The staff were very friendly and helpful. Due to my broken leg, they offered in room service to us... which was great... the chef himself brought the dinner to us...I found it is good touch of him... The free parking was a big plus to this hotel, specially in such a busy area... The location. It is very hard to find the hotel and once you find it, it is very difficult to even enter into the front door, from the street market sellers.

mixture of hotels in a commercial district causing problems with congestion due to volume of traffic and no certain parking available apart from diligent doorman at hotel or time of night when the businesses are closed.

Friendly helpful staff. English is spoken. Front desk made bus reservations for us saving a 20 tl (each way) taxi ride to asti. Half board included a great breakfast buffet and full dinner.

Staff were very helpful and polite. It's central location I'm not sure about the smoking policy at the hotel;however, during my stay there was always a a strong smell of cigarettes around the hotel. The washbasins in the hotel rooms were a little small.

The staff were cool....kind and the room was clean and comfy.everything was ok with me and the break fast was awesome for a 3 star hotel .and I also like the view of the breakfast floor. The hotel is near metro station(ulus) and near lots of bus station that goes to city center (kizilay) with only 2 tl (408,413 ......and many other bus that go everywhere in the city with 2 tl..... And also you can come and go from and to the air port by bus no 442 with only 5.25tl and the station is near this hotel !!!!!!:-) I would recomment 100% this hotel to everyone for good and resonble money. They also offer me a plate of fruit for free and I would appreciate it . The hot water for the coffee(at breakfast) was not hot enough....the place that you wash your hand was small in the toilet.....towel could be better......small elavator But I was ok by me !

Really nice hotel, we just were using it as a stop over visit between Istanbul and Goreme. The hotel has nice feel to it once inside the hotel. Staff friendly. Good location as well definitely worth walking over to Genclik park (5min away) which is very nice to walk around water, small little cafes to get a meal aswell. Car Parking, Arrived during the day to find car parking out front of hotel full, during the stay all the nearby shops place all there products (fridges, tvs etc) and take up most of the parking. However after 7pm or so they close and there is heaps of parking if your arrive then.

Perfect central location, just minutes from Genclik Park and about a 30-minute walk to Anitkabir. Nice view from the rooftop restaurant. We had a very early departure so the hotel made us breakfast sandwiches to take to the airport. Excellent shower - spacious with lots of water. Room was a bit cramped - with two single beds, one of them was very close to the closet & minibar.

The personal of the hotel tries it's best with a very basic english vocabulary The dinner included in the demipension formula wasn't eatable...not that easy finding a good restaurant in the neigbourhood. I changed two rooms in order to find one that didn't smell cigarettes!!! I think it was the climatisation, couldn't do with it, couldn't do without it!

This hotel was really excellent! Superb value for money, and after an extensive refurbishment there are well appointed rooms and bathrooms. The location is central and the view from the terrace is lovely looking right acroos to Ataturks mausoleum (Anit Kabir)Lovely sunsets too. All the staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly and so helpful. They could not do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. From the reception staff, waitering staff and a special mention to Galip in the terrace restaurant, who was great fun and full of enthusiasm. Thanks Galip! Thanks to the chef for the lovely food who went out of his way to cook it exactly as we liked it. We can honestly say we have not stayed in a turkish hotel ( and we have stayed at many) where we felt so at home. You will definitely not find better in this price bracket and we would certainly return with no hesitation. NOTHING at all. A previous reviewer had said that they had felt unsafe in the surronding streets due to the street market sellers, but for us this only added to the typically authenticTurkish city atmosphere, We did not feel unsafe or uncomfortable at all whilst out in the town. Some might say that it was a little noisy during the day but didn't affect our stay at all, and after all, the hotel is located in the centre of a busy bustling capital city.

Staff was trying to do their best and was very friendly. Food for breakfast and in the evening was good. Evening meals are cooked and served per person, so it is not a buffet. This means you can't really choose what you want, but this didn't bother me. I like Turkish cuisine. Rooms were cleaned and towels were changed everyday. The location is not good at all. Well, it is not far from center and Ulus metro station. But, the surrounding disorganized flee-market style businesses do not give an impression of a very secure area. I had a slight speed problem with internet on the first night, then it was broken on the next day, and finally it became very good on the third day. I guess they were changing their provider or fixing it, and I was in the middle of that. The hotel used to be a smoking one, so even if it is prohibited now, there are signs of burns on the carpets here and there. What struck me most is that both Ankyra and the Gonca hotel next had some country flags upside down above the entrance. I let them know about it, and the kindly promised to fix it. Would be good if any other booking.com customers comment if they did fix it ?!

The Hotel has a good relation quality / price, and it’s near the citadel. The staff are very friendly. I had some difficulties with the transfer I had previously hired, and the staff, especially Mr. Galip, were extremely helpful in solving the situation, inclusively using their private Mobil. The staff have some difficulty to communicate in English.
