The hotel is a five-minute, flat walk (i.e. no uphill) from the otogar. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are large. Breakfast items are plentiful, with fruits, cheeses, cereals, pastries, eggs, and bread. Tea is brewed, coffee is instant, and juices are bottled. The restaurant is on the top floor and provides a decent view of the area. There are restaurants, cafes, and small grocery stores nearby. Sunset point is about 15 minutes on foot.
The fitted spa/tub often leaks water onto the floor. The string-LED lights do not illuminate the room well.
The best was the view of the room. The breakfast view had also an incredible landscape, and the food was good too. The location is great, near everything.
I chose this room because it said that it had hot tub, but it was not working, and when I asked to the personal, they didn't take any decision about it.
This was a total disappointment. We were planing to visit Capadocia for long time. This was absolutely not the hotel we were expecting. It is not well kept and properly cleaned. The breakfast was awful. I am ashamed to see such a place in a beautiful place like Capadocia....
Everything was worthy and i recommend them, food, service, room etc. Run by 2 brothers for their parents. One brother the younger i think was very special, nice , thoughtfull, gracious and fun. He even shared his apple with me. He was like most people i meet in Turkey..great people, special.
The brother who checked us in, the older i think...was not so nice or thoughtfull. Really needs ro work on his people skills and hospitality. Not so friendly or helpfull. Did not represent the hotel well.
Nothing. After how the manager spoke to us, it was just a bad experience overall.
The manager Umit was very disrespectful to us as we were two women travelling. He asked us offensive questions and made us feel very uncomfortable. He also passed nasty comments and did not even say it like a joke. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, very indecent manager. Even though the rooms are ok here, there are much better hotels in Cappadocia that you can opt from. This was the only place In turkey that we had such a Terrible experience.
The breakfast spread .
We book 2 rooms and check in with following conditions :- 1) 1 room with broken dressing table mirror which give an uncomfortable feelings. 2) Other room with broken shower screen that when showering, wet the floor and causes a near fall due to slippery wet floor. 3) Service provider attitude was poor as he keep up-selling tour package with hot air balloon. When we do not wish to take up. He gives bad remarks which make our stay very uneasy. He was unethical that when we book outside tour which he came to know about as the tour company call to leave message, he keep asking us to cancel our bookings and take from him instead.
The location was great; right at the heart of Goreme but still can sleep comfortably. The bed was big enough for 2, the air conditioner was perfect and most importantly very close to Topdeck restaurant, a must visit. The hotel overall was very welcoming.
The breakfast was ok. Nothing special.
My wife and I loved the tranquil environment of Roma Cave Suite. The King Suite was amazing and the Jacuzzi/hot tub in the room was great. Umit and his staff did a great job making us feel welcome and ensuring our anniversary was not only romantic, but trouble free.
The stand up shower in the King Suite had a broken door. No real worry though since the Jacuzzi/hot tub worked great to keep clean. There is WiFi throughout the hotel, but just in the outside areas. There was no WiFi in the rooms exactly(except sitting very close to the door), but that's more than likely because they're cave rooms with stone walls.
The location is central and the external appearance is good. The view from the restaurant terrace is great.
We booked a cave suite, the bedroom was fine, the bathroom was really dark and damp. The shower had seen better days and didn't work too well. The spa bath was so big it filled the entire room. Somehow it seemed wrong in such a drought affected area too. Breakfast was average with some old cheese and poor coffee. We also dinner but there is no restaurant as advertised and was a very expensive 20 euro per head for a simple salad, soup and meat stew.
There has been some misunderstandings with the staff but after some arguments we reached a good deal
Location is near to all the restaurants and shops. Really love the place.
Everything was great about our stay. Umit, the manager of the hotel contacted us before our stay and was there outside to greet us after arriving from the airport. He made sure everything was comfortable for us and helped book our tours. He also communicated our airport transfer to his staff when he wasn't there the next night to make sure we were taken care of. The room was huge with an awesome spa bathroom. Very cute cave suite and a traditional Turkish breakfast included!
Breakfast was good but a little more meats would help
this was just like a dream! the cave rooms carved in rocks were extremely beautiful and very comfortable! with a jaccuzi in the bathroom to wash off the fatigue from hiking around beautiful Goreme and cappadocia all of this is nothing compared to the extreme friendliness and help offered by the manager Umit, starting before arriving to the hotel when he answered my email giving more suggestions and recommendations, to arranging our activities and wishes after we arrived to getting proactive and offering us options and alternatives when our balloon flight was cancelled due to bad weather (the only mishap in the whole trip!) He even drove us a coupe of times in his car for some activities close by. Breakfast in this hotel was the best we had (we stayed in turkey for three weeks and travelled all over) I really cannot fault this hotel for anything, not only would I stay there again if I go back to cappadocia, but this is the standard of hotel I would judge other places against! I give it a full 10/10!
absolutely nothing to hate here!
The staff was very helpful at Roma caves. We reached Goreme in the morning @ 7:00 ish and they offered us a room to relax and freshen up before we headed for our tour. Also on the next day after checking out, when we returned from the day tour around 17:00 hours, they again provided us with a room to freshen up. The staff was really kind and helped us throughput. It is not a very big hotel and yes value for money hotel.
Interesting way the place is built in to the "fairy chimneys". Very nice bkfst buffet.
Poor WiFi signal except near reception main area.
Wi fi not strong .
the location of the hotel, the cleanness of the rooms and the traditional breakfast was great thank you very much guys :)
Location was close to town. Saff themselves were excellent. Low cost.
The rooms were falling apart and smelled bad. Lost water 2 times. Lighting in the rooms was poor.
I liked that the rooms were typically cave-like. The location was good, right on the main street. Breakfast was basic but you could order fried eggs if you preferred. I stayed at a budget place in Cappadocia before and feel that Roma Cave Suite is a bit overpriced for what you get. My room at the budget hotel was very similar and had the same breakfast and extras.
The pics of the hotel look way better than the actual place. I guess that's because of the awesome lighting in the pics. It's not false advertising but it is a little misleading. The rooms (we had a deluxe) was a decent size. The showers that look so cool in the pics are not that great. You have to walk up loads of stairs to get to breakfast.
The manager of the hotel is really friendly and enough flexible to accept our requests. And location of the hotel is perfect! We can easily access to the hill which we can look around the landscape of Gyoreme.
The staff here is really nice. Mert Eren almost helps us about everything. The Green and Red tour he recommended met our expectation. He even drove us to the bus station at the end of stay. In addition, the room is really nice. The Sauna function in the bathroom adds more comfort to my stay.
THe staff was very kind. and the location was really good and it has good view in the room. If I visit the Gereme again. I would want to visit this hotel again. Thanks for your kind Mert!!!
The water taste was really different between other place. I think it was affected by the area... And WIFI
The note is excellent. Wonderful place to spend your honeymoon at. The hotel staff had a family atmosphere and were extreamly helpful and ready to help with any request. Would good recommend it anytime. Not to mention the location was right at the center close to everything, other hotels were farther up te rock cliff. Loved this place...
The breakfast was ok, even though it's not buffet. The location is good, has lots of restaurants and bars nearby.
In 3 nights, the room was never cleaned. Judging by the photographs, I was expecting a more glamorous hotel.
