On a narrow, cobbled street leading to the Galata Tower, Nar Galata Hotel is in a traditional wood building. With free-Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk, it offers simple, air-conditioned rooms.

Just half a mile from Istanbul's lively Taksim Square, Hotel Villa Zurich offers sweeping Bosporus views from its rooftop terrace. The pleasant Sur Fish Restaurant serves fish specialties.

Very kind staff, excellent location and clean rooms.
We did not have the big room we saw in the photos. I really do not know if this turned out to be a good thing or a bad. Moreover, the hit was turned on all day & night. I asked for some help but I did not get it.
The room was very clean and new. The bed was very comfy and huge. The breakfast was ok to good. It kept us going each day. The location was really good, just off taksim and near to the galata tower. there are so many shops, cafe, restaurant around the hotel.
At the time we stayed, there was some construction going on at the hotel. It was quite noisy and the room wall was quite thin. we could hear people going up/down stairs.
Great location and friendly staff. The rooftop has an amazing view over the Galata Tower and Sultanahmet.
While well designed, our - and as we were told all other - bathrooms have glass walls facing the bedroom with no door. This is highly odd and utterly inconvenient as we were a group of friends travelling. One has to ask the others to leave the entire bedroom in order to have some privacy.
Perfectly located near Galata tower and hardly a minute walk from the Galata Tower. Right next to the cobbled street with tons of shopping options that are better priced than Grand Bazaar or ant other location. That street goes all the way to Takshim Square and an evening stroll through these small shops is a nice way to spend not so busy evening. Staff is very courteous, speaks English and is very considerate.
No lift in the building given this is a very old building. Little bit difficult to figure out the location the first time, even by the Taxi driver. The best way is to get down at Galata Tower and ask someone from the hotel to pick you from there (hardly two minutes walk from there).
wi-fi is good. room is good and clean.
some staff needs to learn english. The location is not very near from tourist spots, you need to ride taxi to reach them.
This is a lovely boutique hotel with very friendly accommodation g staff. Close to Istanbul's public transportation and near the cool Taxim district. This place comes highly recommended!
Construction next door that started later in the morning
Position Staff Rooms Quietness Cleanness
No sweets at breakfast (pies, muffin, biscuits) Heater that turn off when you are out because it works with electricity
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, towels changed daily. Close to Istiklal Street and metro station. Nice area.
Only Turkish TV, no satellite or cable TV. Limited breakfast selection. Due to location, the hotel is divided into different buildings so we had four different rooms in four different buildings but this wasn't really a problem for us.
Close proximity to tourist area in Galata. Plenty of reasonable food price restaurant, close to Metro stations), nice breakfast with several selection for kids available. The staff are friendly helping the costumer getting up or down from the hotel floor to the ground level since the building that i stayed does not have an elevator.
I was looking for room which can accommodate 6 people but was given a room for 4 people. The toilet in the bedroom does not have a door and no heater in the bedroom. The hotel location is not easy to find even by local taxi.
Staff offered alternative due to heating. excellent location. friendly and accommodating staff.
breakfast quite ample but need to be kept warm, not good heating, the entrance to the appart had a bad smell of cats piss.
The location of the hotel is a good one.
They gave us a room with basically no heat and no hot water. We had to spend 1 day like this before they changed our room.
The hotel consist of few nice renovated 130 years old buildings on a quiet street. Spacious room, service of desk employees very helpful and friendly, price is not too overrated. 5 minutes walking distance to Istiklal Street.
We stayed here one night this December. Really lovely hotel, friendly staff and good location. The breakfast was just amazing!! Lots of new local treats to try. Brilliant!!
Location was great! We were just few minutes away from Taksim and Galata Tower. Very close to great coffee bars and one of the best Jazz Bars in town - Nardis.
When we arrived at the hotel they switched our room.We payed for a triple superior room, instead they gave us a family room which wasn't that comfortable at all. The safe wasn't working, they lights went out that night couldn't charge our phones and it was very hard to communicate with the staff as their English was very bad. The next day we insisted to get the room that we already payed for few weeks before arrival.
all is great for what you paid
the brakfast can be served at better place rather than the basement.
Person on reception was really ok and helpful.
Cleaning lady took out toilet paper and my socks.
The girl (Pelin) at the reception was very nice and helpful
The smell in the bathroom
This hotel was conveniently located 2 minutes from Galata Tower. It was on a quiet, cute street with some great little restaurants with home cooked food available. The staff were helpful with directions at the hotel. It was clean and good value for the price.
It's a nice little hotel. Located in a center close to Galata tower, but street is very small, even taxi drivers can't find it. Wifi connection was good and staff reacted on our requests very fast.
There were some constraction works outside the hotel, so in the morning we couldn't sleep enough. More than that the soundproofing inside the hotel was missing as well. We could hear how other guests closing the doors and going up on stairs. It was really disturbing. Also when we arrive our safe box didn't work as well as a phon and we had just 2 hangers in a wardrobe, the room was booked for 3 person. Reception was nice and fixed everything very fast except the phon, they couldn't do anything about it. And also one day we left the key from the room on the reception desk and it was lost there. Nobody knew who took it, it was one of the last days, but we were scared about it. It was a regular key not a magnit one, so anybody could open the do and enter our room. Breakfast was ok, but it always was lack of something, coffe, bread, egs, clean tables, exc. You have to ask employees to take dirty dishes or even bring it to the kitchen.
We loved our stay here!
Staff reception manager Big rooms and very clean
The two bedrooms apartment I booked was in the 7th floor and no elevEller the taxi driver speaks to hotel for direction otherwise you spend hours to locate
Helpful staff with nice breakfast and well-furnished room. Easy access to metro and other attractions.
Very thin walls with lots of street noise and overheard conversations from adjacent rooms. Housekeeping was sloppy with not all towels replaced.
Spacious rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff
All execelent. Very helpfull staff and very good service.
TV and phone not working Breakfast not something special....
