Everything was so good breakfast staff view location...
Smile and breakfast
Staff is help full. location . room with sultanahmet view
location fantastic. V near all the main sights. Staff v helpful.
Breakfast v limited. Rooms small.
quite street but actually 5 minutes walk from main attractions (Blue Mosque and Hagia sofia, Grand Bazaar, plenty of restaurants and shops). the staff was more than happy to serve and help with everything. we traveled with an 18 month old child and the hotel staff was nothing but nice, and playful with our child, offering extra kindness and service.
Excellent view with friendly helpful staff.
Rooms were a little small
I came here for my first honeymoon..our flight was so early and we arrived at 7am.. Interesting is I can check in early without extra money also I got free breakfast.. The staff really friendly and even offered me Turkish Coffee every time I have my breakfast.. Location is so perfect for tourist.. I would definitely stay here if I come here again
The menu for breakfast is same everyday but that's not the problem because my husband and I enjoyed the food very much
The hotel was very nice, in a very good location only a few minutes walk to the main attractions, restaurants and shops. Sleep quality was very good. Its clean and friendly. Staff were extremely nice and very helpful. They even took the time to show us around. Service was available within minutes. Breakfast was great and there was a variety of foods available. We would recommend staying here.
The only problem with the hotel was that the rooms are very small and it makes it hard to move around especially with large luggage and a stroller. Also there were not many tv channels available to warch as something was wrong with the antenna reception, so there was no tv.
I liked the location the most, the taxi did have a hardtime locating it, but we reached it eventually everything is in walking distance, and in case you want far away places, there is a tram station just around the corner I really LOVED the idea of the free afternoon tea, coffee and juice, in case you want to relax at the hotel, I would recommend it !
small elevator, can support only 3 people at a time
Facilities in the room were very good and clean. The hotel was in a central position to allow walking to all the tourist attractions and good restaurants were close by.
The hotel breakfast area was a bit basic with self service.
The location of the hotel is perfect, walking distance from all historic sites and bazaars. It is a very affordable hotel and there is no reason to complain about anything considering the price you pay. The staff are very helpful. Our air conditioned had a problem and it was attended to immediately. On arrival we were given an Istanbulkart for use on the trams and metro.
Laundry service was not available (maybe a slight language barrier problem). There is more than one laundry service available around the corner however.
I was sick and in bed for one day, the staff brought me extra water and soup and bread as I got well. They were GREAT!
Location was fantastic! If you go up to the top floor 5 (elevator doesn't go there) you can see a beautiful view of the blue mosque. Three blocks away. Breakfast was nice and staff was helpful.
The bed was rock hard. I sleep on a hard bed but my shoulder would go numb it was so hard. My wife and I did not sleep well here. The wifi was also a bit slow. I am sensitive to that so most people may not have a problem with it, but doing anything besides browsing was a no go.
Wonderful friendly staff and great location. On the door step to all the main attractions.
The location of this hotel is the only valuable advantage. You can easily visit the main historical monuments. All transport means are close to the hotel.
Bad ratio price / quality. The personnel is not experienced. The breakfast is poor. The absence of restaurant in the hotel is a problem. The loby area is small.
I'd seen the photos of Lausos when I booked and saw the amazing views, however not having booked a luxury room I did not expect our room to be in such a great position. However, our room did indeed have fantastic views over the Blue Mosque, Aga Sofia and the Bosphorus. For the price, we were thrilled! It is in an excellent location, close to everything you need to see whilst in Istanbul, clean and the staff are very friendly.
In an ideal world the bathroom would have had a shower as well as bath and the breakfast would have been a little more varied. However, I think the breakfast is standard for Turkey.
The location the staff
room very small noisy
The staff was extremely helpful. Mehmat, Mustafa, Innis and Musa/Ibrahim were all very helpful and accommodative. They went out of the way to do our bookings at the various restaurants, tours, car rentals etc that I requested them to do and would have otherwise taken up a lot of my vacation time. The hotel was literally a 2 min walk to the Blue Mosque which is the tourist centre of Sultanahmet, Istanbul. The view from the room was just as expected (we booked the marmara suite or "double room with sea view"). The price was a little steep but in line with other hotels in the vicinity. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
The breakfast items were almost identical over the four days that we were there. A little more variety from day to day would've been appreciated.
The hotel is situated within easy walking distance to most of the main attractions. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and offered advice on places to visit. Especially the reception staff who assisted with additional travel and transport bookings to and around the city. You always felt welcome back at the hotel after a tiring day of sightseeing in the city. Recommended place to stay to enjoy Istanbul
The Wifi connection was intermittant in the room and English TV channels were limited
Room view gentle staff mohamed and adel
The hotel was comfortable. It had a good location, close to different restaurants and turist atraction (that must be seen). The rooms were very clean. Excellent staff - very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. We recommend the hotel warmly!
Staff hospitality and service are way above average! We were treated as part of the family. I would highly recommend Hotel Lausos to anyone visiting Cappadoccia. No regrets whatsoever. The owner Mustafa, his son Cam and the rest of the staff are simply magnificent!
Absolutely nothing that we did not like.
The ferniture and food
The rooms are very small And the staff are not skilled
Location. Quality of bed. Quietness and confort
Room dimension could be a little bit more generous. Furniture had no drawer.
Perfect location to visit Istanbul, only minutes to walk to highlights as Hagia Sophia and Sultan Ahmed Mosque as well as Grand Bazaar. We had a room with perfect view over the Bosporus and mosques.
