Reception at arrival was kind and professional. The personnel are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with comfy beds and facilities, a bit small though. Very good location, I would say ideal – the sights, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basilika Cistern and Grand Bazar are all in a walking distance. We had a very enjoyable stay. A visit at the Tarihi Sultanahmet Köftecisi is a must – their köfte are excellent! Do not miss to experience a classic Turkish bath, a visit at the Hamam is really something to remember. |

Friendly staff and rooftop eating place and additional rooftop viewing terrace. Room choice offered was between a very cramped double with no view of anything or a larger and more comfortable basement room with a view of ankles on the footpath. We chose ankles and were happy with the room but we hope the Megara has better rooms somewhere. |

Excellent location for Istanbul sites Rooms are very variable. First one only had a view into a light well. Later we moved to another room with pleasant views |

Friendly and helpful personnel in particular, Mehmet, the Manager. In addition, the wonderful view from the Breakfast/Roof Terrace. The room was too stuffy without having the air conditioning on. In additon, the refrigerator could have been cleaner. |

The breakfast room with the view. The pillows are very hard, not comfortable. The location, although ideal, does not allow people to sleep because of the call to prayer every day at 5 a.m. Would not stay again in this hotel for that reason. |

The location is very close to the Sultanahmet Station and Blue Mosque. Breakfast was good and the terrace where we had breakfast was gorgious with sea view and Blue Mosque. The manager was very kind and cooperative when we asked about city information. |

This hotel is very well located, next to many restaurants, cafes, (1 minute walk) attractions (5 minutes walk) and bazars. The neighbourhood is very safe. The staff were friendly and helpful. Having breakfast on the terrasse was a real treat as we had an amazing view of the Blue mosque and the Sea of Marmara. |

Clean, central location, cheapish Tiny rooms, noisy, some maintenance issues - socket hanging out of wall, door trim hanging off, window not closing properly. Also, is it legal in Turkey to have sockets in the bathroom by the sink? It's not un the UK. |

The staff were very friendly, the hotel is in a very central location, there is a roof terrace withn excellent views of the Bosphorous The breakfast was a little limited. It didn't feel like a boutique hotel! |

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the hotel staff was quite helpful and personable. The view from the terrace was remarkable, and it is the one thing that first comes to mind when I think back about my trip. I felt the breaktfast could be better. |

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location in the heart of the tourist district, convenient to major sites and decent eateries. Decent value, relative to the market. Everything worked. Lovely rooftop terrace for breakfast and evening cooldown. The tradeoff for the modest price was that the rooms were small and minimal, and the bathrooms were overly crowded (to sit on the toilet, one's legs project into the shower). Just the bed, a very small armoire, and a hardback chair. Not particularly inviting or comfortable, but certainly adequate. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good location close to restaurants and sites. There are many hotels and hostels in the area to choose from as well but this price is competitive for the service. Breakfast is decent but could use for a few more choices. Small but clean room. |

It was in a good location, near all the top places to visit in Sutlanahmet. The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. The fridge did not work. Towards the end of our stay the television did not work either. |
