friendly staff, comfortable bed, good location
too small room
Location , location, location. Perula's location is the best to visit Haga Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi etc
Hotel rate fluctuated . We pay the higher rate !
No laundry service, even though there were laundry bags they suggested I use the laundry down the road.
Excellent and helpful staff great location
Easy to walk everywhere is historic region
Hard to find initially
Location and bf.
Hotel located just a short distance away (3-5 minutes) from the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia, where you can catch a Hop On Hop Off busses. Restaurants are much cheaper in this area, we really recommend to go to Kalem restaurant which was suggested by hotel staff. Tram stop Cemberlitas is 5 minutes away. It's the best option for those who are flying to/from Ataturk Airport. It's going to cost you 10 tk for one person to get to the hotel from the airport. Staff is very friendly and helpfull, good english skills. On the last evening we had a complimentary fruits on the table, it was very nice! Very delicious bread served during breakfasts.
We found our blanket unclean, but it was exchanged after our first request. Breakfast was a little bit boring, i think Hotel Perula management should really think about improving a morning menu. For instance, juices were really bad, you should find another juice supplier and customers will be much happier about making their way down to the lobby for breakfast. Also, on the table where breakfast being served you could make tags with shirt description of what's in a bowl or a pan, for me being a vegetarian it was difficult to choose, because one day there was hot pancakes filled with sausages which i put on my plate to try and of course i left it there. WI-FI signal was poor, sometimes unreachable. For us it was important as we use internet to contact our relatives.
Clean rooms which were recently renovated and in very good shape. Excellent shower and bathroom facilities. Very close to tramway and blue mosque (2 min walking distance) and reasonably quite. Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff.
Bed had a good mattress but was slightly too short for tall persons (1,90 m). Room was next to elevator which was kind of noisy. Small room.
Location was great for the old city, walking distance from the Metro stop Sultanahmet, good value and comfortable interior. Great shower.
It seems like it was an over-sight but we didn't have any duvet on our bed and we stayed there Nov 1, 2014. There was an spare duvet in the wardrobe but it didn't have clean on it. We used it anyway because it was late. The room was also tiny and even though it was cold out it got a bit stuffy at night because it was so small, that said, it had everything in it and I would recommend it to a friend.
you could walk to the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Arasta Bazaar which I wish I had found sooner. WIFI was good in room as well as in breakfast room- delicious breakfast. Reception staff arranged for our walking tour as soon as we arrived. They also arranged for our dinner and the restaurant came to pick us up. They also have a shuttle you can pay to take you to the airport. I would definitely want to stay here again if we return.
Absolutely nothing - could't have asked for anything else.
* location in section with restaurants, shops and near high street. * Free WiFi with good connectivity. * Good choice of international TV channels.
* Cramped rooms, tiny bathroom * breakfast very mediocre quality * airport shuttle organized by hotel overpriced * mastery of English by staff marginal
The front rooms eg 101 & 102 eg 401 & 402 had a large window street side. Lovely light and ventilation and didn't seem to notice the street noise when sleeping. The location was superb, felt very safe and well looked after by the superb staff. Overall an intimate, clean, comfortable, safe and welcoming boutique hotel
Location was good
Check out time was too early, beds need the quilt place on top, fix air conditioners and clean the return air filter so the aircong works properly, get a toaster in the dining room for breakfast
It was so near to the blue mosque (4 mins walk) aya sophia (6 mins walk) grand bazaar (10 mins walk) and Bosphorus (metro). Although the hotel is average, just because of the location it was totally worth it as before we were staying at radisson blu and it cost us a lot for just getting to the old city so I would recommend to divide the experience between half days in some hotel in taksim square to explore the malls, street stores, food and the other half in sultanahmet to explore the museums and all.
Rooms were very small, very small tv, wifi coverage not so great.. I usually only eat fried eggs or an omelette for breakfast and they didn't offer that, they had scrambled and boiled eggs though.
Location is great for sightseeing
Very dated, overlooks abandoned derelict building
Great location Good staff Nice breakfast room and coffee machine
Be very careful in those showers - tiles are very slippery like ice when wet and I nearly had a nasty accident - I warned my husband to put a bath mat in the shower first. Breakfast was disappointing to our North American taste, with a lack of cereals, they ran out of scrambled eggs, no fresh fruit and bread was tasteless. Room was very small - if we'd realized, we would have splurged on a larger room.
excellent location and excellent breakfast. very helpful staff
small room in the attic ( low ceiling)
Good breakfast, excellent location for shopping and visiting historical sites, good WIFI.
Very narrow rooms, bad smell from bathroom. In comparison to sheraton atakoy istanbul the price difference is very little but the difference in luxury is very huge.
Location was better than I could have hoped for. Everything was so close. The staff was great and friendly.
Breakfast needs to be refilled for guests. It goes till 10:30 and for guests that arrive at 10 we had to ask for eggs as nothing was left.
A comfortable small hotel, quiet street tucked away from the frenzy of tourism but in walking distance to the major attractions. Excellent Turkish breakfast and a kind and thoughtful manager.
The hotel location and clean rooms
The stuff wasnt the most friendly especially the front desk.
Cleanness Near the Sultanahmet Square Breakfast
Small room but comfortable There are no window scene
locatiion is excellent, close to all historic sites, breakfast was good too.lots of choices.
The manager told us that only the minibar cost money, anything else is free, coffee ,chips and pistachio boxes. On the checkout the charged us 15 $ for 3 small nut boxes.
location , staff , clean
size of the room was smaller than what appears. there was also sound of street and cars in the room.
