Payment arrangements: I gave my credit card details over the net once, I was asked to pay "the guarantee" with my credit card when I was checking in, when I was paying the bill the exchange rate the hotel is using is quite different from the rate of the day. |

Location There are 3 major building works that immediately surround the Pera Rose Hotel. To the back, in direct view of the room window, 2 buildings are being knocked downed, major building work starts at 7:30AM and stops at 4:30PM. Next door to the Hotel, the building is covered in scaffolding, extreme and continuous hammer drilling is continous from the evening to the early mornings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The noise was worsened by building workers cheering everytime a skip became full, almost every hour from 1am on each morning. The staff initially denied they could he0ar the noise and the manager said he could do nothing about it. Enforcement of planning laws is obviously short of civilised standards. |

Hotel position is perfect to stay in the Taksim area and enjoy the Istiklal street with its 24h daylife. Also, it is very close to the Galata Tower and 5 minutes of taxi far from the Sultanahmet area. Hotel staff is very good and always available for help. Nothing in particular to be pin-pointed. The only watchout is this 4 stars classification may not be necessary in line with some other European countries' standard. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was well equipped if a little dark. Breakfast selection was excellent and staff very attentive. There is a building site next door to the hotel. Building work continued throughout the night for the whole 6 days I was there. I did not get any sleep it was incredibly noisy and i was very dissatisfied. Also the bedding was strange. The top sheet was missing from my bed for 4 of the 6 nights I stayed I was covered directly by a bedspread. This was evidently not inrended. |

The location is very good to explore taksim area. And at the business center available 2 computers standby, and frequently vacant. We can use to internet service for free and the website in English instead of turkish. Room to small, carpet seems to be very old years |

the breakfast was excellent. and the lobby looks good. The rooms are very smal not like it looks in the internet. the view from the window was into blind. there was a noise from the air conditoning and from the building out side. |

Nothing, booking.com should not include this hotel any more in their hotels directory, no any respect shown from the hotel to the confirmed reservation which was done. We did not get our rooms upon arrival , because was no reservation for us, the hotel canceeld our room and send us to ( half star ) hotel very dirty which charge us for one night rate of 200 usd per room !!!!!! , and we stay theire till the manager come next day and correct the situation but we get our rooms in pera rose at 8 pm next day. The unexpected bad surprise upon arrival did not give us the chance to like any thing in that hotel... |

The staff at reception were good, design of hotel was very nice, breakfast was excellent and overally a nice place The hotel was 20 minutes by walk from Taksim Sq., but in the description it is mentioned 8 minutes but they did not say by bus! overally it is a good hotel |

The staff were really helpful.I managed to check in at 10 am , which is 2 houres before normal check Ins. Hotel location is excellent and is 3 mints from Istiqlal street , 5 mints from tram and metro station The room is was given was really ntoisy and small. Construction was going on nearby and i had to call the reception and complain. Imidiate action was taken and i really apprecaite their prompt response. In general, all 4 stars hotel in that area have small rooms. |

Excellent location, clean and comfortable room, nice shower. Well equipped with amenities. Friendly staff. I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel an would definitely visit again. We got a small room with no view, but it didnt really matter as we were in the room only to sleep and the bed was very comfortable. The ac was noisy. |
