It is a small hotel and the manager gets to know the costumers personally and attend their needs. Thanks to him I even made new friends with fellow travelers.

It's far from Urgup (the main town in Cappadocia), so going out involved taxis that were not inexpensive.

We loved that the hotel was in a remote village where it was quiet and culturally interesting. However, I can see that this location may not work for everyone as it is mandatory to have a private vehicle to stay there, and the quiet setting, while perfect for what our taste, may not be for everyone.

Very limited food option for vegetarians. And, nowhere else in the vicinity to get food either.

what an amazing experience we had. the room or cave in which we stayed was 400 years old. amazing living there. the owners are such amazing people, not only did they make sure that our stay was comfortable but they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Yup! and it did feel like home with their warmth and generosity!

Amazing surroundings.. the hotel is the only hotel in the village and you pretty much wake up to surreal views of the mountainside and very cool refreshing weather. It is a very peaceful place where you can really get away from the hustle bustle of the city. For a female solo traveller, I find the village a very safe place. Food at the hotel is good too and fairly reasonable prices. The hotel owner and the staff are simply the most hospitable people around and goes the extra mile to make sure you feel safe and comfortable.

I didn't dislike anything. However, if you are seeking a location where convenience is necessary, then Monte Cappa may not be suitable as it is a good 20 minutes drive away from the main town of Urgup. But, I do find that that is indeed its charm.

Authentic troglodyte living at its best! Great environs, peaceful countryside all around. Good for outdoor activities including hiking, biking. Ideal for a relaxing holiday. And above all, affordable and great value for money. Breakfast was good, the omelette the best I had so far.

It's far out of Urgup, best to have own car or arrange a transfer with some local.

We stayed at Monte Cappa Cave House for 6 nights. We couldn't make a better choise for our honeymoon! Sleeping in cave rooms is amazing!!! Whole village of Karlik (the name of village where the accomodation is) is beautiful and authentic, but a little far from town, which is actually great, because you can feel the real atmosphere of living in an Cappadocian village. Our host, Tarkan, is one of the greatest people we've ever met! He arragned everything for us - tours, ride in the hot-air baloon, car rental, visiting nearby church, Turkish night...If you don't want to rent a car, Tarkan will arrange your transportation to Urgup before your tour or baloon ride. He is fantastic, very friendly and pleasant and he is one of the reasons that you will feel like you are at home. We really enjoyed spending time at Monte Cappa Cave House salon or terrace, amazing view! We strongly recommend everyone to visit this fabulos place! Zona&Nikola, Serbia

This is a first time that I am providing feedback on a hotel I have stayed in but I was so impressed and happy with my stay at the Monte Cappa that I thought I must share my great experience with you guys. The staff is amazing, very helpful and always there when you need them. I would like to thank the hotel owner Tarkan and his staff for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. The hotel is located in middle of a quiet village with very hospitable people and surrender by beautiful mountains. I would strongly recommend the cave house experience. We were there for 6 nights and I wish it was more...

    Nothing :-)

Cool and calm place. Mr. Tarkan is very nyce person. He arranged our ballon flight and other tours with really good prices and companies. Room is very good,i really liked it.

Location is very far away from goreme. They shd have some kind of shuttle service to urgup or goreme.these two towns are on a long distance from hotel.

Stay here for 2 nights and found this located a bit out of the town. But its not far at all to urgup, only 12 minutes. I have different experience of cappadoccia by staying here. The room was clean and decorated very Turkish ( i stayed in topuz room). the room is exactly like whats on the picture. The breakfast was so awesome! The 2nd morning tarkan made us a fried eggs with turkish sausage, taste sooo delicious. Tarkan was very helpful and friendly. He gave us information of what to see around with directions. Will def stay here again if i come to cappadocia.

Maybe the sounds of the mosque in the morning that made me awake.. But on 2nd nightw i already get used with it so it didnt bother me at all,,

Beautifully restored country house about 15 km from Urgup, in a small village, in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful sunset view in a gentle breeze. Restaurant on-site, not much choice, but prepared with care; obviously good local wine, unfortunately so rare to find in Turkey. The host entertained us with amiable conversation giving info on the site, villages, country life. Only 5 bedrooms, some of them of superior quality. Good value for money

The last room available was in a real cave, what at the first moment seems an interesting new experience, it has a drawback, which is the very high humidity (obviously it has to be so in a cave); however it is not so pleasant. This is partially compensated, though, by the beauty of the cave, ethnic furniture, and a shower room that merits in itself the experience of a long warm shower

    The breakfast

The place is isolated (my fault as I should have looked at the map before booking). This made us dependent for local travel arrangements untill we rented a car.
