Room size was very small
Perfect location for touristic places and very clean and comfortable well-decorated rooms.
It was not a traditional Turkish breakfast.
1-Breakfast in the garden 2-Attention to detail in the hotel decor 3- Very comfy room and bathroom 4- Very clean 5- A very attentive and welcoming family was running this hotel
Nothing to add
very typical decoration in room. beautiful courtyard. good breakfast. helpful and English speaking staffs!
not far from the bus station, but not easy to find the hotel and not easy for walking with lugagges, because we have to walk uphill and downhill. it is only not convience for the first time arrival, because the hotel will arrange car to send you to the station when you are leaving. only offers breakfast, we have to have lunch and dinner in Hotel Bellar.
We loved this hotel. The décor of the room was lovely and it was very clean. The outside seating area a wonderful place to sit and relax while having our breakfast or a quiet drink in the evening. The hotel is linked to a sister hotel 'Bella Hotel' a few minutes walk away. The hosts from there came to see us when we first arrived and were able to give us lots of information about getting to the nearby sights and organised our transport to them. As guests at Nilya we were able to go to the roof top restaurant at Bella for our evening meal. The food was delicious. We also visited the carpet and ceramics shop linked to the hotel. The service was in no way pushy, but was friendly and informative. I would love to return to Nilya Hotel.
The hotel has a very beautiful garden. The room is decorated with traditional Turkish style. Having breakfast in the garden is really a great experience! The fried egg is really special by the way!
Everything about Hotel Nilya was lovely. From the gracious welcome by Erdahl (one of the owners), to the elegantly decorated rooms, to the gorgeous setting steps away from St. John's Basilica, to the convenient shuttle ride to/from Ephesus, to the hospitality of the staff ... This was a stay we won't forget. Everyone in our group agreed that we'd love to return to Selcuk for future vacations, and that Hotel Nilya would be our choice of accommodation.
Our only regret was that our stay was so short! (one night)
It is a clean and in a good position in the city.
The staff could be more friendly.
Shady courtyard for breakfast or drinks or just sitting. Very helpful staff. Very clean
The friendly and accommodating staff, proximity to the sights and unique Turkish home feeling make this hotel a great pick for when you're visiting Ephesus!
This hotel is wonderful! It is a family run business in which everyone we encountered was fantastic! We had a very limited time in this location and the hotel arranged an airport pick up, sight tours, dinner and an airport drop off all at the last minute. They were all exceptional! The accommodation is nothing fancy but very charming, very clean, well located and staffed with outstanding people!
When we missed an early shuttle, the hotel owner personally provided us with transit from the hotel to our sites of interest. The hotel staff was cheerful, helpful, and friendly. The character and charm of the hotel and courtyard is really unique. Bountiful breakfast in the garden courtyard was a daily delight!
Beautiful courtyard, lovely breakfast. Authentic Turkish decor. Very helpful staff and extremely well maintained. We would go back anytime.
Courtyard was great and WiFi was available there.
Breakfast. More variety. Had same thing each morning.
Beautiful traditional Turkish design hotel and furnishings, with a lovely garden courtyard.
perfect location for everything we wanted to do. it was away from the buzzing centre of Dalyan but still close enough not to be isolated. 2minute walk. Breakfast looking at the estuary and the tombs was wonderful
rooms were basic but then we didnt plan on much more anyway
The hotel was very attractive with spacious rooms that were decorated very well. The staff was very friendly and the owners of Nilya and Hotel Bella, an associated hotel, were most helpful. They offered and we used their guide books to Ephesus. The ceramic and rug store at the Hotel Bella also provided an opportunity to shop easily with friendly and not pushy sales help.
Very pleasant setting and breakfast courtyard. Accommodating and attentive staff. Quiet and excellent location to good shopping, restaurants and historic sites. Other than breakfast, we were independent travelers who preferred finding our own in-town restaurants and shopping, which were excellent, rather than make use of those associated with the hotel.
Parking somewhat difficult, although staff works hard to overcome this by free shuttle service to and from Ephesus. Rooms a bit dark and small.
Nilya Hotel is close to what you will want to see in Selçuk. They have a shuttle to Ephesus, but it is close enough to walk if you are ambitious (ambitious in the summer because it is hot).
The walls in this hotel are thin - really really thin. We could hear everyone around us, including the evening arguments that the staff had the two nights that we stayed there. The staff will help you if you ask them something specific, however, they won't go out of their way to help you with much. This did not seem to be the case with their sister property, which was literally around the corner on the next street. We should have stayed there.
Super-caring attitude of Erdal, the owner-manager. He sent us advance information that helped me a lot to plan our stay in detail, ahead of time, so that I could enjoy our actual stay. He also gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants. Their shop in the Bella Hotel has many beautiful and reasonably-priced ceramic tiles.
The Staff at both Nilya & Bella were extremely helpful and well organized to help us not only with our stay, they were also able to organize expert guide and tour of Ephesus and other sites of significance. The hotel has a great friendly feeling, I would choose this for a return visit and recommend highly to others
Pleasant, quiet setting and easy to get into town
The cost. We felt it was not good value for money. For that price we should at least have got a TV in our room.
Cosy peaceful oasis but close to the historical centre. Traditional Turkish ambiance especially garden and rooftop restaurant
there was a sewage smell coming from the toilet which became noticeable on our second day there.
This is a lovely hotel, in a quiet location with well decorated rooms and close to everything in Selcuk. Owners and staff are very attentive, driving guests to Ephesus and for us, stopping so we could pick up some lunch on our way. Breakfast was very good. Also, recommend having dinner at their other hotel, very good food in a roof top restaurant.
