Score from 172 reviews Good
Good position, all you need for some rest during a road-trip
Staff not so kind, minimal cleaning level.
the location was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
the rooms are slightly small
the place is very close to the city centre and all attractions, staff is helpful
the bed linens were dirty, bathroom was awful
Good location. Right next to bus station. Nice, simple breakfast.
Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, nothing major though.
Bathroom dirty, with mud on the floor, bed linen not clean and not change.
It is in a really convenient location and the price was good.
Price was proven to be too good to be true and the place is being oversold as a hotel. If you are looking for backpacker accommodation then it is for you. Do not have any high expectations.
Location - easy to find and near the otogar; room (simple but the bathroom and the ac were good)
excelent value for money, great location, only a block away from Otogar where you get dolmus and taxis to site. big room with a balcony, big bathroom, hot water. many restaurant options nearby but also a super market for supplies
although breakfast is included its mediocre, pushy owner when it comes to suggest his tours and extend your stay there.
I dont know whether we were exhausted or the beds were really comfortable thus we slept very very well. Staff was helpful. Location was perfect. There was a balcony in our room. The furnitures were old but it was not a problem. Breakfast was average but satisfactory. We did not use wifi so cannot comment on wifi. If you do not expect too much, it is good place to stay.
Great location right near bus terminal and centre of town. Owner sells cold beers downstairs in hotel for same price as mini mart!
Bathroom was smelly and looked like it hasnt been cleaned ever
The location of Paris Hotel is perfect - near the otogar and some interest sites. The Saturday market is right outside, but was not a problem at all. The manager was very nice to let me change my booking because my partner decided to arrive one day late. He was also helpful in offering touring information.
The air-conditioner was so noisy that I thought all other people knew I turned it on. No spare room to change so I could only try to stand it.
- The owner was offended and angry because we didn't want to buy his tours. Later he almost not speaks to us. - Room wasn't cleaned for 4 days.
Location(really near Otogar Station)
1.) I booked via booking.com and get a great deal but when we arrived, the boss said the price we got was too cheap and he forced us to chose another "better room" with a "great price"(but actually, it's almost the same room, just one floor lower…), that means we had to pay a bit more to save few steps… and his attitude made me felt stressful. so we got the "better room" and after that, he started to introduce the Efes tour but we don't think its a fare price and we don't trust him…so we didn't join that. Actually, we walk to Efes on our own and it takes like 30 min. there are many trees and we just walk under the shade, so it was not really hot.
Good price good location good staff
Stayed here for one night only as Ephesus next day, then onto next destination. This air con double room was big and excellent value (cheapest in Selcuk). Big room, comfy bed, breakfast ok, staff v. friendly.
You get what you pay for- no toiletries, bathroom not the cleanest, shower just a hose etc. Great for cheap one night stay.
The patron was not patient and rispectful towards our questions and even wanted us to put up some good words on booking.com when we were leaving.
the most economical price I've had in 2 weeks of travel in Turkey so can't complain much. Also, it's right behind the bus station.
there is no lift as for many of the pensions or home hotels or hostels. Bathroom needs a little do-over
Relatively good value for money, Excellent location (but since Selcuk is a small place bad location is almost impossible)
Our dirtiest stay in Turkey, toilet is literally black. Breakfast is not buffet, and not really fresh. Only book if not squemish and want a budget stay.
The quality that you get for the low price you pay, the breakfast, decent rooms with a balcony, its proximity to ephesus (you can even walk to the site if you want) and its proximity to the busstation. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
Its not a very idyllic hotel.
The breakfast was quite poor. Also I think that is a problem when the hotel don't have a map to give to you, or at least show you the information. You are left with some indications, what is not the perfect when you are a tourist and do not know nothing of the town. The room was very small, the bathroom door don't even close because of so short space.
Location was very close to the bus station and local restaurants and shops. We were also able to walk to the ruins at Efes from the hotel. Breakfast was typical and filling (eggs, tomatoes, cheese, bread and fruit with tea or coffee). Staff did not pressure us to buy a tour and gave us water for our ongoing bus trip. Very cheap. Overall good value stay for 2 nights.
Room smelt strongly of cigarettes as did all the sheets, blankets etc.
the price and place is very suitable for someone who with limited budget and time.
The location, the size of the room and, in particular, the price were all ideal - it was good budget accommodation. The owner also gave us useful suggestions for activities in and around Selcuk.
Although clean and private, the bathroom was not particularly comfortable and the WiFi signal didn't often reach our first-floor room. The laundry service was quite expensive.
