Hotel Nena is charming, friendly, clean and comfortable. They serve a fine breakfast buffet, and a late afternoon "tea" with an assortment of tasty foods, both included in the room rate. The hotel is on a quiet side street, but is a few steps away from Istanbul's excellent tram and is a few minutes' walk from the major attractions of the old city -- the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and Grand Bazaar are all within easy walking distance, as are a number of good restaurants. The hotel also provides one free shuttle trip either from or to the airport. I was very pleased with Hotel Nena and would happily stay there again.

I have stayed at the hotel Nena before. It is an excellent small hotel. The service is excellent. They are most accomodating. I needed a 2:45 a.m. wake up call to make an international flight at 5:30. They offered to prepare food for me since I would be missing the breakfast buffet. They had a cab ready and waiting at 3:15. The view from the roof top restaurant is the best. One can walk to any of the sights in the Sultanahmet area in a few minutes.

Fantastic service by the hotel staff...warm welcome with snacks and drinks was a nice touch. Clean facility. Ideal and safe location in the Sultanahmet district...walking distance to all the main attractions, food, shopping, etc. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and free wifi. Free shuttle service from the airport. Without a doubt, the Hotel Nena exceeded our expectations.

We usually do not write reviews. But we always read reviews before selecting the hotel :-) Hotel Nena is truly exceptional which made us to write this review. The hotel location is perfect. You can enjoy the view of Blue Mosque from the terrace restaurant. They have got great interiors and classy furniture. The service and friendliness of staff is really good and they are so helpful. We booked an economy double room but got an upgrade of room on arrival. The choice of items for breakfast was good, compared to other hotels we stayed at. There was even free snacks available between 5-7 PM. When our flight got delayed for a day, British Airways was not able to find any accommodation for us. We contacted Hotel Nena and they went out of their way to arrange us a room in the middle of the night and even at a lower price. We will definitely return if we ever visit Istanbul again.

Very nice and friendly staff. This hotel is located as the center; you can not not closer than this. Breakfast is nice but not supergood. The view from the terracce is stunning! They offer a taxi service ar a reasonable price. I moved to a different localtion afterwards in Istanbul because I had a fixed reservation (and my girlfriend wanted the spa;-)) but still used the service from Hotel Nena as they were much cheaper and were very reliable!

Next time I would take a room with a window to the outside. The rooms to the inside are too loud as you can hear the ac system in the inner hall. This might be more expensive but wort it.
