The hotel is located in a small village of Ortahisar, some 5-10 km from Goreme Open Air Museum. Is is calm place with a nice rock castle within a walking distance from the hotel. It is very easy to drive around Capadocia from here and visit all the natural beauties. We stayed in a hotel for 2 nights in April and really enjoyed it. We had 2 cave rooms - both with a real charm, nice furniture and it was warm inside even if the nights were really cold at that time. Fatma, the manager of the hotel was amazing, prepared wonderful breakfast every morning and gave us many recommendations about the area. If we come back one day, we would definitely stay here again.

Fatma hanim, Nuray hanim and Mustafa bey made our stay in the hotel unforgettable. Clean rooms, great breakfast with pleasant conversations. Highly recommended.

Some decor could be updated. Looks like they re used some furnishings from an older hotel
The staff was great! Good location within this village

The hotel was overpriced for the quality. The room was not very clean, and the beds were uncomfortable. The hammam inside the hotel was closed. The breakfast had inadequate choices. We had to gop elsewhere to have breakfast althoough it was included in the price.
The hotel was in a convenient location with easy acess to nearby attractions. The staff was helpful when asked for something.

When we had to leave that place and go back to reality...
Beautiful, calm and cool rooms. Wonderful hosts, very gentle and kind. And amazing food, fresh from their garden !

Cave rooms are quite cool but still not cool enough For our liking. A fan would have been good considering no-one in Cappadocia uses air conditioning.
The property was lovely for my toddler to run around and play. The staff were fantastic and let him pick vegetables from the garden. The breakfast was very fresh and traditional which made it really lovely. We really enjoyed our stay, although too short.

Fatma manages this hotel with grace and charm. We felt like best of friends when we left. We had a private tour our first day. On day two we followed Fatma's advise and had a wonderful day of touring some infrequently visited sites in Cappadocia. If you ask her for help she will, in every circumstance, exceed expectations. She also helped us rent a car and booked our balloon excursion. She cooked a fabulous dinner for us and, there is no question, we had the best experience because we were welcomed and treated like family.

When we arrived we noticed water on the bathroom floor and suspected a leak in the pipes behind the washbasin. This plumbing or sewage problem led to an unpleasant smell which was only temporarily alleviated after the room was cleaned.
This was a reasonably priced, family-run, cave hotel in the centre of the Cappadocia area with plenty of car parking available on site. Our room was very large and tastefully furnished. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly - Fatma spoke good English and the owner visited every day.We were frequently offered cups of tea and once a bowl of fruit. Breakfast was typical Turkish fare with something different (eg omelette, pancakes) added on each day of our stay. There were also lovely walks nearby.
