I liked breakfast, it was fresh and enough. The location was very good, silent, beautiful sea view from terrace. Room was very small, a priori its was single room although I have booked DBL. There was only one paar of house shoes. We didn't get the second during our stay there. |

This hotel was very clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very small, but we expected this because of the moderate price. However, very large people might have problems, especially in the tiny bathroom. The shower water was hot and plentiful. Breakfast was great, and served on their rooftop terrace, which had a beauitful view of the Bosphorus. The hotel was in easy walking distance to the sites in the old city. Internet ws available in our room. For the price we paid, we were happy. There was no extra outlet for our laptop computer and cell phone charger! We had to pull a wardrobe out and unplug the mini-refrigerator in order to charge those items, which was very surprising. Our room was on the street side, and it was not the quietest place. There was a fast commuter train nearby. But this was not a huge problem, we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. If you like comfortable pillows, bring your own! We asked for a 3 am wakeup call for my son who needed to catch an early flight. Good thing he also set his watch, because the wakeup call never came, althoughI think this was just a fluke - the concierge was very upset the next morning when he heard about it. |

Manager Mehmet was really helpful.Quiet street, easy access to Sultan Ahmet Area sightseeings. Good price. Room is small, but comfortable, Wi-Fi is working well. Good view from the roof terrace (on the seaside and partly on SultanAhmet Mosque) Actually there were some minor things like bad smell from the shower cabin hole, water was going out from the shower cabin badly. Breakfast everyday consist of same things: a boiled egg, bread (there is a toaster), butter, jam, small pieces of cheese, olives. There is cereal but there is not so much milk, so you can't eat eat. Milk is only for coffee. Suggest to put more milk. |

Fabulous location for sight seeing. Brakfast great and staff very friendly. Only problem is size of rooms, you have to decide whether you want a larger bed, or a larger bathroom. Some bathrooms are not big enough to "swing a cat in". |

Aside from the small room, the staff were exellent, friendly & helpful lead by Mehmet. Location was also excellent to fully enjoy the historical sites around Istanbul The rooms are small and they do not extra electrical outlets except for one in the bathroom. |

Highly Recommended. I have stayed at Megara Hotel recently in Istanbul and had a very great time. The staff were very welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is very central and within walking distance of all the main sites in the old city. It is close to the tram line and railway and local bus station. Everything else wonderful about Megara Hotel... |

The staff....from the time we arrived to our departure ...we were always treated exceptionally well. Most impressed with hotel and staff. Always offered tourist information and recommendations....most knowledgleable and we felt that staff watched out for us. Mahmet the Manager was exceptional! Enjoyed our afternoon "apple tea" chat time with Mahmet. Terrific hotel. |

Reception at arrival was kind and professional. The personnel are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with comfy beds and facilities, a bit small though. Very good location, I would say ideal – the sights, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basilika Cistern and Grand Bazar are all in a walking distance. We had a very enjoyable stay. A visit at the Tarihi Sultanahmet Köftecisi is a must – their köfte are excellent! Do not miss to experience a classic Turkish bath, a visit at the Hamam is really something to remember. |

Friendly staff and rooftop eating place and additional rooftop viewing terrace. Room choice offered was between a very cramped double with no view of anything or a larger and more comfortable basement room with a view of ankles on the footpath. We chose ankles and were happy with the room but we hope the Megara has better rooms somewhere. |

Friendly and helpful personnel in particular, Mehmet, the Manager. In addition, the wonderful view from the Breakfast/Roof Terrace. The room was too stuffy without having the air conditioning on. In additon, the refrigerator could have been cleaner. |

The breakfast room with the view. The pillows are very hard, not comfortable. The location, although ideal, does not allow people to sleep because of the call to prayer every day at 5 a.m. Would not stay again in this hotel for that reason. |
