The location is excellent, I stayed at the Oscar 2 years earlier. Now June 2010 it certainly has developed nicely. I've read other reviews on this hotel and I didn't mind the music "blaring" beside the pool. The breakfast was included and even allowed you to have an omlette and you could have as much tea, (machine) cappucino, latte etc as you wanted during breakfast hours. Room was comfortable and clean, just a pity the tv channel selection was limited. Love their nargile/water pipe garden area. Staff were friendly. Had a late flight but after checking out could still "hang" by the pool and showered in the "before heading to the airport at 5.00p Like others have mentioned, paying for water and orange juice at breakfast was a bit disappointing. The only English T.V. channel I could get was a Christian channel :-( Not a lot of space around the pool for the sun chairs, especially next to the building, involves a bit of a balancing act to get to a chair. |

The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was ready on check in. The rooms are small and basic but there are deluxe rooms(double beds) which looked great and are very reasonably priced. We will definitely go deluxe next time. The grounds are beautiful and the food good. Beware though, breakfast is included but it is a Turkish breakfast (since one is in Turkey)so don't expect bacon, eggs and toast! If you are looking for the resort experience with all the trimmings then this one is not for you. We had a great stay and will definitely go back for a weekend break. |

I liked the location. The room was nice. The reception staff were unfriendly in that they didnt take any notice of you.. and often carried on conversations even when you were standing at reception. There was a mix up over my bill when I left as I had not understood I had not paid yet through your website..unfortunately I didnt have enough money on me to pay. Eventually they agreed I could come back and pay the following Monday. Which I did, but they were still the same... very weird and unfriendly. They tried to charge me for a bar bill which I had not had, and whatever I said they still made it an issue, it was not my signature, and I had had nothing. Had they talked to me when I arrived, they might have told me that I had to pay on leaving, and also what time breakfast was! |

I told them in advance I am disabled they put me in an upstairs room,The evening meal was quite good. They said I could extend my stay and transfered me to a hotel near by just for one night, which turned out to have an incredibly noisy building site next door. Because of its location near the center, the management dont care about wether the customers are happy or not. EG lod rock amd pop music is played around the pool garden area from 10 am to 10 or 11 pm many residents found this intolerable but nothing was done |

A really lovely stay! Very nice hotel, located close to the main shopping streets and the old town Kaleici, helpful and friendly staff, big and comfortable rooms, beautiful outdoor area with quite spacious swimming pool, presence of the owner ensuring that everything was going fine. Good value for money. A wonderful option for a relaxing stay in the beginning of May! |

we made a reservation a week before and received a confirmation that we have two single rooms and one double room, but when we came to the hotel in the evening there were only two rooms and we spent a night three persons in one room. It was really uncomfortable |

The food was good, the delux bedromm was excellent well designed. The location was easy walking distance to the town and the old city. The price of the wine per glass and bottle, some rooms excessed by outside staircase require better lighting. |

The hotel was very difficult to locate as it is almost lost in very small streets, and the manager kindly accepted to pick up us in the streets. Outside facilties are nice ( restaurant, small swimming pool) they did not give us a baby cot as it had been required. Furniture was quite cheap. |

The location was good. Most of the staff was friendly. Room size was great. Not a hotel for those with small children. We felt like we were getting glares by the staff as well as the other patrons. This was more of a retirement village that was set up for older folks. The walls were thin, and the hotel lacked charm. |

This was a great hotel to stay in, being located in a quite road but still in the centre of Kaleici, convenient for the local trams, shops and all the sights. The staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them - we have nothing but praise for them. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but adequate, and the set menu evening meal was good value for money. Previous reviews have criticised the bar prices, but we found them to be no different from other bars and restaurants in the area. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other visitors. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just outside of Kaleici but adjacent to a lively shopping and residential area which was good in Winter as Kaleice was mainly closed but good for walking. We paid for half board and the meal offerings for breakfast and dinner were good. Parking was free and in a protected area. The free wifi throughout did not work. We had two rooms and it was poor coverage but good in public areas. One of our bathrooms had water leakage problems and no floor drain so was constantly wet underfoot. You cannot take food and drink into the hotel but drinks are expensive at all times except breakfast. We paid for a load of washing and it was returned half wet. |

We stayed in a delux room in the new section. The room was very comfortable, quite large and attractively furnished. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was good - we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The buildings and grounds are very well maintained. The hotel is hard to find if you are driving. |

The hotel was fantastic with funky accomodation and a reasonably great buffet breakfast. The location is great being just at the edge of the Old Town. There was an aroma in the bathroom from the drainage that was a bit off putting. |

The Hotel serves good food and has very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was an economy room, but was quite big enough, with an en suite and a double bed. I would fully recommend to anyone regardless of budget. |
