop. It was nice to relax on the roof terrace with a beer after experiencing the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Some of the food at breakfast was new to me, I grew to enjoy soup for breakfast. Overall, great value for money. Not for those who prefer luxury. |
