To sleep in a cave is a wonderful experience! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely repeat it!

The cave can get hot and without any air-con or fan it may get a bit unconfortable at night (at least in the summer). If breakfast started earlier you could start your day when it's a bit cooler...

Localisation, rooms and breakfast are so nice. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Good choice with resonable price. I can recommend it.

Host of the hotel is really kind and nice. It provides pretty good breakfast. They arrange tour services for you. It locates in the hill, so it provides nice view especially for sunset.

It says they provides laundry services but it means just wash your clothes in your room then they can provide place to dry it on the roof. It takes about 7 mins to hotel from central of the village, but when you consider that the village is so small it is kind of far. And it locates on ascent.

The fact that the room we stayed in was an actual cave was quite nice ### generally, the room was clean

despite them saying that at night the cave would be "naturally nice and cool" it was quite warm (even though on the day it was considerably "colder" due to recent rain, so on hotter days it must be even worse) ### breakfast was only between 8 and 10 am (but the guy hadn't told us) and when we came the next day at 10:10 am he said it is already finished ### light in the bathroom is really dark

We booked this hotel to experience the Cappadocia cave. Melek Cave Hotel is located near the otogar, therefore, it is easy to go everywhere. And it is just under the Sunset point, so we could see our hotel when appreciating the stunning sunset. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room is clean. A very nice place to stay.

The wifi worked only near the window - not to be complained because we lived in caves. Therefore, we used our smart phones and computers in the restaurant.

The staff, the position, the room in the upper floor not the one in the cave...and the magic place of Goreme

The first night in the cave, too much humid!

Nice place, I'd stay there again. Nice and interesting rooms, quiet for the most part. Very helpful staff, we were there during the world cup and they moved a TV into the dining area so we could watch. They can also help you with travel arrangements, and they do so in a way that is not overbearing, just honest and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

Breakfast could have been better -- there were eggs the first day but not the second and third days.

Really lovely place, nice staff, really good breakfast (if with warm milk, then it is perfect, but we can use the microwave in the kitchen to warm the milk, so it is OK), salon/Lounge with beautiful view and tea is supplied all day. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner Ali speaks good English and help a lot to arrange the day tours and hot air balloon trip. And he even helps to drive us to the bus station for free. What a nice man.

Only two things. 1. It took 2-3mins to get the warm (not warm enough) water in the shower room. And the 3 persons' room in the ground floor have a very big shower room without shower curtain, it is a little bit cold. So if in winter time, it can be really cold. Already talked to Ali and hope he will improve it. 2. The other thing is that the stone room we stayed drops dust/tiny stone from the cerling.

Perfect location among the fairy chimneys. It's near to everything but in a quiet corner. Very nice rooms. Delicious breakfast on the beautiful terrace. Lot of place to sit down and relax. Five minute walk to Sunrise point, to watch the hot air balloons above Goreme valley.

Nothing. Little bit hard to find. Some signboard could help.

Ali and his family are simply wonderful people, very helpful and accommodating if there is a problem. We slept like logs in our cave room, and breakfast is a hearty meal.

There was nothing we didn't like.
