We really enjoyed the wonderful location of the hotel, very closed to the main attractions of the Peninsula. |

Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. 1st room was great as we had been upgraded from a Standard room to a Queen Size room (Free of Charge I was told) but the A/C didn't work! 2nd Queen room they moved us to had an angled roof so I couldn't stand, but as the A/C worked we decided to take it for the night. 3rd room was a bit small for a family room so I just had to make do. I wasn't too happy as we couldn't unpack until the second day into our 4 day holiday and we had an infant to manage. After all this I did request a "free" transfer to the airport, which I got but then they really spoilt it by charging me for a Queen room that we slept in the very first night. |

Excellent location. Very good rooms (except 701, too small, no proper shower). Attractive decor. Nice roof garden. Excellent breakfast. Very good staff in bar and restaurant. Our first room had non-functioning airconditioner which staff refused to accept. After sleepless hot night the next day receptionist was excellent and changed our room. |

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was on a lovely terrace, the location was super convenient, and everything worked well. The hotel is just great. I would have enjoyed a slightly larger room. |

The location of the hotel was perfect. Majority of main attractions were within easy walking distance or short taxi drive away. Also, the staff were great...very hospitable and spoke English well. The rooms were small for typical American standards, but very clean. I would recommend this hotel to friends, and would certainly stay again. |

I stayed 2 times at this hotel and I will surely go back. Ideally located, right in the centre of Istanbul, with great view, within walking distance to main attractions. Very clean and, in upper floors, very large rooms. During my first stay, I had a room at ground floor, facing Ayasophia and it was a bit noisy from the terrace below, but as a young person, it did not bother me too much |

Good service and attention, charming room, excellent location The breakfast is absolutely a 2 stars hostel. It doesn't fit at all with the rest of the hotel.Too much mature couples and too much stairs for them |

Close proximity to major attractions. Room and hotel facility were clean. Breakfast was OK without being lavish. Price was higher than some others but I guess you pay for the location. There would be no more than ten paces to the Hagia Sophia wall from the hotel's front door. |

All of hotel staffs are ery friendly and kind to us during our stay. Also it is a very convinient location, however quiet area and no noise from outside. It appeared that walls/floors are rather thin so we sometimes hear noise (not really loud) from other room. |

We liked our room and the attention given by the staff, The breakfast was fine, plenty of it. The room was nicely clean. You gave us the special treat of an upgrade so we were in room 104 with the Jacuzzi bath. The quality of food, both breakfasts and the meals we ate with you did not match up to what we had been served in Greece; e.g. we were served better quality ingredients, particularly fruits and salads. On a small point, the posh bathroom with Jacuzzi did not have enough rack space for the copious towels we were provided with. You could change that quite easily I think; its a minor point. |

Location was very good, right next to Aya Sofia in the heart of Sultanahmet. The restaurant has a well deserved excellent reputation. For a 5 star hotel the rooms were small. I got a good deal for this hotel and I would not have paid full price for the rooms if I went again. |

Very convenient location - close by the Hagia Sofia, the Palace, the Blue Mosque etc. The room is clean, and service is good check the air conditioning - it broke down on our first nite of staying there. And though it was fixed afterwards, it is not very cool in summer. |

1. Universal pleasant character of the staff - reception, restaurant, room service were all charming and welcoming. They were also seen to deal with difficult clients politely. Score is 120 out of 100! 2. Rooms were clean, well maintained and well appointed. Extra space in drawers would be useful, however. |

The Ottoman Imperial Hotel is a fantastic place with the most helpful staff. We loved our stay there and recommend it highly. The rooms were spotless although the room sizes vary. we had a surprisingly good meal there on our last night. A wonderful experience in every way. Have to say service at this hotel was excellent! Every single member of the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. |
