30 days in Turkey, 11 places, 3 of which were in Cappadocia: this was our favorite place! The hotel is a beautiful structure and located in picturesque setting. We stayed in the "Mystery Room": spacious, quiet, high ceiling, firm & comfy bed, large bathroom, mini-frig, kettle. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and could be taken on the outdoor terrace. Excellent location, located in a shallow valley, near cave homes and cliffs, but just a short walk to the newer town with its shops and restaurants. Peaceful & serene.

Melekler Evi (House of Angels) offers romantic accommodations, with most rooms being carved out of stone. Enjoy the wine cellar and panoramic terrace. With beautiful grounds and a terrace, this family residence has a homey atmosphere. Relax outside on the lounge chairs or in the hammocks. Wake up each morning with a delicious, free breakfast buffet. Dinner can be arranged on site or in town (650 ft from the hotel). Rooms are decorated traditionally with local rock and stone. Some rooms even have a private stone fireplace. All rooms and suites include a mini music system, toiletries and coffee and tea facilities. Make free use of Internet access in the common room and read the newspaper for free every day. Explore the charming center of Ürgüp or drive 9 miles to the bustling city of Nevşehir. In these lovely surroundings you can participate in hot-air balloons, horseback riding and hiking trips.
