Megara Palace - Old City  

What impressed me most has been the kindness of the staff, always prompt to fulfill our needs and requests. The position is very central and the building has a nice style and a beautiful terrace for breakfast/dinner.

Two very minor negative points: a bad smell of the tolilet on the first day, that has been quickly fixed however; the lack of croissants in the breakfast, that had enough cheese, sausages and vegetables but was poor as far as the Italian breakfast manner is concerned.

I lived in the hotel for 1 week and I had a very happy stay here.They gave me a reasonable price.The staff are kind,considerate and helpful.The hotel has excellent location,you can walk to the Topkapı Palace and AyaSofia from the hotel in no more than 2 minutes.the decoration of the hotel is very exquisite;my room is on the 4th floor.it is clean and lovely,with wonderful seaview from the balcony;the heater is warm enough in this temperture,which is not very common in other economic hotels I stayed during my vacation in Turkey.

Exceptional service from all of the staff; they went out of their way to make our stay memorable and personal. Rooms are quaint, have character and very clean. Location is outstanding for the major sites of Sultanehmet. Beautiful rooftop terrace for breakfast and a relaxing place to sit out front for a cold beer when we returned from sightseeing. i would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a reasonably priced great place to stay in Istanbul.

Price was good.

Airconditioner didn't work, only air coming out, no cold air. Breakfast okay, but no refill of juices and sausages when finished.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating and friendly. The hotel was well placed for the main tourist attractions in Istanbul and public transport

Only one very small concern was that if we didn';t leave the window in our room open the room smelled a little bit of drains.

Instalaciones anticuadas. Baño incómodo. El señor que atiende el bar restaurante es un pesado pidiendo propinas.

Ottima posizione per visitare la città e soprattutto molto silenziosa nonostante si trovi in pieno centro storico.Discreta colazione servita in una bella terrazza.Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo .

La mancanza di un ascensore potrebbe essere fonte di problemi per persone anziane o disabili

Mi mázlisták voltunk, a 4. emeleten kaptunk szobát ahonnan jó a kilátás a Márvány tengerre. Lift viszont nincs, de segítenek felcipelni a bőröndöt. A reggeli átlagos, nem változatos, de elfogadható. A tetőteraszos étterem kellemes. A recepción van Jákó, a papagáj aki szelíd, hagyja magát simizni. Törölközőt naponta cseréltek (pedig nem dobtuk le), ágyat egyszer húztak újra egy hét alatt. A franciaágyon egy nagy közös paplant kaptunk. A fürdőszoba elég szűkös, de jól felszerelt (403. szoba).

Az ajtó zárja nem tűnt túl biztonságosnak. (néha magától kinyílt). Ezzel együtt semmi sem tűnt el. A teraszon a szép cirádás öntöttvas széken elkelne egy párna.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend: ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur Blauen Moschee, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palast. Zur Straßenbahn sind es ca. 10 Minuten. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Zimmer war klein und beengt.

La amabilidad y atención del personal. Desayuno y cena de excelente calidad. La habitación en general, excepto el armario que lo encontramos pequeño para dos personas. A mi en particular me encantó el loro que tienen en recepción, nunca he encontrado en ningun hotel una mascota tan simpática y habladora.

El armario es pequeño para una habitación doble, tendría que tener más capacidad.
