    - free and available car parking

    - balcony door lock was broken and had to take personal precaution for safe good night sleep and kept the valuables in the car. - had to wait for the reception staff for 15 mins while check-out - AC control unit was not given during check-in and we had to go to the reception to ask for it.

The view is spectactular - looking over Olu Deniz. The food is good and the evening meal is very very good value for money. The rooms although not the most modern are comfortable and the view from the balcony almost made me cry on arrival! The rooms are cleaned regularly and there is free air conditionşng which you really need especially in August. The price we gor was very reasonable.

The location although providing spectacukar views is a bit difficult if you don't have a car. You can walk down to Olu Deniz but it is on a busy road so be careful if you have children. You can try to walk back up but I wouldn't recommend it cos it i a very steep hill. You have to take dolmuses (local minibuses) to Hısaronu or Olu Deniz which are both very close but it works out expensive if you want to visit places often. The hotel also doesn't accept credit cards for bookings through - something that is not stated on the website. Also many restaurants/cafes and shops also don't take credit cards in the resort areas.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the laid-back and homely nature of the environment and staff. The hotel seems to be managed by a large family, who keep a huge variety of vegetables and fruits on the grounds, which were available to us as guests. This greatly increased the attractiveness of the hotel for us and the quality of our stay. The beach is a 15 min walk down the main road which leads to the natural park in which the lagoon is located, but you can take a bus to and from the beach, which passes every five minutes or so. Meals are fairly priced and high in quality. Our room was clean and comfortable and large enough for the two of us, and the view from the balcony was beautiful with a clear view of the bay and the small beach town below. We read a lot of negative and positive reviews online before we went there so we were prepared for anything... Negative reviews probably were caused by wrong expectations, this is a small family owned Turkish hotel, kept pretty clean and well managed, just remember this is not a five star luxury hotel, don't expect that concept and you'll have a nice time at Manzara. P.S. It might have helped that one of us speaks fluent Turkish, since the staff isn't very good at speaking in English. They were all kind and helpful, nevertheless. Elif & Chris

There are not many negative things to say about the hotel or the environment in general, however you should be aware that this hotel is not based on a five star hotel concept, and it's not trying to become one. The walk down to the beach might be an annoyance to people with many children.

The location is amazing, virtually any room has a view on the bay. The place is immersed in a green garden, growing any kind of vegetables - even the parking spaces are covered with vines. The breakfast area with a huge terrace overlooking the valley would be enough to decide to stay at this hotel. Impossible to miss, as there are two statues dinosaur-shaped at the entrance. When we saw them, we knew we were in the right place fo us. Highly reccomended if you stay in Oludeniz, far away from the noisy bits, and all the staff are very kind and available (and hard working).

Nothing about the hotel. Just if you exchange money the conversion rate is not as good as in the city.
