Located only 320 yards from Taksim Square, Manesol Lamartine has a well-equipped fitness center, sauna, Turkish bath and massage facilities. It is just a 5-minute walk from the lively Istiklal Avenue....

In Pera district, the center of culture, art, fine dining and nightlife, the Radisson Blu Hotel Istanbul Pera has a restaurant with stunning views of the Golden Horn and old city Istanbul.
Score from 1347 reviews Very good
This hotel is in the heart of Istanbul, 100 yards from lively Taksim Square and Istiklal Caddesi. It is close to public transportation services and provides free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have a balcony.
Score from 63 reviews Good
All stuff speak English. Good location. Tasty Food.
Hotel should specify floors for smokers; when I complain for that, they Immediately changed my room.
Staff are excellent. I include in specific Fatih who was always smiling and helps even if you do not ask. If all other are like Fatih, it would be great.
One staff member did not interact with me. They do not smile at all. They reply sounding gently but it is somehow rough.
breakfast not worth at all
Midtown hotel is a nice hotel for its ideal location and friendly hotel staffs. Although the room is not so big, breakfast is wonderful. It close to shuttle bus station (to airport) and locates just by Maksim square.
The location is very close to the Taksim square. The breakfast is tasty. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very professional.
Ignored our request of an Iron and Ironing board.
walking distance to Taksim and Metro.... bars and restorant are around the area.
If you would like to see the whole city DO NOT go to "Istanbul Sightseeing Tour" , they offered a plan tours half day or whole day but you will not satisfy as they will take you to only one area of the town. they didnt even take us to the Grand Bazar only outside.. they using very low quality of commentary earphone, barely hear the voice of the tour guide. GO Hop on Hop off, you can take your time roaming around without any hassle and no rush at all! ( we will do that next time ) :(
central location affordable price friendly staff
Excellent location (close to both Taksim metro station and Istiklal street), helpful staff, breakfast was nice and wifi worked well. It was an overall pleasant stay and I would recommend it to my friends.
The view from the room window was towards an old broke down building. The room service food was not always the same standard.
The hotel location is excellent just on taxism square. Lot of shops and restaurant in front of the hotel as well as travel agencies. Nice food in restaurant. Good size room with good view and very clean. Bathroom is good with jacuzzi.
The staffs during the night hours are very slow and cannot understand English at all. Hotel charges for city trips and taxis are triple than the outside agencies.
Many thank to Sila & Emre
The staff were excellent, especially the Guest Relations manager. Breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and fairly well sound-proofed although expect a bit of noise from the street. Everything seems new and high-quality in this hotel. The location is great as a base camp for Istanbul because transportation links are in abundance, although there are more interesting areas to explore in Istanbul than Taksim and even Beyoglu so do take advantage of the easily accessible tram/ funicular/ metro and buses.
As a light sleeper I was woken up because there were no blackout curtains so some light got through early in the morning, and there was some noise from the street. This was not a massive issue but on lower floors (I was on the 5th), noise may be a problem.
Good location Airport shuttle
Supernice hotel and very friendly staff. The location of the hotell was excellent.
Hotel of new construction and very safe. Quiet, sound-proofed, good AC and shower, good black-out curtains. I had dinner on two occasions and the food was excellent and well presented. A few steps from public transport in Taksim, convenient for visiting Sultanahmet. The shuttle service to and from the airport was reliable and I would recommend it.
The loction and the staff cooperation and help-but expensive
The size of the room and the bath room -there no place even to pray Breakfast acceptable but not much variety
the 2 pieces of chocolate that were gifted everyday after sunrise
Great location and good facilities.
The concierge was a very helpful and friendly woman but the rest of the staff seemed to see us as a burden and responded abruptly to all questions and requests. Not at all friendly.
Staff are not friendly
Good for staying couple of days to see the all the activities and shops and enjoy the crouded Taksim and Istiqlal street. I would like to thank Ilker from the reception staff for helping us on our chekout with an excellent attitude which really makes a difference.
The view from the room is against an old burned building. The crouded surroundings annoying sometimes. Taxis sometimes drop you far from the hotel as they find it difficult to reach it especially if the streets too crouded.
a good hotel in a good area
no facilties they didnt pick me up from the airport as they mentioned
too expensive for city like istanbul
This centrally located hotel is just a few steps from Taksim Square. All the things required to a tourist (Metro, taxi, shopping, restaurants etc.) are available at the door step. One can walk to the Taksim Square in the evening and spend some good time there. The Wi-Fi connection is fast. The room given to me was comfortable. Actually they gave an extra bed to my six years old daughter and a coat to my less than two years old daughter and still there was ample space for us to move around. Yet, the best thing was the cooperative staff. There was not even a single person with whom I have any complaint. However, I would like to acknowledge few individuals. Mr. Tarik, the manager, went out of the way to help us. Ms. Emine, the one who cleans the room, always had a pleasant smile on her face and the lady receptionist in the evening, I am sorry I have forgotten her name, was always supportive. I used wheelchair during my stay and would recommend all the wheelchair users to opt to stay at Midtown Hotel. The only problem perhaps is the entrance with big slope but the hotel staff was always there to help me with that slope.
Though most of the reviewers have all the praise for the breakfast but I did not enjoyed the breakfast to that extant. Probably the reason is that they only serve continental breakfast and I was more interested in traditional Turkish breakfast. So only the lovers of continental breakfast should opt for breakfast.
