staff were very helpful. good information about sights in area, which were within walking distance. had to catch a very early flight, and they were excellent about waking us up and getting us a taxi yummy breakfast, great fresh veggies and fruit.
How the guys in lalinn help us plan the whole trip so that we would miss much for a 3 day trip. And they help us save alot.... we hot a room at level 1 so very convinient. Location is superb. Very near to lots of places. Friendly and excellent service.
Construction noise excessive. Breakfast buffet not well maintained. Items not replenished. Location not good for connecting with public transportation (tram).
Woman in charge was very nice and helpful. Room size was very large for Istanbul.
The staff are really helpful and give great advice on tours & sights to visit.
not a very pleasant neighbourhood, wall instead of a view (very little daylight)
really nice design, extremely helpful staff
The place was a bit hard to find, but it's not that bad. Extremely helpful staff, big and clean rooms, great breakfast...
Although the room is spacious, the view of the room is poor. We could just watch the wall of next building.
This hotel is really great place to enjoy old city. Istanbul’s biggest tourist attractions is within five minutes' walk of this hotel. The hotel is cozy and clean. Most of all, the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Hotel has an excellent lokalisation, few steps from the Blue Mosc and main square old city. We appreciate professional and very polite and helpfull staff in reception. Breakfast was tasty with great number off dishes. The room was excellentlly cleaned every day
Although the room was big enough, it required more furniture. We just had an office table with one chair which was not even enough for two people to sit at the same time! The addition of a small round coffee table and two chairs could have made a much more pleasant room. Also, if they had put a tourist map/book, a brochure of the city and some information about the hotel in the room, it would have been much better. / The breakfast was good but the breakfast room in the basement was a bit dark and poky. We had the same breakfast items every day which was somehow boring. We wished there were some changes each day. / The location was good and near the tourist points, yet we had to cross the old residential fabric first. We didn't feel safe enough to go out after the dusk especially because of the narrow, poorly lighted alleys of the adjacent areas. Also, the hotel was very close to the neighborhood mosque and the loud voice of Azaan (Call for Praying) in early morning was fairly annoying.
Lalinn is decorated very nicely. / The staff (especially Hayrettih) are very friendly and welcoming. / Our room was very spacious for a standard double one. With its four big windows, the room benefited from the daylight as well as the view of the surrounding urban fabric. / The bathroom was very clean with a nice bathtub. / The hotel had a good breakfast. / The location was near Sultanahmet area and the tourist points such as Topkapi, Hagia Sofia, and Blue Mosque. / The best of all is the architecture and the design of Lalinn. Unlike conventional hotels, this hotel felt more like a home. It was really a new lovely experience to stay in a special hotel like this.
it has great location everything is close
Good hotel, very close (walking distance) to the centre of the old city. Very helpful staff - recommended
Location was shabby and required crossing a pedestrian bridge over an old train line to get to the old city center. No lift available; walking two flights of stairs to get to room (easy for a young couple, harder if stairs are an issue, in which case a room on the ground floor should be requested).
Good breakfast. Staff very friendly, spent time with us, and helped with all they could possibly assist us with. Rooms were clean and neat. Location in walking distance from major sights in Istanbul's old city center.
Good Breakfast, Very friendly Staff, Excellent Location, Value for money
I did not like the price I paid, which was three times the price I paid for a better hotel room in Pamukkale. The bed had a sheet for the mattress but no top sheet, only a blanket. I had to ask for a bath towel and there was no soap. The TV screen did not turn off and my room was both on the street and at street leel, which made for more noise that I had counted on. Check out time is noon, but the people occupying the room I was booked into did not leave until 2 PM.
I liked the location and the friendly welcome. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was better than most I had in Turkey; they even offered filtered coffee, not Nescafe.
The floor was dirty and remained dirty during our 4-day stay. There was someone's hair on the floor both in the room and on the bathroom floor, which was disgusting. Also, the shower cabin was leaking, so every time we took a shower there was a puddle on the floor.
The hotel has the friendliest and the most helpful staff ever. On our arrival we didn't have Turkish lira and the receptionist offered to loan us (as it turned out later his personal) money to pay for the taxi. What I liked the most was that they checked us in at 10 AM upon arrival and we didn't have to wait. Also, as we arrived early and had not had a breakfast they invited us to have one. Another plus was a spacious room.
There are rooms with a view of the wall...
If you have luggage and you don’t want to pay for a taxi (in my opinion its’ not expensive, only 45 TL if there’s no traffic), I suggest you to reach Eminonu station and take taxi till hotel for 10-15 TL. It’s closer to go from Sultan Akhmad, but it’s uncomfortable to carry the luggage. And taxi doesn’t drive from that location (because it’s only 5-10 minutes’ walk) or propose to drive for 45-50 TL. We liked absolutely everything, especially the hotel employee Joshgun, who is very kind, friendly and helps with every matter if asked.
Bit tricky to find. Window overlooking building site next door, but no curtains you can close! Noisy A/C fan outside window but apparently that's moving. Hardly any food at breakfast left on the day I came down later. Bath tiny!!
Friendly staff. Breakfast only served from 8am but they made me some thing up.
Great hotel with nice staff close to the main attractions.
5 meter distance from the hotel is a railway but it was no problem, we stayed 4 nights and we didn't hear any train crossing. The eating place is very small and is placed in a basement with no view. Breakfast was basic, rather poor but it was not a problem because we had a lot of alternatives to eat in the city. When we arrived we take a taxi and the location was very hard to find for the taxi driver even with GPS.
Very clean and quiet family hotel close to main attractions, 7-10 minutes walking to Mosque, a lot of restaurants in the area. It's located in the old city. Also very close to Bosphorus The staff was very nice, helpful and welcoming. The standard room was not so big but with clean bathroom, hot water all the time and the bed was very comfortable. For those who don't want to spend too much time in the hotel, it's a perfect location. We booked the room with special price, and the quality-price ratio was very good. Free WiFi.
The bed was kind of squeaky, also there was construction at 1am! Although the room was very homey, it could use a little update with the decor!
The room and hotel were very clean! Beds and pillows were comfortable, bathroom was nice. Location was great! The guy at the front desk was very helpful!!
This hotel is located in a perfect position for a tourist (just 5 minutes walk to Blue Mosque). Rooms are confortable and clean, staff is friendly and breakfast is rich. I couldn't ask more
Location, personel (it is their personal gestures and helpfulness that renders the place its quality) comfortable, clean
Breakfast was the same every day, after 9 everything cold... View from window was not romantic. Problem with taxi pick up... Next time I prefer privat taxi.
Very kind, helpful, friendly stuff !!! You feel welcome here. They help you with everything you need...
The hotel is in a rather difficult place to find for the first time and we had some trouble with the tv and wifi.
The staff was the best part of the hotel. They were incredibly kind in helping us with our bags without asking. We had no issues in talking with them, they were always ready to help.
sometimes i feel a little noisy from outside, but it depends on room.
fantastic staff really good wi-fi connection room was clean breakfast was great hot shower is available at anytime
