This hotel is a real jewel with a very attentive staff. Very nice and well located near the train station and between two Metro stations, located near the bazaar and the boardwalk on the sea. Traveling by car, we greatly appreciated the free private parking. Furthermore hot drinks (coffee, tea, cappuccino) are free at all times. This beautiful hotel also offers free WiFi that works everywhere. The breakfast is a real treat. We took every dinner at this hotel and have thoroughly enjoyed the meals at affordable price for this type of establishment. And what a setting! We greatly appreciated the attention of the chef as much for breakfast and for evening meals. He wears a personal attention to his client. Congratulations to the chef! Très joli et très bien localisé près de la gare et entre 2 stations de métro, situé près du Bazar et de la promenade sur le bord de la mer. Voyageant en voiture, nous avons grandement apprécié le stationnement privé et gratuit. De plus des boissons chaudes (café, thé, cappuccino) sont offertes gratuitement en tout temps. Ce très bel hôtel offre aussi le WIFI gratuitement et qui fonctionne partout. Le petit déjeuner inclus est un vrai festin. Nous avons pris nos repas du soir dans cet hôtel et avons grandement apprécié ces repas à prix plus qu'abordable pour ce type d'établissement. Et quel décor! Nous avons grandement apprécié l'attention du chef autant pour le petit déjeuner que pour les repas en soirée. Il porte une attention très personnalisée à ses client. Bravo au chef! Cet hôtel a été notre coup de cœur lors de notre voyage de 3 semaines en Turquie. Nos félicitations!

The Park Boutique Hotel was an excellent overnight stop on our way from Marmaris to Istanbul. It is 2 easy minutes from Basmane train station, and a block from where you can pick up free mini-shuttles to the main otogar. Since we were using the bus system, we bought our tickets to Istanbul the night before and the bus company we used (Kamilcok) provided the shuttle service. Breakfast at the hotel was beyond expectation - everything imaginable from Turkish to English to European. The beds were quite comfortable, the rooms scrupulously clean and the bathroom large enough to not feel sausages in. Excellent value for the price.

We stayed at 3 similar priced hotels in Turkey during our visit and the Park Hotel was the best value of the three. We had the best fish meal of our entire trip at the Park. The Park also furnished us with the roomiest, most modern hotel room of our Turkey vacation. We were impressed with the wall and ceiling paintings and statues that established the decor of the hotel. They also serve a great breakfast! The staff were very friendly and professional; answered all of our questions; and made good suggestions when asked to do so. It's a first rate hotel.

The room smelled like cigarette and it was a bit dark. It seems to be a good hotel for business, but for tourists it is maybe better to stay in Alsancak region, not in Basmane (center)

Good location, good price and clean. They upgraded our room to a suite for free. The breakfast was prefect and free-24hrs hot drinks was awesome. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was not very friendly and the older guys at the reception was kind of cranky. At some point, I felt that the hotel was understaffed and the poor 3 guys had to do work of 8.

I only stayed one night, but my overall impression was very good indeed. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I arrived quite late but was still able to order a meal to eat in my room, which was very keenly priced, tasty and a generously-sized portion of food. The location is pretty handy and centrally located in the city centre, only a 10-15 walk from where the airport shuttle leaves you off (though having explored the city further I think the Alsancak area is a lot nicer), and the breakfast buffet was great. I felt it was very good value for the standard of accommodation.

Our family had the most wonderful stay at the Oglakcioglu Park Boutique Hotel Izmir. I would like to take this opportunity to compliment the Hotel staff for their exceptional service, care and attention; from the frontline staff, the guest relations officer and the Hotel Chief. They all went out of their way to ensure we had a grand time, problem free and an enjoyable stay. We can only highly recommend this Hotel for anybody wishing to stay in Izmir. Very nice and very Luxury hotel :-)

Location close to Basmane train station - both metro and regional trains. Good breakfast, clean hotel. A couple of guys at reception not helpful to independent traveler, just wanted to call taxis. A we wanted info on buses etc. They sent jackets we left behind in wardrobe and that was nice and we thank them. All told very good hotel. Hard to find as you must look for Park Hotel. Good food nearby. Good all told.

Not the best neighborhood. Restaurant was not as good as the rest of the hotel - limited menu, ravioli ecch!

Oglakcioglu Park Boutique Hotel is a wonderful, small hotel with tons of local charm. While we were there, most of the guests were Turkish but there were also several other tourists. The hotel staff speak English quite well and are incredibly friendly. The free parking is a huge plus in crowded downtown Izmir. They have an elevator that takes the cars up, so they are very secure and locked away. We particularly enjoyed the daily breakfasts with at least 10 different varieties of Turkish olives, a couple of tapenades, a wide selection of cheeses, pastries, breads, jams, honey and other goodies.
