Score from 438 reviews Excellent
The location and building style.
the hotel owner and staff are very accomodating
Everyone one super friendly and just was a really pleasant stay. Location was great and delicious breakfast.
Nothing everything was good
Considering that we stayed there in winter, it was a nice surprise to fond the comfy room already well heated when we arrived. Also: nice view and really quiet.
The rooms have no windows. That's okay, since they are advertised as cave rooms, but some people might feel uncomfortable.
a lot of support (late check out) organizing ballooning
the rooms were very warm and comfortable even on very cold days.
Lalezar was a pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable, water hot, breakfast basic but tasty. The staff helped bring the bags up and searched during a busy period for an available balloon ride and found one. The view from the terraces is pleasant. There is a small store across the street as well. It is a short, but steep, walk down to the market and restaurants, or an easy drive. Being a small hotel, we were able to park right in front of the hotel. There was a great sunset which we could enjoy for the balcony.
Finding the hotel at night was a bit of a challenge. The map is not clear. A helpful person on a motorbike had us follow him to the hotel. The hotel is at the end of one market street on the road opposite Capaddocia Pide House and then up hill and around a corner.
Good location and good price
Great facilities Helpful staff
WiFi not the best in the high up rooms
We liked the location and we were pleased the owners tried to help us with an unrelated problem when we asked for help.
We initially thought the room great till we looked closer. The beds were dirty and the bathroom was so bad we didn't wash for two days and left extra early to get back to a clean hotel. The deluxe Jacuzzi bath was filthy and didn't work. We tried turning it on and the smell from the water was beyond foul. The shower was broken and encrusted with filth and I was afraid to use it in case of infection from Legionaries disease. This is something i know a lot about. Plase don't use this hotel or this bathroom. It's just not safe and device like this needs special
The room was well laid out; the bathroom has a jacuzzi; nice view from terrace; nice authentic decor; the staff was very helpful; the owner was very courteous;
breakfast can improve; wifi signals not reaching inside the rooms and a fly screen on the windows to allow u to open the windows at night without the worry of flying insects creeping in
they receive double hotel fee because of their fault. when i noticed, i send emails many times. but i still couldn't return it back the payment. Even they didn't answer my email after reading.
- Great view over the city from the terrace in front of the room; - The room and bathroom were quite large; - The room was cool as it was dig in the rock (very enjoyable after a warm day walking on canyons); - Great staff, especially the manager helping us very efficiently and not trying to oversell services as we experienced it in Istanbul hotels.
- Wireless did not work very well in the room (needed to go on the terrace to get a good signal). But was not a big deal as we where not there to stay all day long on the Internet.
Staff was awesome, always helpful with any question we had and to plan our days around Goreme. The cave suite was also a really nice experience.
The bathroom could be improved, the jacuzzi didn't work.
It is a cave hotel ; this is an experiance
The owner is not very interested
The room was huge, 2 king size beds and plenty of space around. Jacuzzi style bathtub.
the room is not 100% well maintained, just a bit old, but really nice for the price
Good views and breakfast. Real cave rooms, unlike some that call themselves cave hotels. Comfortable beds.
Long-standing plumbing seep in the bathroom meant bad mildew smell at one of the beds.
The room was really great The location is prime The view.. wow The price was good for the value
Close to everything
The rooms were comfortable and had plenty of space.
The blow dryer did not work and the drain in the bathroom was full of hair. The manager/owner who checked us in was nice at check in and then we felt like we bothered him when asking questions. At breakfast tea and coffee were offered however, you had to pay for juice. At check out we were charged for extra drinks we did not have.
Location and service.
In the afternoons there was no water at all.
Everything was perfect!
The hotel is at a great place with an amazing view and 5 minutes walk from the city center. The value for money was fine. It's a cheap hotel with normal services. If you are looking for something luxurious, it's not the place to go.
The wi-fi connection was really bad, you could get connected only near the reception. The breakfast bufe was a bit poor.
Location and unique place; good value for money
