The staff was friendly. I found the hotel to be way overrated and expensive compared to other hotels in the same category (5 star) and in the same area. The hotel facilities are very cheap and not luxurus. The rooms are very small, the breakfast buffet is of a poor quality and no variety. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. |

Our check in and out were very easy. The staff were very friendly. Room service was very good. The location of the hotel is perfect if you are interested in taksim square and isteqlal road areas as you can easily walk to there and the metro is just across the road. If I go to Istanbul again, I will stay in The Marmara hotel again. The size of the room was small considering that we had a baby, we could hardly fit our bags and baby trolly because we had a baby cot in the room too. Room and toilet amenities were set for one person while our booking was for two (however, they provided us whatever required upon request). these two things would stop me saying in the hotel again. |

the room equipment and room disign that reflect the country coulture, mini-bar, in the bathroom were all nececary hygenic products and I like the mark L'occitane - very good quiality |

location, view from my room ( 1516) very late daily service ( about 4-5 PM), for me Marmara is absoluty very good 4 stars hotel - but not 5 stars. relation price/quality |

Horrible hotel, horrible staff. My wife showed up after a long journey with a 2 year old child who hadnt slept and was severely jet lagged and cranky only to be told that the hotel had run out of rooms. What I fail to understand is the purpose of a booking if it doesnt mean anything. They made us wait for half an hour and had us moved to another hotel in an entirely remote part of town paying as much as marmara. The whole purpose of staying at Marmara was to stay in Taksim and commuting from the new hotel cost us a lot of money. The staff was arrogant and kept blaming the afternoon staff but the fact of the matter remained that our booking meant nothing. I think this reflects badly on booking.com as well. |

The hotel is well appointed and my room very nice and had a great view of Taksim Square and the water. The pool was very nice. Staff very helpful and efficient. Would stay there again. I was there one night as a solo traveler and one night was joined by a friend. |

The hotel is in close proximity to many shopping centers, shopping streets, food, transportaion like Metro, and Tram. It is in a very important square which is Taksim square. |
