The single rosella in a tiny cage.. Aviary is lovely but the parrot needs to fly in it occasionally .. Perhaps a companion rosella? He seemed well cared for otherwise.. And the aviary is a great talking point

Restored Ottoman coaching inn, which looks like a castle, with a huge court yard was fantastic. Turkish breakfast in the tree lined yard was a positive bonus.

Several eveninig events held in the court yard & did not finish till 11:30pm - 4 times in a week during my stay. The noise made it difficult to have a restfully night.

Centrally located it was about 15 minutes walk to the sea shore and very close to bus and airline offices, within walking distance to the local bazaar which was very interesting. The lobby of the hotel was lovely and the dining room was very pretty with an internal aviary, the room was something else, we were shown to our room and to our surprise we only saw one double bed in the room, so we told the bell boy that we cannot sleep 3 people in one bed and he said no problem and he then open a door to reveal an adjacent room with 2 extra beds, we were so happy not only the room was actually 2 rooms in one but we decided to put one of our friends in the room with the one bed so that he can snore to his heart content and have the air conditioner very cold at night without disturbing us . The breakfast was nice and plentiful, the staff was very friendly.

There is nothing I dislike of the hotel itself, it is very nice however there seems to be a few bars with naughty girls a couple of blocks away and I was not sure if that was the red area district or not, we did not bother to investigate.

The hotel is very nice..but the staff is even better. They always say no problem, and have a great sense of humor. The location was good for us, and Erol was especially nice. All in all we would recommend this hotel for very reasonable rates for high quality, with many extras provided free.

Everything we Eww was very clean except our shower had a good bit of mold which was still there after I complained. Especially gross in the honeymoon suite, which I don't really recommend. It looks impressive, but round bed not that great for holding pillows on and the room has a lot of street noise. Staff did offer to change our room but we were leaving. the second room which was also upgraded was actually 2 twin beds instead of double, but the room did not present a problem.

Fantastic hotel, already the 6th time we came back to this faboulus hotel in the centre of Izmir, located perfectly to explore Izmir & surroundings, 5 minutes walk to Basmane Trainstation & Trade Fair Grounds, very friendly & helpfull staff and one of the best breakfasts I ever had in a hotel ! Absolutely nothing !

The staff was extremely friendly and they upgraded our rooms into suites. A very good place to stay, would definetely do so if i visit izmir again.

The breakfast buffet could be improved on.

Everything! It is located very close to the train station, the rooms are perfectly appointed, and the free breakfast varied and plentiful. The staff are helpful, friendly and customer oriented. Dinner was excellent and surprisingly inexpensive.

Oglakcioglu Park boutique is located in the city center and is easy to find. The staff is cooperative, the hotel is clean and not that expensive. Good place to stay.

Location is very good, close to Basmane station, hotel itself is also very clean, interiors are very well designed, staff knows the job and speaks English, wi-fi works fine, breakfast is good.

Absolutely nothing to complain about

From the moment we walked in the staff treated us wonderfully. The decor is lovely and the location perfect, within walking distance of most of the major sites in Izmir. The breakfast is fabulous and the restaurant across the street became our favorite hangout for an afternoon beer or after dinner raki. We also had dinner there 3 times. The hotel restaurant is good for dinner too, however the place across the street was more set up for dinner. The hotel is in a pedestrian area with lots of funky little restaurants and bars, and really close to main streets for connecting anywhere. Very good value.

Very helfull staff and very good location, close to Basmane metro station and 20 minutes from konak tower on foot. Breakfast was also good.

The hotel and our room were nicely decorated and maintained. Excellent staff & service, breakfast was very good. Central location, easy to drive if you know the way.

For those driving - Hotel is on a one way street which is only accessible via traffic circle. Make sure you study your maps before coming!

The service was excellent and the breakfast too. I definitely recommend this hotel to other customers.

They offer a small bottle of wine in the room that was outside the refrigerator on my arrival. It gave me the impression that it was complimentary which is normal for such a hotel. At my check out i pay it. It is not nice to give wrong impression to your customers. All the rest was perfect.
