I spent 5 days in Göreme. I felt home in Panoramic Hotel from the very first moment I arrived. They help me out with organizing amaizing hiking and cycling tours through the valleis, that I did by myself. Really nice, lovely and supporting people working in the hotel, I cannot wait for visiting again in a close future.
All the staff was v nice n helpful, they try their best to help us to arrange all the tours n give good suggestions, the balloon flight is v amazing
Fantastic location in Goreme with great views of the town, and glad we stayed in a fairy chimney room. The hotel has such potential but unfortunately they let themselves down by lack of real service. However the breakfast was good, and the young lad serving there was always friendly and helpful. Good place to see the balloons early in the morning (need to set alarm for 5.30am). Bed comfortable and room generally quiet.
We stayed in October and the hotel really felt run-down, like they couldn't be bothered at the end of the season. Pots of dead plants everywhere, including in the room. Rubbish in car park. No cushions out on seating, although came back one day to find some cushions stacked on lounge on our balcony, and there they stayed making that area unusable. Wifi didn't work in room, and unable to get a drink in bar area, although they did say we could bring wine back, but couldn't find cold bottle anywhere in town. Shower was luke-warm each day, and bathroom was always water-logged. Wires for lighting hanging out of fittings. Owners dog sat on stairs outside our room one night and barked continually throughout the night.
This is a place like no other. The history of the area and of this hotel is what makes it. Our rooms were in a cave and it was a unique experience. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast bar was wonderful, with omelets were made especially for you. We rented a car as well as hired a tour guide who gave us a great tour for about two hours. There are restaurants at the bottom of the hill.
We were cold, even with the extra blanket we were cold . The rooms did not have the heaters turned on so the only warm place was under the blankets. This did not work out for a group of people to visit in the evening. There was a kitchen lounge with a fire place. The town is in a park and the use of coal is regulated. We did not get to use the balloons as it was too windy. no ones fault just a heads up that plans change.
Excellent view over Goreme. Staff very accommodating to allow early check in and helpful in arranging tours at a good rate.
Sleeping in a cave!!!
I stayed Cave Suites and the interior of the hotel was fabulous. The night views from the terrace was beautiful. The staffs were keen to help me. The hotel is close to the centre of Goreme, very convenient.
Great location, very near to sunset point. Recommend to wake up early to catch the moment when all balloons take off. Staffs are friendly, breakfast is good. Free pickup from bus station can be arranged foc upon arrival.
The views were excellent. The terrace was a bonus.
Toilet seat was broken.
The rooms are very beautiful, the scenery is very good. The staff were very good, helped me confirm the airport shuttle and a hot air balloon.
Early in the morning at 4 o'clock, when a sudden power failure, and very unexpected, but fortunately finally restored.
The hotel is one of the most beautiful caves in Goreme.
The hotel is a little far from the center of Goreme, so that it is not easy to find even on my second and third day to return from the center of Goreme. The wifi signal is bad for cave rooms, because there may be only hubs at the lobby or public areas, and the cave won't let the signal go through. We were unlucky that the hot balloon did not fly when we were at Goreme. But we still made reservation through the hotel and got up very early (5am and 6am) in the morning. However, they won't notify us for the cancellation, which is a really frustrating experience. We heard that others booking directly from hot balloon companies got cancellation notification on time. We also booked airport shuttle bus to go to Kasirye. Although not sure, I suspend that the bus driver charged me more than guests from other hotels, because he first asked the name of the hotel and then checked the price to tell me, while the distance was the same.
Quirky accommodation in a fairy chimney. Staff keen to help sort out trips for you. Great location to just step out of bed and watch the balloons at sunrise.
This is a very central location in Goreme high up on the hill overlooking the town. The open terrace is perfect to view the sunset or the hot air balloons scattering the sky in the morning sunrise.
The staff was welcoming and eager to please. The hotel is close to a hill where you can watch the sunset, but most importantly see the hot-air baloons rise at sunrise. It's magical! Our room was nice, shower had good water pressure and hot water. Also, if you don't have transportation, they can arrange a transfer to the hotel (to/from the airport). It's much cheaper.
Internet connection could only be done in public areas.
the owner pushed a lot of balloon tour. she makes other agency fun And i didnt like the balloon tour what she recommended.
Very beautiful & cozy room. I liked having breakfast at the terrace with a great view. staff were very kind & helpful.
A lady manager's attitude was blunt compared to other hostels'. A little bit hard to get there with big laggages as the hostel was on a hill.
the view is good
Definitely the best view from the terrace. Lovely breakfast with great omelets while looking over the fairy chimney landscape. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Received an email before our stay about all the available activities and hotel helped us book effortlessly. Great suggestions on good restaurants. Wifi worked very well. Real cave room which is exactly what we were looking for.
Shower was cold the first morning and a bit complicated to operate. Figured it out with some help. Bathroom floor gets very wet.
Loved this beautiful hotel. Our room was even more beautiful than we imagined. Especially the gorgeous bathroom! Loved the terrace too. The staff were extermly helpful, going out of their way to find us a hot air balloon ride even though it was booked out when we arrived they managed to find us a place. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Goreme.
Every thing was good
It's high up alittle bet
The staff were great and the setting is surreal. We stayed in a fairy chimney room which was very cool. The staff were very helpful in assisting us with booking activities.
The bathroom is a little basic (wet room) but not a deal breaker, Also we didn't sleep great. Can't really complain about the call to prayer as we were in a Muslim country, but there were also some fairly vicious sounding dog fights going on most nights!
Staff went above and beyond answering our countless questions of the area. They called all the hot air balloon companies for us trying to secure us a hot air ride the next morning. Facilities and view of the sunset are second to none in Gerome. Free upgrade on room as it was a midweek quiet night.
This was by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Turkey. The location is perfect, with beautiful views. The rooms are both comfortable and original. And we actually felt welcome there. We were let into our room way before check-in time for no extra cost so that we could rest, we were welcome to use the area (toilets, lounge, Wi-Fi etc) for any amount of time after check-out, we were given numerous tips on where to go, what to do etc. And I paid exactly what it said on the booking in TL. Every other Turkish hotel always recalculates the amount to throw in a few extra lira for themselves... We'd definitely come back and we would recommend this place to everyone. Such excellent service is very rare in Turkey, and every hotel should learn from them.
nice and very helpful stuff, beautiful cave rooms, perfect view on the Goreme, excellent breakfast, great location - near the viewpoints on the whole Cappadoccia. I highly recommend to everyone!
The shower was little bit damaged, and sometimes only cold water was running and also running to whole bathroom. Secondly, you could hear noise from other rooms, so not much privacy in the rooms.
