This hotel (Nena) was one the best hotels we stayed at. Everything was perfect. The cleanliness, hospitality, location are just perfect for everyone. A special thanks to Mehmet, Mustafa, Muzaffar and Farooq for all their services, love and sincere hospitality. The rooms were kind of small. Not a problem because most of the hotels in Turkey have small rooms.

The hotel has best location to stay because of its location and view of Sultanahmet Masjid, Topkapi palace etc, and highly recommended to prefer this hotel, as any one can easily approach or visit the famous historical spots and market for shopping it is located centrally, all other facilities are available at just walkable distance, such as local tram, bus station and for metro etc....!! Hotel has best rooms and too friendly staff who are always ready to help and assist the guest with pleasing and kindness. They even guide you to how to interact with local vendors and which places to visit and how. that is best part and the most appreciated response from any hospatality industry............!! I Thank All Of Them For There Warm Gesture and Best Service.

The Hotel was spotless and bedrooms very comfortable. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to help with directions and booking taxis etc. the restaurant staff are equally helpful. They are all obviously well trained but have a genuine desire to help, they are attentive without being overbearing. A happy team I think. My Turkish partner is not usually impressed by hotels but was delighted with our stay at Nena. We will stay here again. I would like a nozzle on the hairdryer but that's a mere nothing!

Les gens sont super sympa, et ils vous aident souriantes et effectif. Nous avons change de chambre trois fois, sans probleme et souriants. It is no question, it is a pleasure to go to Turkey because of the people and the hotel was no exemption, always smiling and helpful. They always came with solutions to our questions. At the end we stayed instead of 3 nights, 7 nights.. We told them that in some rooms ( not all) one could hear the neighbours, and in March they start with the insonorisation. We also told them that an armchair would be nice. The restaurant does not use herbs or spices, so it is as another of the tourist restaurants, no good.

As a 26 year old female traveling alone, safety, comfort and location were my top priorities when choosing a hotel. Hotel Nena fit the bill! Hotel Nena is incredibly comfortable and safe. The staff members were friendly and fluent in Turkish and English. The hotel rooms were a good size, clean, and well decorated. Plenty of room for luggage. A short walk to all of the main sites in Sultanahmet - Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar. And close to the tram line that goes to Taksim Square. I would suggest this hotel to friends and family. If the price fits your budget, I would stay in this hotel. There was no gym. Not a problem for me as I was walking around town everyday.

It's a very comfortable hotel in the heart of down town. If you want a hotel near to the big monuments, the tramway near by you and a breakfast delicious on the roof garden, I recommend the Hotel Nena, without inhibitions. Thanks to hotel stuff. Everybody are wonderful.

The hotel is located in the middle of everything and close to some nice restaurants. The staff was friendly and when we asked to change our room away from the street, it was no problem. It could be hard to fall a sleep due to the noize from the hallway. We prefere carpets in the hallway and in the rooms to keep the noize to a minimum. The rooms are a bit small and the breakfast was not more than okay. Could use more pastry and slices of cheese.

The room was very clean, sheets were so comfortable, staff was very curtious, and they tried to do everything they could to make our stay as relaxing and easy going as possible. Not used to this high level of service even back in the U.S. Definitly would stay here again. Would like to try the deluxe rooms next time for the larger balcony.

Location is wonderful, within 10 mins walk to Haja Sophia and almost everything in Sultanahmet. Close to tram station and restaurants. Breakfast is great, and hotel staffs are very helpful and kind. Room facing street is quite noisy, all day long, can hear loud noise from cars, trash pick up, and noise from hotel hallway.

Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Staff supremely attentive, and Mehmet must be mentioned for his outstanding service at the front desk ... and beyond. Superb Sultanahmed location, yet very quiet, close to everything, including the "must see" historical sites. Spacious ground level common area to relax.

“The hotel was clean and food was really good, sightseeing was within easy reach from the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and they booked our restaurants/ taxis / transport to places we wished to visit outside the area. One member of staff who deserves recognition and went far beyond the call of duty was a young man called Fikret. We are so thankful for his honesty & support with a problem we had (self inflicted) and cannot praise him enough.” |carol, Uzumlu Fethiye |
