Mövenpick Hotel Izmir  

Location is great.

Stain on sheets. It was disgusting. You pay a pretty enough money and in the morning you realize a huge stain on your sheet. Also housekeeping was poor, they forgot to put toilet paper and napkins to our bathroom. I will not prefer this hotel chain for my second trip.

Fairly nice Hotel, friendly atmosphere.

It´s a nice Hotel, but 5 stars, is overrated, the Water temperature in shower is unstabil, the amentities are mediocre, small tv, small rooms. Only 2 elevators (expect short waiting time).

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel, it was another enjoyable visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is handy to a nice area of Izmir. I like that internet is included in the room price. I will continue to use this hotel as I prefer it over the 'Tall competor" Hotel up the street.

I like the Location a lot and the staff as well.

Need larger room service menu, and option for just a cold buffet breakfast instead of full buffet price.

We spent the last day of our Turkish tour in this hotel because we want to have an absolutely relax. In fact it satisfied our requirement. Nice location close to sea and comfortable rooms, also urbanity staff.

They could not connect the Wifi on the Sunday

Location of the hotel is in the center of Izmir sea side making it perfect for accessing many restuants and coffee shops. Staff were helpful in general.

The hotel has no car parking in the same premises and althouhg the Hotel agreed to pay the parking charges, the check out manager was upset and argued about it. Also, once booked, the hotel charges you on Euro then on check out they balance it against Turkish Lira value on check out which may at some time be very high against guests due to currency fluctuations specialy if the booking is done long in avance. Luckly in my case the difference was insignifcant.

Wonderful, helpful staff. The rooms had all the amenities required, very clean and comfortable.

The music in both the bar and the restaurant was really annoying. A five star venue should have something more stylish than pop videos banging away. We wanted a lovely drink, to relax and enjoy the wonderful view but decided not to stay because of the music. Likewise the restaurant downstairs. No one else was there either, maybe that was why? Also was looking forward to a swim but on a hot summer day, dealing with a small indoor pool was a bit disappointing.
