The location of the hotel and the hotel design..
The noise at night basically you can hear everything from outside,, but if you are a person who stays the night awake then this is a place to be.. The breakfast was ok and it could be much better.
This is a wonderful hotel full of style in an old Ottoman house, and has been developed with character, staff were very helpful and the location on the old town allows access to many good sites within close proximity. However it is difficult to find now that the sea front has been turned into a promenade. We drove around Antalya for 30 mins trying to follow our GPS to the hotels location and only managed to find it by a bit of luck.
We stayed in 7 hotels during our long trip to turkey. All of the other hotels were very responsive to email prior to our stays. We made a mistake in our booking dates with meditarra art. They would respond to email even after I got the right email address which was a chore. Then I had to call them from the US they told me to email. So I did again. No response. We would have paid for our cancelled booking in full and for the new booking as well if they just would have worked with us but they didn't. Instead we stayed at Tuvana Hotel. The staff at Tuvana were quite helpful.
The restaurant for dinner is not very active and alive evn the location is superb. They should start working with vouchers instead of discounts.
The room, the swimming pool and the area near the swimming pool
A boy from the reception was very nice and helpful but not all the members of the staff were so nice.
Good position for nightlife and restaurants Swimming pool Elegance
You have to take the bus for a reasonably large beach
Nice place, perfectly situated in the heart of the old town. Very friendly staff
Wi-Fi is available from time to time, swimming pool only since 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Location was good. In old town but not much of a walk to the entrance.
Breakfast was terrible. Many olives but not much more. Shower water pressure water was so low that it was very difficult to wash off soap and shampoo. Flush the toilet and wait 5-10 minutes before it can be flushed again. Wifi good in lobby but nonexistent in the room. When asked for an extra blanket they had no more. No iron in room. I've never been to a hotel that doesn't offer irons in the room.
Charged me more than the price I booked. Rooms are soooo small. Not comfortable and not deserve my money.
Street noise (not under the hotel's control, but poor acoustic insulation made it more intrusive).
There was otopark at the hotel but no otopark insurance. Hotel personel made an accident with my car. But Hotel's manager couldn't solve this problem.
Great location. Nice room. Helpful staff.
nice location, friendly front office
Location in the old town was good, and the pool/bar area are lovely. Lots of nice places to sit outside.
Bed was incredibly uncomfortable, front desk staff not very friendly, parking was difficult as was finding the hotel.
The room size was small, to open the bar fridge the bed covers had to be moved. The shower screen was broken or not in place properly. The in room safe did not operate as per the instructions. The restaurant food on offer was poor.
Beautiful surroundings, quiet location but near the main attractions.
Very helpful staff and the hotel's location in the Old City
The bed was uncomfortable.
I like the multi level layout, it's nice to have a sprawling feel to a place and it was all very neat and tidy whilst having an old style. Breakfast was lavish.
Couldn't open the fridge door properly, it was too close to the bed, because the room was too small. Whilst the location is good, I think that doesn't mean you can get away with such small rooms for the price.
The hotel is in the center of Antalya old town and it has a nice garden. It is converted from Ottoman era old buildings. Breakfast is delicious.
Rooms are small and not so quiet at night, especially when you what good ventilation, you have to open the big windows without a screen to let all the noises and bugs in.
very good location, just inside the old city, staffs there are nice and helpful
not very clean, moldy smell in the room, seems like no one stayed in the room for a long time. just on the street, but the curtain in the room cannot be fully closed, so we have to turn off the light very early at night.
The location .The friendly front of house manager,Gonul, in particular was very helpful.Very comfortable bedroom.Lovely clean linen. Very clean and modern bathroom.loved the Ottoman style decor.
Couldn't open the windows.rooms located overlooking the outer street could be noisy in high season, with people walking pas and one or two bars .
Noisy stay; unethical management Should you have a room facing the adjacent Road House bar, be aware that you will enjoy thumping entertainment until the early hours. I had booked a suite for five nights, but since the alternative Mediterra rooms on offer were cramped, unappealing and of far lesser value, I was compelled to find other lodging after just one night because of the noise. Having collected the full rental cost on check-in, management refused to provide even a partial refund. I was told that I was ‘lucky’ to have booked the suite in the first place and should not be complaining because I left by my own choice. I suppose that is one way to look at it. Aside from the surly, unhelpful staff and unprincipled management, the small hotel itself is pleasant enough and well-located in the Old Town. Breakfast is average, and the Wi-Fi is a bit spotty. You might wish to view rooms for size, comfort and proximity to the Road House before irrevocably handing over your money as there are better options nearby.
it is a historic building located in the old town. nice location and nice room. breakfast is fresh and abundant. love the staff in this hotel.
there's a door on the wall although it's hidden behind the wardrobe, so if there's someone talking behind the wall, we can hear it clearly. that's why we didn't have a good sleep in the first day.
1. location is very nice since it's located to the ancient town 2. the yard of hotel is very nice with a nice pool and dinning place around.
1. very bad service - they kept us waiting to the entrance for over half an hour, the staff didn't open the door because he fell asleep and didn't hear the bell ringing! And not even apologized! They reject us on any extra request or service during breadkfast, like asking for extra spoon... the reception (a plummy auntie) is cold and show no smile at all and even use mocking words to us when check in and check out, not helpful at all when we found our order wrong, and keen to reject any further discussion, show no trust or kindness at all. 2. Room is not clean, and you can even smell the cat pee around your bedroom and the corridor. 3. The bed is too cold and the room has not enough hitting condition in winter. 4. The bedsheet is funked and dump - it's the first time ever in this trip that we wearing eveything sleeping! 5. The room is next to the bar area of the acient town, you heard music and loud sound even till the mid-night. 6. Parking is free but very difficult to park as the parking yard is in the ancient town with narrow entrance (but it's fine up to all other shortcomings). 7. There's no drinking water offering in the room and not even boilor, and the tap water is awful with horrible sediment.
