that we had to leave!
the owners Mustafa and Fiona were the friendliest, most helpful and welcoming people you could hope to meet. They went out of there way to make sure we had a wonderful stay.
Mustafa and his staff offered us comfort in the form of amenities and assistance. The hotel itself is small and beautiful, close to town and very welcoming. The staff were on hand to greet us when we arrived after midnight and to send us off when we had to leave at 5 a.m. They also provided tips and guidance regarding where to eat and hike, and were generally a pleasure to be around. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The owners of the hotel are so nice but more importanly their kids are amazing! So respectful, sweet, and beautiful. The oldest daughter recommend a restaurant to us and we went and it was excellent. The staff was also great...very attentive and friendly. This is a great hotel!
id have to make something up
free upgrade, breakfast terrace and comfortable beds and candy at reception an helpfulness of staff
The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable and even volunteered to give us a ride to some of the sights. Very warm and welcoming.
You need to order dinner before 12:00. We checked in in the afternoon, so no dinner is prepared. There is no good restaurant near. So you have to walk 1 km to center. However if you have a car, or no young children with you, walking 2 km ( round trip )is nothing. ;)
Clean in every cornor, comfortable bed. Very nice terrace on top floor where the breakfast is.
The staff endeavour to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Provided lots of recommendations and arranged tours, car hire, balloon rides and airport shuttle bus service. Kind and helpful.
The hotel isn't in town but it's only a 5-10min walk, for some people might be a plus...you can walk right into the valleys! The staff was truly amazing but some of them struggled with English, it can be a challenge if one of the owners isn't there.
Staff was great, the hotel is new and absolutely spotless. The room was very big and nicely decorated. Breakfast and good and varied and having coffee outside in the terrace was brilliant!
Location was not good. No market/restaurant around. No public transport in Goreme. And hotel restaurant doesn't open in off peak season i.e. March. So lunch/dinner was inconvenient. Breakfast was great though.
Service was great
owner and all the stuff are very friendly and helpful
My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Osmanli manor. Mustafa and Fiona and all their staff were so accommodating and helpful. Special mention to Yasin who helped us with everything from booking all our activities, driving us to 'Turkish night' and just having a chat over a cup of tea with us. We really felt at home here. Can't fault a thing. I promised Mustafa I would write a poem but I'm actually terrible at poetry so this will have to do. Rose are red, Violets are blue, Stay at Osmanli Manor, and you'll be happy too. Thanks guys Bec (and Kathryn)
Very comfortable, clean, wonderful breakfast, friendly and attentive staff, wifi worked very well
We've stayed in the cave houses quite a few times, but on a cold winter day, it was so much nicer to be in a warm, bright stone house with a reliable heating system and even a fire in the fireplace one evening. Another plus was hot tea and coffee all day, both in the lobby and a kettle in the room. Also, loved the down pillows and duvets. The glassed in roof terrace was warm enough in the wee hours of morning to both have a good view of the hot air balloons and stay warm enough at the same time.
very friendly people, amazing food, clean and comfortable room, great location
the price is somewhat expensive,
room was quite clean. shower and toilette too the service of the reception staff was really helpful. they picked me up at the station and gave me small laundry service, also suggested seeing around the night view by car.
The Osmanli Manor is a fairly recently constructed property and has been very well maintained. The common areas and rooms are very clean, bathrooms are modern, nice wooden flooring, with plenty of light coming through :) We stayed for 3 nights and felt right at home. The staff especially fiona and mustafa were very helpful in helping plan our days ahead of time and making sure that we made the most of our stay in Goreme. I would definitely recommend Osmanli to anyone planning on staying in Goreme.
Every staff of the Hotel is Wonderful!!! Very kind and friendly!!! Thank you very much, Mr. Mustafa, Yasin and Everybody!!!
Took us 15 min walking (& dragging the luggage) from the centre of the town to the hotel
Excellent hotel with professional and attentive staff; mountain view; great breakfast.
The hot water doesn't seem to work, we only had lukewarm water throughout our 4 nights stay. Would have definitely took more baths if there was hot water(I end up using the bath only once, which was a bit of a downer). We also experience a black out on our last night there, even the street lights were out, it was pitch black for about 15 minutes, all was back in a jiffy. We also wish that the room could be warmer, even after using the extra blanket and having the radiator on we still felt cold. An additional portable heater would have been great.
We stayed for 4 nights and upgrade ourselves to a room with a bath. We even got discounts for upgrading. It is such a private location that we felt exclusive. All travel arrangements that Fiona help us book work out well. Breakfast was made with love! Thanks Yasin! Spacious room and stable wifi connection was definitely a great plus! Had to do a bit of walking to main Goreme town but we definitely enjoyed the cats and quiet neighbourhood along the way.
The location is a little far from central.
The staff and the facilities in the hotel make our stay very comfortable.
Heating system and bathroom water can be more hot. Hotel staff recommend us classic touristic restaurant but we didnt like it(Dibek Rest.).
The hotel has friendly staff. I highy recommend this hotel. Location is 15 minutes away from central but it is ok. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and nice decorated. Thanks for All..
We were here for four nights. We do not want to repeat the good reviews of others but we were very happy in this location. When we left a "renovated" terrace was nearing completion for breakfast and this will only make the location even better. Any hotel is only as good as its "on-the-ground" staff. A very big "Hurrah" to Yasin, who as the person most often at the front desk made our stay delightful - he has a wicked sense of humour. Spend time to chat with him. Diana (have I spelled this correctly?) was such a smiling face in the dining room for breakfast, and Done made sure that our room was made up each day and spotless. The efficient owners need to treasure these staff members - they are priceless. We noted that some reviewers have said the hotel is a little out of the centre - correct and what a blessing that is. Quiet at night and lke living locally almost. We walked to dine and catch local buses - no more than 5-10 minutes - we chose a different road each time and enjoyed the experience of looking into peoples houses as we passed. It is not isolated at all. We recommend, as others have, the Osmanli Mnor very highly.
Our room, the breakfast, the owners and their staff, the dog, the garden, the view, the whole lot
Osmanli Manor is lovely. Our room was beautiful. Fiona, Mustafa and their staff are wonderful -they took care of everything- airport transfers, tour and hot air balloon booking etc. The manor is a 5 min walk from the centre of Goreme with plenty of restaurants and shops. We stayed 3 nights with our infant daughter- they were lovely and treated her like gold.
- After a long day of Green Tour which took almost 8 hours we came back to the hotel tired but realized that there is no restaurant facilities. Our mistake as we should have checked. We had to go back to the town square to eat and though it turned out to be an enjoyable evening would have still preferred to eat and sleep as we had a very early flight to catch.
Our early morning flight was delayed from Istanbul but the hotel had organized our pick up and the green tour which we managed to catch. Thanks to the wonderful staff for organizing everything in our 1 day trip. We left early at 5 a.m. next day and our breakfast was kept ready.
