Score from 308 reviews Very good
The staffs are very helpful during our stay! The breakfast is nicely cooked. Because the location of the hotel is on the hill, the view from the room is great!
The room and the toilet is way too small ! And there's only one socket in the room, making it hard for us to recharge our phone and camera in the same time! Since we spent most of our time outside, there's really not much thing we could comment.
Friendly people Felt like home Breakfast View Could even cook in their kitchen They made dinner for us once. Good heat.
The owner checked us into their new place which just opened. Beautiful unblocked scenery of Selcuk. The rooms was well decorated and very comfortable. The balcony and pool area is a great setting for breakfast and relaxation.
Slight difficulty in finding the place if you drive, but you can call them.
Small balcony with great view towards castle. Located beside olive tree covered hills. Beautiful pool terrace for breakfast setting.
Room is tiny with a postcard sized bathroom. Nowhere to hang towels. Only two electric outlets and one is in the washroom. Rooms are not cleaned or made up in the morning; not even the garbage is emptied. Glass hallway doors let in too much light. Yappy resident dog awakened me 5 times the second night even though guests are requested to " be considerate and keep silent".
It was perfect - couldn't have been better. The staff was awesome, the place had an amazing view of the entire city, the rooms were super comfy, the facilities were great, the shuttle service to and from the city centre was really helpful, the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Selcuk!
The leaflet showing the pool is great but misleading as the hotel is a ruin. Room so tiny that we had to put the suitcase on the balcony, everything is broken in the hotel. I slept most of the night in the car (we could hear everything from other rooms) toilets broken. Staff unwilling to find a solution. Most terrible hotel experience.
The staff were great very friendly and helpful The view was stunning and the family room was spacious, It was easy to get to with a hire car
We loved our stay at Villa Dreams and will definitely go back. It was so loverly to say in a small hotel where you become one of the family. The location is close enough to walk to local resturants and sights, but also far away from noise. Situated ontop of a hill looking down on the city of Selkuc and across the St johns castle watching the sun set with a glass of wine is a memory we will have forever. We recomend hiring a car as you can see so much more and the roads in Turkey are fantastic. We drove a manual car and were on the other side of the road which we are not used to and it was so easy.
Our room was a little small. Travel light as there is no room for large suitcases.
They ordered dinner as we arrived late. Really good sightseen. Far from centre....but small place, so no matter. Good breakfast and awesome staff. We loved it.
View and peacful.
Far away from city center. Need to be wary of shuttle timings.
The veiw over the city is wonderful as is the garden and the pool.
The shuttle only runs when you ask for it which makes you feel uncomfortable asking to go back and forth all the time. We also didn't like being asked to pay for food and drinks in cash when we left and wanted to pay with a credit card.
The owner was really helpful, and there was a relatively convenient shuttle from the hotel to town. He arranged for us to take a tour, although the tour was not great quality, unfortunately.
Shuttle was always delayed, the rooms were small and bathrooms cramped, difficult to get hot water in showers. Also, the hotel is offset from town, so it's not easy to get back and forth.
we booked a family room. the view is great but the price is that you have to drive a long way up. the room is just so so and there's not enough hot water for shower.
not recommended if you don't have a car
Great place to stopover when visiting Ephesus. We didn't go into the town as we didn't need to as the hotel has a pool with great views of the castle and lovely food and beer at very reasonable prices!
nicely decorated rooms and villa, stunning view from nice terrace overlooking Selcuk and the castle, wonderful and very helpful hosts, great value for the money!
During my stay, I saw other guests of many different types all having a great experience - families with small children, with teenagers, college age explorers, and more mature individuals like myself. The atmosphere of this hotel is difficult to describe. It has a mellow energy. I went in viewing it as a place to sleep after my days' adventures but ended up wishing I had a few more days to spend just enjoying the pool, garden, view, and wonderfully friendly owners and staff. Staying here was a unique and beautiful experience. Do yourself a favor - stay here and tack on an extra day or two to relax and enjoy this amazing place.
Very nice views and swimming pool Friendly staff
Depending on a shuttle schedule to go down/up to/from Selçuk downtown No maid/cleaning service Poor room facilities
Stunning pool and views over the mountains. Friendly staff.
Rooms need updating, Breakfast average as best. Noisy air con.
The location, high above Selcuk, looking across the town to type castle, was stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The pool was equally well situated, on the terrace with a view of the castle, and room to sunbathe or lie in the shade of the palms. The free shuttle to town saves climbing the steep hill in the heat.
The rooms were a little bit tired and could do with a freshen-up. The toilet design is not condusive to successful flushing. When the time comes to refurbish the bathroom, they should be replaced with a better-designed one. Although the shuttle was regular and had an advertised timetable, it didn't always run if the pick-up point in town, Dreams Hotel, didn't ring them to let them know there were guests waiting to be picked up, as we found out when we had to wait half an hour longer for the last pick-up of the night.
Nice view but quite high up on the hill. Very friendly stuff, good breakfast.
The swimming pool and the point of view from the terrasse
The towels were dirty. The bathroom smelt bad.
We just loved this place, no superfluous luxury but a lot of charm. Perfect place to explore the region. Or to relax on the terrace. The owners & the staff are very kind.
Nothing; just so sad to leave !
It was located just opposite the castle on a big hill so the views were amazing and the design was very nice.
The stream of the water could be better.
Good swimming pool and nice place to relax.
A bit of a walk to town
very quiet location. Excellent Selcuk views espicially from upper floors. Large family room with a large balcony. Friendly owner and personnel.
