I stayed here with my mum for 2 days and then myself for one. The hotel is extremely close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Moreover, it is extremely clean too. Though ppl complained about the small bathroom, I am actually surprising to find that the bathroom is definitely on the big side during our stay in Turkey, but the price is definitely on the cheap side. The breakfast is delicious, all staff are very nice and friendly. All in all, I would totally recommend this hotel to just anyone who wants to visit Istanbul.

If you don't know the way, it could be a bit tricky to get around the small alleys in the old town to get to the hotel.

We were on the four-day holiday in Istanbul - my wife, my mother-in-law and myself. Hotel Novano is the best place for stay here, because you enjoy everything - the convenient location for sightseeing, wonderful restaurants, shopping and friendly staff at the hotel, who are a great help in all situations. We have enjoyed clean rooms and good breakfast. In case we are in Istanbul again, we will be sure to be back at this cosy and comfortable hotel. Thanks a lot to the whole Novano staff and special regards to Ali and Mahir, managers at the reception desk.

We would prefer the hotel to have an elevator.

The location was excellent, the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, the beakfast was good.

There is no elevator, you can hear the other rooms, the shower of one of our rooms was broken, the blancket is so thin.

We stayed an extended period of time at Hotel Novano (10 days) and have very little to complain about. The staff was friendly, the hotel was kept clean, much was within walking distance including some of the best restaurants (although we thought the restaurants were a bit overpriced). Hotel Novano was not. It was a good value.

Walking up to the top floor after walking around all day puts the finish line just that much further, but that is minor. The pillows were way too thick, but the staff got us new thinner ones after asking. The rooms ceilings are not high which makes the room size (which isn't big) seem even smaller.

The location was very convenient, close to the Blue Mosque and the Haghia Sophia. The staff was terrific, very friendly and helpful, booking shuttles from/to the airport, offering complimentary umbrellas during a torrential downpour, and more. The rooms were clean and nice, breakfast had a good variety, including eggs made to order. We would definitely stay here again.

Bathroom was a bit cramped and the walls were a little thin, but not enough to be a big problem.

Helpful and friendly reception.location is on the heart of the old city (sultanhamet).

We found that the bathroom is a little bit small.

I often visit Istanbul and the hotel has been my Istanbul Home for the last 3 visits and I will return again in future. I love the area around the hotel, the hotel is small but very cosy and excellent value for money. The staff (reception and in the dining room) is very polite and friendly, willing to assist in every possible way. The breakfast is good and the dining room is beautifully decorated. The free wifi is very good (fast and easy to connect) and the AC in the bedrooms exceptionally good. Thanks to the owner and staff for a lovely stay once again.

    Nothing, liked everything.

Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast included and value for money.

A little more hanging space would have been good, but fine for a 2 night stay.

The location is excelent, close to major attractions in Sultanahmet. The street is full of restaurants and cafes with great views from the top. The room was pretty clean.

The rooms are rather small. The pillows are awfull but the staff was helpful and they provided better ones on request. The towels are old and torn. More hangers would be nice especially for long stays.

The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. The service is great. The room is clean and cosy. The hotel is quiet. The hotel is 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque or St Sofia Basilica on foot (or 2 hours if you stop into the Arasta bazar on your way...)

very centrally located, very clean, friendly and helpful personell, , breakfast was a standard buffet but o.k., Sultanahmet is a very nice quarter at all

single room was fairly small, w-lan could have been faster, not quite easy to find the hotel at the first time when you are not familiar with Sultanahmet, probably a little bit to expensive referring to the room size and the provided services

Great location (just 5 min walk from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia) and 10 min walk from Grand Bazaar. also close to Sultanahmet tram station which has a direct connection with the subway coming from Ataturk airport. Regarding the hotel the staff was nice, the breakfast was good and the hotel is very clean. The hotel is also close to some nice restaurants and the departure point of coty tour buses (Big bus hop on hop off).

Tha walls are quite thin and you can hear everything from the next room.but after one say of walking in Instanbul you may not hear anything during the night.

it was wonderful to be in Sultanahmet and able to walk over to the Blue Mosque before bed every night. Tram stops are not too far away. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with traditional Turkish feta, cucumber, tomato, and yogurt, plus an omelet made on the spot, as well as other delicacies.

Traffic noise is unpleasant in rooms on streetside, but the air conditioner and the curtains reduce it a bit.
