The location is ok, as it stands near to Kaatas tram station and walking distance from Taklsim. From Kabatas you can visit the Princes islands..The room offers basic services and free coffee/tea.

They did not change my sheets on my second night , nor my toilets. As it stands on the uphill going to Taksim, if you have luggages you may find the last 170 meters to the hotel really challenging. Specially if it rains. Very poor breakfast.

Attitude of its personnel was fantastic, the room was clean with great view, located in a quiet and relaxing area. Having a lovely trace with great view.

Quality of the breakfast material was not satisfactory.

Economy rooms are too small You have to climb steep stairs to get to the hotel. Very tiring in case you have a baby or luggages. Breakfast is poor.

Breakfest on the roof top. Wonderful view. Kitchen in the room. Excellent location, close to Taksim, very close to Tram. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet

Room in the first floor rather dark. Upstairs would be better.

I liked the comfortable bed and the fact that the hotel is near to the tramway station. I was happy to have breakfast with that amazing view from the terrace and drink a turkish coffee every day.

I didn't like that cleaning service is not on a daily basis, it is every three days and also, the breakfast is always served with boiled egg which is not my favorite, anyways you can ask for cleaning or the eggs you may like I they sure please you.

Welcome from the personnel, being taken to the rooftop bar/dining area to be shown the easiest way to get to the Ferry terminal and being given a cold soft drink 'on the house'. Would book again when passing theough Istanbul.

This has already been stated in the previous comment but the easiest way to get to the Padya is to get to either the budo or ido ferry terminals and then walk up the steep fight of steps to get to the Residence. Easy to remember for future visits.

Rooms were very clean and as hotel was located in a small alley it was very peaceful location without any noise. The stuff was very helpful and made me felt very welcome. Breakfast in the terrace was wonderful with the views to the sea.

    Breakfast on terrace

The entrance to the hotel is by a long way of stairs & no access ramps are provided for wheel chairs/strollers!

Easy access to the Bosphorus and Taksim, friendly staff, great rooftop terrace with a wonderful view, and the hotel can arrange a fair priced transfer to Ataturk Airport

A bit tricky to find the first time !

Phantastic view, easy access to public transportation, not far off main street and Taksim place, very helpful and friendly staff

If the terrasse cannot be used for bbreakfast the area before the lobby is quite small, a bit more breakfast would be great

    Location location location

Price sometimes up and down unpredictable , but good value for good place. Breakfast is too simple , put particular Turkish cheese and morning menu will be perfect

Firstly the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was very nice with stunning views over the Bosphorus. The breakfast was served on the roof terrace which is a fantastic place to sit and watch the world go by. Considering how noisy Istanbul can be, the room was fairly quiet at night.

I would have been happier if the room was serviced more than once in our stay.

The staff are really friendly and helpful and trying their best to maintain the comfortable atmosphere in the residence. Ibrahim and Gulbin showed a real example of professional hospitality. The location is fantastic with a breathtaking sea view. Of course I will stay again I this hotel in my next visit to Istanbul

There are no major negative points. However, I think they should arrange to clean the rooms everyday not 3 days. In addition, having the same breakfast every day is boring specially for those who are planning for a long stay.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean and very well designed. Terrace cafe was perfect in the evening.

The stairs, but you can't visit Istanbul and not climb stairs.

Kind and helpful personnel, exceptional location, good wifi reception - also in room, rooftop breakfast

Room wasn't cleaned during our 3 days stay, poor breakfast (every day same cold menu, no fruits), room equipment partly worn out or broken (shower, shower glass wall, sinks were clogged)

I liked everything about the hotel. My room was superior room which had full sea view, which I believe it has the best Bosphurs view in Istanbul. The location, which was little bit far from noisy city but near to all important tram and metro station; was excellent. The terrace at roof has a breath- taking open view of Bosphurs. The staff, especially lbrahim (hotel's manager), never refused any request and supported us in every thing. Gulbin also was very supportive. The smile never left her face.Even Onor who was handling the night shift, although his humble english, he supported us in our requests. The smile is the address of this hotel and you feel your self at your home.

Although you have to climb 106 steps to the hotel, I believe it is healthy and didn't bother me ir my family. As soon as we reached the room we forget every thing. The breakfast might be humble little bit, but in my opinion, the hotel compensated it with the view from roof terrace.
