Hostel is really close to subway that's great and staff is great too I've been staying in this hostel for 1.5 years and that was no problem
Hostel is fine I don't like the Ankara :)
Cheap and near the Otogar
Broken shower room I can't use hot water as I want Just one staff is kind but others are terrible...
M&G was OK, the room is moderate and the toilet is good. It was not close to the center which means you've to go by bus or go by train to the city center (Kizilay, Ulus). The place is a peaceful area for anyone who dont like noisy place.
There is very good place to sleep
It s a warm place that you can feel like home. Also, it s really close to subway. I highly recommend.
Nothing everything is awasome
This family was not really helpful and nice, I drank my coffee with my sugar substitutes, the owner said that I couldn't use her sugar, then I explained, but she didn't listen. They didn't provide anything. The bathroom was rather dirty and wet. The room was colder than outside. Anyway, I could't sleep well.
all workers and position very nice
پرسنل خیلی خوب و مهربان. با توجه به قیمت و شرایط ترکیه خیلی خوب است
سرعت اینترنت یکمی پایین است
Good helping staff, they accommodated for the problems that I had, cleanliness is good, family owned which gives a very safe and cozy atmosphere. If you want to relax and stretch back then its a great place to be in Ankara.
Language issues, only one member of staff could speak English, The breakfast is a bit expensive for the price. And its situated a bit far from the city centre which I would only consider disadvantage for people who just want to party.
One of the staff is really rude Beds with fleas, bad hygiene Washroom lights are unstable
location was good near ASTI bus terminal
rooms weren't clean, bathroom needs a renovation and was also not clean, WiFi didn't work properly in our room
Friendly staff and very helpful. I felt like being with a nice family! Rooms are nice and quite, mainly room located upstairs.
Internet connection is not stable Room downstairs is noisy.
(1)I loved there breakfast in the morning, its very delicious and nutritious. (2).And the hospitality i received here is like is simply fantastic, they treated me like a family and I loved it. (3).MG hostel is one of the most comfortable places I have ever been to. They have nice beds that will make you sleep a lot, hahaha. Also nice kitchen for everyone and sitting room too with good television. (4). I loved the fact i meet so many people here from different nationalities and I learned a lot from different people here. (5). The environment is one of the cleanest places i have been to. The toilets, rooms, corridors are cleaned always, you can ever lie on the floor because its so clean. (6). There is free wifi for customers so i was not bored whenever i was in the hostel and the wifi speed is very fast. (7). It was very affordable, you dont need to be rich to stay here. (8). It is also located close to AnkaMall and 7th street where i went to do some shopping. (9). Going to anywhere from here is very easy. You have the main-road close to the street and also the metro-station. So moving around was quite easy for me.
The wifi. The comfortability. The neatness. The hospitality. A lot of friendly people around to keep you company so you are not lonely.
The location is super - a close distance to the bus station provided you exit the right - go up a few floors in the massive depot building and take the way towards train station! Then not far from Ataturk monument and a really good eating and shopping strip. The small family run business has fresh decore and filled with light and air, a nicer alternative to some of the larger, louder hostels! Very friendly staff happy to help with anything. Thanks M & G :)
The downstairs bathroom is small and includes the only toilet on this level so it can get a little busy and akward around shower time if at full capacity.
LOCATION is nice when going to the busterminal (ASTI) or when using the metro
the double room is super small and very hot in a normal Ankara summer night (even when having the windows open the whole night) ### the COMMON BATHROOMS definitely NEED RENOVATION: they look quite old/run down, they are at most reasonably clean and in one of them one whole shower door was missing (so the water basically went all over the room) ### for such a small double room with shared bathrooms and without breakfast, the PRICE is definitely TOO HIGH by normal Ankara standards (you can get cheaper and better hotel rooms with private bathroom and breakfast for similar or even lower prices)
After checking out, you should be leave, no welcome to stay again. Don't allow to use the wifi, wc, water, battery charge.....etc, on booking.com I stay a lot of hotel in Turkey, no one like this, no respect to the guest.
Near city centre
The bathroom was disgusting (spellt over), the shower was ok... It was nasty
everything was fine
there is a system in the bathroom if I dont move 4-5 seconds the light switches off automatically and there is also a toilett near the shower so it was veery inconvenient, also the receptionist never smiled maybe because they pay alot of money for the electricity
Thank you for everything! Perfect quiet location near the otogar. Very friendly owner!
close to Asti bus terminal, cheap BoFitness 10 min walking, many supermarkets nearby, very clean, good wifi, price
not a tourist atmospere, but for 1-2 days - a perfect place
There is a solid guest workers relationship.
Towel for rent, one Hänger in wardrobe, dirty toilet, Shampoo mixer with water, cockroaches.
I really enjoy the hospitality of the owner, the friendliness of local Turkish students residing at the hostel, and the convenient location of the hostel which is just 3 mins walk from the tram station. The moment I arrived, the owner invited me for tea, showed me a video of Ankara, and gave me a very useful map to explore Ankara. The family also invited me to watch movie with them at night with popcorn and coca cola. Even though I don't speak Turkish (AT ALL), I feel genuinely accepted into the hostel family and wish I could stay for longer.
The shower was a bit difficult to use and breakfast is not included in the price. The dorms can get noisy at night sometimes.
Good location. Nice common area to relax in.
