Hotel Staff were very nice. Hotel managment takes very good care of guests. Nippon must be the best 4 stars hotel in Istanbul Internet wireless needs to be improved. |

Trendy hotel, comfortable and quiet hotel room with tasteful design, very friendly and helpful staff, a highly varied and high quality breakfast buffet. Upon arrival, I received a present (a fruit basket) and a welcome letter by the hotel manager. Hotel is centrally located near Taksim Square (the central area for shopping, dining, and clubbing). I made a reservation for a non-smoking room but got a smoking room. When I asked to change rooms on my second day, it was no problem to do so, but due to a busy conference schedule it didn't work out to practically arrange this. So it is best to double-check upon check-in. |

Excellent central location. Friendly and helpful staff. Modern and well-equipped room. Stayed as a family on a leisure trip. Hotel probably more suited to business, though we found it perfect. |

The Nippon Hotel was in the perfect location for traveling the city, public transportation is less than a 5 minute walk away. The bus service to/from the airport runs every half our and is within a 2 minute walk of the hotel, cost is 10 Turkish Lire. The breakfast is adequate and the rooms were very clean. There's also a lovely restaurant just outside the hotel towards the main street. My only complaint was that when I booked the hotel, I chose this one in particular because they were offering free shuttle service from the airport if you stayed three or more nights. I tried to contact the hotel several times with no response. When we phoned, they notified us that they're only offering shuttle service for people who'd booked four or more nights. The one thing they forgot to mention was that their "free" shuttle service would cost us 40 Turkish Lire! |

The staff always smiled at you and ready to help you. Not many spoke well Enlish but I managed to communicate well with them. Very friendly staff. Internet access was good. Poor room insulation allowed noise into the rooms. So when people talked in the corridor outside their rooms you were able to listen to the whole conversation and obvioulsy wake you up. Air conditioning facilities were inefficient and old. The TV had a background noise and the selection of English channels was precarious.The business center needs to improve by providing beter computer and printing facilities. |

The hotel staff were friendly and always spoke to you when they saw in in corridor, lift, and so on. The reception desk was efficient. A newspaper was delivered for first two days but not for rest of the week. The hotel in conveniently placed for sightseeing and for airport bus but can be a little noisy - a higher floor probably better. |

The location Worth a 3 stars , not a four stars . On top of this , the room is design but there no space to arrange your clothes , so finally you need to leave with an open luggage in your room |

Location, staff, cleanliness. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is very central and great for shopping also.We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel and will recommend it to anyone. Will stay there again if travelling to Istanbul again. |

Location was excellent, near shopping and restaurant area of Istanbul and lively city at night. Hotel does not have good well for their customers, as they refused to give us the free hotel transfer upon check out of the Hotel. Lack of coordination among staff in meeting the Guest's needs. Limited English channels in the Rooms. Air conditioners in the room were not cooling at all. Some curtains were getting stuck in the Room. |

Lighting in room very bright and no posibility to dim. Only 2 very poor lamps in room and very poor or no bedside lamps. Decor not practical specially in suite 805 where there are a table and 4 little chairs not highter than 30 cm from the floor. How will a business traveller be able to work there?? |

The location is quite convenient and very close to Taksim Square, Istiklal Street, and Taksim metro station. Restaurants, shops, and all transportation means are very close by. Furthermore, I have to pass my great compliments to Ms Gizem, the receptionist, who was very helpful, understanding, friendly, and always smiling when coming accross customers, during our stay at Nippon Hotel. If you are a new comer, I recommend you wait for Ms Gizem to be the one to check you in and service you. It worths it:) The rooms and restaurant are not clean. Coffee cups are forgotten unwashed on the restaurant tables and inside the bedrooms. The counters inside bedrooms and toilets are left not wiped. Some cleaners would beg for tips despite the fact that their not doing their cleaning job fully and professionally! |

The friendly and professional attitude of the reception staff especially Miss Serayn Sulu and Miss Gizem Itek. It's strange that a 4 star hotel couldn't provide an iron and an iron board to the hotel guests. |
