The staff, excellent service. Delicious food. Nice bedroom cozy bed.

Our room had the most fantastic view, number 21. Make sure you get up at dawn to see the balloons going by. Every room an outdoor area with outdoor chairs - there's lot of terraces everywhere for you to sit. The hotel was perfectly located - at the top of the hill so with the best views over Goreme but only a 5min walk up from the centre of town.

The room needed more lights.

Everything was perfect! People, Location, Breakfast, friendliness, room, cleanliness, view from the hotel, ...

Overall it was great experience, living in a cave room. The hotel staff are friendly and are willing to help (if you ask for it) which is good because you dont people over indulging and making decisions for you. breakfast was great. Thank you mithra cave for a good and a memorable stay.

the only draw back is the climb to and fro from the town center but I was already aware of so wasnt that much of a hassle. Wifi is difficult to get inside the cave room(which is understandable) but right outside our room by the seating area wifi was available with great speed.

Good location. Walking distance to the city of Goreme. Quiet room. Staff is willing to be helpful but some of them have limited English capability.

Bathroom is somewhat limited. Lighting was partly working and was not fixed during our stay despite informing the staff. Some staff members had limited English capability.

I stayed in room 31 which was in another buiding. It wasn't a cave room but it was great nevertheless. The room is next to the road so in the morning there may be traffic, I didn't mind because I was up early anyway. In addition it had a fantastic view of the rose valley and in the morning the ballons passby right in front of the window. It has its own terrace with rock chair and coffee table, perfect for reading and have a sip of tea/coffee and watch the sunset after a hard day of walking. Staff was extremely kind and caring, organizating tours and offering advices for one to roam around if you are not into the tours. The terrace restaurant was faboulous, breakfast was excellent.

Shower was leaking, not major deal for me but the owner may want to watch their water bills.

Mithra Cave Hotel is located in Goreme, walking distance to the city centre. Breakfast is served on a nice terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and in the morning the hot air ballons flying. Staff was there to help us.

Our room was very small and basic. Bathroom had a broken light which was not substituted in 3 days. Breakfast was always the same. For 2 days, bread was not fresh. Not everyone could speak english very well. Lack of cleanliness of the room. They only made the bed and changed the towels No toiletries available, no tissues. Some general improvements are needed

Very efficient management, always eager to help finding best solutions for leisure time. Very good location, nice view of Goreme valley, close to several historical sites. Highly recommended.

We spent 9 days at the Mithra Cave while giving ourselves lots of time to explore magical Cappadocia, and it was the ideal choice. Because we were staying so long, they upgraded us to a 2-level suite--too much room for the two of us, but a big beautiful space with a great view out over Goreme. We especially enjoyed waking up every morning to the balloons floating over the town and the valleys beyond. It was comfortable, clean and very quiet (except for the call to prayer much too early in the morning from the 3 mosques nearby). The breakfasts were excellent. And the staff really made our stay special. Yusuf and Yuksel and Seher and Rasul and the rest of the team were so sweet and helpful, so friendly and affectionate. They were keen to advise us about things to do, and offered us rides to wherever we wanted to go (which would have been really useful if we didn't already have a rental car.) We had a fantastic time in Goreme and the Mithra Cave Hotel was a big part of it.

Large and nicely decorated room, great view from our room and especially from the breakfast-area, staff extremly friendly and helpful, nice breakfast buffet, good value for money, we will return to this hotel if we go back to Cappadocia.

For the first, I give my 100% satisfaction to a hotel! The room is very clean with special disign, nice food for breakfast. But what I appreciate most is the friendly personnel! When we arrive at 7 o'clock in the morning after a long night-bus journey, they came to pick us up at the bus station,let us check-in immediately and offered us the breakfast. Everytime when we need help or information they are always there with a lot of patience and smile!!! Another point + for this hotel, there's a nice terrace from where you can enjoy the spectacular view while having your breakfast or taking your tea.

I cannot say anything bad about this hotel. The room was clean, cozy and fancy. The view from the breakfast room was really fantastic. The staffs were really kind and especially the one ,who always helps us even though he cannot speak English very well, gave us really good impression about this hotel and Turkey. I will definitely chhose this hotel again if I go back to Cappadocia.

Staff were absolutely superb. They took wonderful care of us. Rooms were beautiful. Breakfast seemed mediocre at first but then we realized you could order eggs. I recommend the sucuk omelette! One of the staff made us homemade ayran as well and when we came home with a bottle of wine for the terrace we were surprised with a plate of cheese and nuts!

The water was not as hot as I would've liked, so I didn't end up using the jacuzzi tub. Otherwise would be a 10.

Amazing place .... The room facility is excellent, including the sauna. The staff the helpful and the location , view is fantastic.

Fantastic Hotel. Everything was perfect. Would recommend everyone to stay in this fabulous cave hotel.

Excellent view and location. We arrived at noon and Yusuf and his staff were very attentive and took care of everything we could need. They picked us up at Göreme bus drop off with a car, that took us on a 5 min trip to Mithra Cave. Our room was upgraded for free and everything you would expect on a top star hotel was there. The bathroom was huge, even with a yacuzzi. Also, we were very hungry…they recommended us some excellent restaurants and kindly sent us a complementary tea and pastry to the room some minutes after we arrived. The room was perfectly cleaned and silent. Outside temperature was 5 deg. but inside was warm and cozy. Breakfast is really good and the restaurant view is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and tours, guides, balloon flights could be arranged through them. If I come back to Cappadocia, I will stay again in Mithra Caves!

The localtion is perfect, probably the best location in Goreme. My friends and I all loved the rooftop restauarant cos the view is amazing. Staff are very very helpful and friendly, they helped arrange the airport transfer, day tour, balloon flight, meals..etc, I would recommend it to everyone who is travelling to Goreme

the only think is the wifi connection is very weak, we could hardly get any signal in our room, but I can understand cos all the rooms are built in the cave, I guess it's difficult to stronge signal.

Perfect hotel with cave decoration. Room is very big. Staff is quite friendly and helpful. All minibar is free. Good view at resturant.

Very friendly staff, amazing location, pick up and drop off to airport organised by hotel, trips as well, private sauna in the bathroom- Resul upgraded us to a Suite ;) i can highly recommend this hotel!

we love everything from the room with open fire to breakfast with a view and most of all the friendly staff! we will definitely come back!

Perfect view of the city and the jaccuzi in the room.

Our room was extremely noisy. It was right below the restuarant/ serving area and people started going to breakfast from early in the morning. It was impossible to sleep after 7:30 and it was very disturbing for us because we were there to relax and enjoy our holidays.

This is the coolest hotel we have ever lived in! The room is like a museum and the bathroom is definitely a surprise for us, far beyond our expectation! Besides, the restaurant is on the highest point of the village so we can see the whole valley during breakfast. The staffs were very helpful. Resul told us a lot about Cappadocia and Turkey & made yogurt for us in the morning;) They also drove us to the bus station when we left. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
