Incredibly friendly owners and staff. Stunning view from roof terrace. Large room with excellent mattress. Quite location on the edge of town.
A small fridge in the room would have been nice.
Fiona and Mustafa were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful as is the surrounding area. Breakfasts were delicious!
Sometimes the corridors were a bit noisy. I'd go out of the busy season next time (this is no criticism of the hotel).
The owners Fiona and Mustafa have only been operating for 5 months but clearly know what they are about. Their shared background in hospitality, their attention to detail, helpfulness and local knowledge all combine to make for a very good product indeed and a first class experience. The beds are comfortable, the food is good and the ambience is special.
Friendliness of the owners and staff. Quality of the bedroom and facilities. Excellent food including evening meals. Helpfulness of the staff. Close to Goreme town centre. A big "thank you" to Fiona and Mustafa and their lovely family for a memorable stay.
It is very hard to think of something negative about this hotel. It is one of the best that I have stayed in and I would have no hesitation in returning in the future. The only negative that I can think of is that it doesn't have a swimming pool. This did not bother me or my wife in the slightest.
Awesome breakfast, nice and really helpful staff. They helped us to orginize our stay in Goreme. The room was beautiful.
Besides the super nice rooms, the staff (Mustapha, Fiona et al.) are super friendly, helpful and great chefs! Go for the 25 TL 3 course dinner in the garden.
The only con I can come up with is the 7 minute walk to the centre. But even that is a nice stroll...
Staff was awesome. Hotel excellently located. Excellent views of the morning balloon show and the landscape. Strongly recommended
Nothing at all!!
The staff, their puppy, the breakfast & dinner, the views of Rose Valley at sunset, the terrace, the cleanliness. Wonderful location Love love love.
Not set right in Goreme, but a little off the beaten path.
Very nice hotel, room is stylish and very clean. The breakfast is wonderful. You can watch hot air balloons taking of from the valley in the morning from the terrace. Specialy the owners and staff is very helpful & fantastic. We felt very comfortable and safe at Osmanli Manor Hotel. Thanks for having us.
Great place! beautifull and cosy hotel. great personal and very good breakfast. It's not central (10 min to the center) .
very nosy in the morning ( because is close to the palce where baloons are rising ).
Very nice hotel, brand new (opened 4 months ago), big rooms, clean and comfortable. You can also choose to take dinner here - cheaper than in the city and better. The owners, Fiona and Mustafa are nice and friendly. I was feeling here like visiting friends.
The hotel is new, opened in april. Rooms are big, very clean and comfortable. Everything in really nice. Breakfast is good with fresh coocked eggs. Fiona and her husband are very helpful with anything you can need. They brought us with their car to the start of one walk inside the canyon and let us take a shower in the afternoon after check out. 10 min walk distance from the center. Nice cozy place.
The hotel was new and located in a quite area near Goreme center. The room was clean and fully-equipped (very big and confortable bed and bathroom). The breakfast was very complete (cereals, fresh fruit, home-made pancakes, muffins, cheese, nuts, tomatoe, olives...) and served in a very nice common area with relaxing music! It was just great waking up! We also had dinner and it was just amazing! It was served in the garden because of the warm weather and it was very pleasant. Really good home-made food for a bargain price! The owners and the staff were lovely and very helpful. It was for sure the best accomodation in our stay in Turkey.
Very nice, welcoming and helpful staff. They were great. Everything new and clean. Good breakfast
10-15 minutes walk from the city ventre.
the warmest and most friendly family hotel I have ever lived. Really worth the price. The room is big and clean, the decoration is high grade, the bathroom facility is great and advanced. Besides, the view of Goreme on the top floor is fantastic. The breakfast buffet is also well-prepared and there are lots to choose. More importantly, the host family are really nice, they helped us solved lots of travel problems, you can even book most activities directly through this hotel. Moreover, the little girls in this family hotel are really friendly and lovely who made our stay in Goreme even more interesting!.
everything is perfect!
We spent 2 nights here & everything was so wonderful!! Just 10 minutes walking distance from middle of downtown is absolutely acceptable price because we wanted to stay in cozy & silent environment far from the crowded with tourist. And my sweet daughter made a good friend here!! :-)
NOTHING!! No air-condition but you may realize why you don't need it when the night has come. Hotel was built with stones so you don't need to worry about humid air to compare with the other cave-hotels in Kapadokia.
- stuff, providing drinks, shower with towels even after check out before our overnight trip. Thanks to Yasin! - nice room, stylish large enough bathroom. - they were offering paid tours and balloon trip but definitely not pushing, anyway they also explained how to get to valleys, how to take a local bus etc.
- consider location, it's 5-10 minutes walking to the centre of the village with last 50m unpaved. But on the other hand is one of the closest hotel to Love, Red and Rose valleys.
Everything! The rooms were beautiful, spacious and very comfortable and the hotel supplies the most wonderful breakfast I've ever had in any hotel. This included local jams, breads, omelettes if desired, delicious locally grown melons and as much as you can eat. Beyond this, Fiona and Moustafa went above and beyond to make our stay a most memorable one, even taking us to an underground ceramic museum not very well known to tourists when we expressed interest. They made our stay in Cappadocia the part of our trip to Turkey that I remember most fondly. While the hotel is a newer establishment, Fiona and Moustafa understand very well the needs of their guests, and with their attention to detail and their emphasis on the comfort and satisfaction of their visitors I'm certain that this hotel will blossom in the future.
Staff was excellent. Though it is only 7-10 min from town centre, the owners and staff generously offered to drop and pick me up from the centre. They willingly arranged tours and made suggestions for itineraries that coincided with what I wanted from my visit via email. I was made to feel welcome from the get go. The room itself was quite large and comfortable.
Everything was great!
comfortable bed, powerful shower
Wooden floors felt dirty and not comfortable, tiny bathrooms, bad wi-fi connection, small breakfast and not many choice, we asked for a mountain view rooms but we had a construction yard view and their answer was the building wasn't there before
The hotel was fairly new and so beautifully appointed. The room and bathroom were so modern and clean. The hospitality was wonderful and the breakfast very plentiful and delicious. The roof terrace was great to see the balloons in the early morning.
The hotel is brand new. The manager tried his best to help us with the itinerary which made our one day stay in Goreme very compact. The restaurant he recommended which was run by his uncle was great.
It's a little bit far away from "the center", but as security in Goreme is good, it's not a big deal to walk back to hotel after dinner. If you have time, you could go to the travel companies at the center directly, where you may get a good price.
Osmanli Manor Hotel is located a short-walking distance away from the main town of Goreme and is isolated from all the hustle-bustle of hotels in the town. If you need a serene place, a moment of your own, I would say it is a good choice. The view from the hotel is just amazing, there is a panoramic view of the Red valley and Goreme Nat'l Park. At the terrace, you can catch the colorful sunrise and sunset reflecting over the red valley. Also, you can catch the balloons as they are being prepared and piloted up in the air. The hotel owners and staff were all warm and accommodating: Mustafa, his wife, Fiona and their kids. Yassin and Forqan were attentive and readily available if you need anything. The breakfast buffet is always enjoying. There is always enough food selection for the guests and the food tasted good and fresh. The room we had was very spacious even with a king size bed. There was a terrace and a Jacuzzi in our room, which made it very convenient as you just would want to relax after coming from a whole-day walking and climbing tour. Over-all I could say, that I enjoyed my stay and very much satisfied with the hotel while we were there.
Staying at the Osmanli was a wonderful experience. Mustafa and Fiona have left no stone unturned with this beautiful building reflecting the grandeur of a sultans palace with subtlety and taste. Our room had the perfect aspect, ( every morning we watched the balloons in the valley with the fairy chimneys as a backdrop, truly unique! It was magical!) was exceptionally clean and to top it off had the best shower in Turkey! Breakfast was vast and the biggest decision of the day was what to choose from traditional fare to beautiful pastries, Turkish and homemade Australian slices, yummo! Nothing was too much trouble in fact our stay in Goreme was seamless. Thanks to Mustafa and Fiona for their hospitality and warmth. Deb & Craig (Australia)
The staff was nice. The bed was comfortable and the wi-fi worked. Could walk to town or most other sites.
While I was there, there was a work crew in the street. The water went out and so did the electricity. I could hear the other people in the other rooms as they were coming in and if they became loud in their rooms.
