it was on our way (transit Kusandasi) and 5 mins with a taxi away from the city centre.

Before we finished our dinner, the staff decided to turn off the lights of the dining area to let us know that we had to disappear. Staff were not able to speak more than 2 words in English. Wifi was with payment. The shower was leaking water all over the bathroom. Outside area was stinking, had to keep the balcony door closed with the aircon on, which was aiming straight at our heads. Thankfully we only had to stay for a night.

The staff was very kind and most of them speak english at medium level. They have this great animation team that is trying very hard to keep people amused at all times. Now it's not exactly the Mariott, but for the money it costs it's very very good offer in my opinion. Just don't order wine and vodka. To put it simply, they suck, badly. Beer is very good and plenty for everyone, so if you're a beer addict you'll be fine. Soda or any other cola type drink is also fine. Food is good and very much to my taste. Had some great tuna fish cooked in salt for a few days, loved it. They have some nice salads and fruits. Don't try the sweets. Really, don't. They're like sugar with something not the other way around, clearly not to any sane person's taste. (unless you really need a diabetes so you can get away from the army or something). There's also a nice lady by the pool cooking some strange bread with potato or cheese that go very nice with the beer. Don't go there alone, you will feel strange, there's only couples there, of all ages. So, not for the young and restless. Rooms are very nice and clean, not very spacious though, but for me they were just enough, i only slept there anyway. Nice, clean showers with great water jet, just the way i like it. LCD TV, and if you're lucky (i wasn't) you may also get a small balcony to watch the sunset. The hotel was very crowded the time we arrived, lots of foreign tourist as well as local people. Nice crowd anyway. Nice people, nice talks, etc. So if you're not used to very good accomodation (read expensive) you'll be fine. People who make bad comments have very high expectations for the money, which clearly is not the case. It's good deal for the money, trust me. You want five stars and extraordinary hollidays, just prepare to spend 2-3 times the amount of money here. For relaxation and cheap holliday it's perfect.

On the bad side, the hotel is quite far away from Kusadasi center, so you have to take a bus there or prepare to take long walks in the evening. (better get your sport shoes, there's quite a few serious hills there)
