Bathroom smell Aweful !!! and SWIMING POOL Under maintenance !! Generally it looks like (3 or 4 stars) hotel NOT 5 Stars

Air condition system was not working coz the summer season didn't started yet according to reception . The Hotel should be classified as 3 stars no more it does not deserve more than this . The only good think is its address .

It should not be 5 Start hotel since facilities within room and on hotel are not returned by value of money paid. We had problems with bathroom since it seems no periodical maintains and bad smells is spreading in room. Also, Location is not good for me because nearest tram is about 3 km with very busy area

The location was ok.

This is never a 5 star hotel. The rooms were not cleaned well. There was a noise like a boiling kettle all night in the room. The reception staff were surly. The barman didn't know how to make any cocktail from the list.

very noisy room - the windows kept almost no noise out at all, and the street noise was intense.

Hotel is just one star not 5, the building is very old, staff can't speak English, not friendly and unhelpful , the breakfast is very basic and poor , just the location is good , otherwise not worth the money at all , I will never go back there again .

This hotel is a scam !! and the pictures are not real The hotel is ranked as a 5 stars hotel and it hardly worth a 1 star, it is old and dark and the rooms are nothing like the pictures, also do not let the sea view fool because we will hardly see the bridge the hotel is far from Bosphorous.

The location was shown incorrectly, this hotel is not located on the Bosphorus, but rather inland! Hotel does not appear as in the photos, very deceiving. Also hotel is not 5 star quality so I don't know how it has achieved this rating.

Tv is broken, fridge is broken, breakfast is terrible, hotel is old, decoration is old. Most importantly, not value for money AT ALL!!

Staff was very helpful. Room was beautiful and large. Breakfast buffet was very high quality. Location was great and very near public transportation. Very pleasant stay.

The location near the water. Price was also OK.

Hte rooms need renewing. There was a slight smell of fungus in hte bath room. The breakfast was rather simple.

this was my sixth stay at the hotel.the location is wonderful .some rooms are rather small and smelly but others are big and comfortable.

it's not a 5star hotel - maybe 3 breakfast is very poor conc. food and (tables without table-cloth etc.) reception understaffed wlan did not work in the room most of the time pool not to be used in mornings and afternoon/evenings

The little village next door was nice.

The location was extremely inconvenient for visiting Istanbul in general. The hotel room was very basic and totally not worth the price. There were loud banquets and events twice in the 4 nights I stayed there, which were noisy at night and made it impossible to use the pool in the afternoon. The breakfast was minimal.

I liked the fact that the room was large and comfortable, the bed was also comfortable, and the cleaning staff did their work very well.

I was really distressed on several nights when the music from outside the room - from the hotel's pool area - kept pounding on and on until midnight. Apparently, there was a wedding reception outside, but it was not nice from the point of view of the hotel guests.

This hotel doesn't rate as 5 stars in any way. The rooms stink. The service is very very very bad. It is noisy. The guest can't sleep because the rooms are right on the party patio. We were forced to not sleep without our choice. We feel cheated by Booking .Com and this very bad hotel. I have been traveling to Istanbul for many years and have stayed in almost all the 5 stars hotels. This is the only time I feel cheated. I will make sure to warn my friends not be victims of this bad hotel.

Location - walking distance from Ortakoy neighbourhood The gym - huge, and tons of equipment to keep you busy for hours (but they had no water)

Service is terrible - particularly at reception Hotel is old and worn out, furniture is old, everything is brown (including the window glass!!) and looks like it's been there since the 70s. Only one lift was in service and you had to wait hours for it to arrive. The only reason we wanted to stay here was for the pool and terrace :the service there was also pathetic (begging for towels and food, then they never took the tray away), and then they threw us out at 4pm to set up a tacky looking wedding. I can imagine the weddings to have been very noisy and disturbing for people staying on that side of the hotel. On our side you could not open the (brown tainted) windows as it gave onto a very noisy street anyway. We highly regret having booked this hotel - don't make the same mistake!!
