Point Hotel Barbaros    

I'd like to thank to staff who made our check-in especially goktug. rooms are clean and comfortable. room service is great. they offer us fruit plate and a red wine. thanks a lot.

The thing that which made me upset, is the staff . we stayed one night and we are planing to stay one more night but not sure. booking.com price and their own website has a difference of 50euros . when we decided tostay i asked the price they told me that they only have executive suites with bosphorus view but that's not true. Because when i checked from the internet they have the rooms with the same standards which we were staying. This is made mr upset. in my opinion the reception team is the face of the hotels if they are not trustable this is also made me feel the same for the hotel. the thing that they must work on it to have the same rates everywhere. then i moved another hotel at the same price. but anyway thanks a lot to the staff who made our stay more memorable.

Traveling to Istanbul very often I stay at Point Barbaros very often as it is close to my office. I like the ambiance and location of the hotel, its modern design and excellent service. This time was not an exemption - the stay was quiet and nice as it has to be.

The furniture in the rooms becomes more and more outdated. Especially the sofa in my suite was really old. Also, the breakfast became poor, it was not like that a year ago.

Internet is free in the room.

They advertised been pet friendly and as we were in transit from Europe with our dog it was the main reason we booked.When we arrived they made it quite clear they do not normally accept guests with pets but would honor the booking this time. Shame as we would have stayed there again.I Guess Asian attitude towards pets is just not the same as Europe and the usa.

Design of the hotel, professional stuff quick check in and out. Nice location, good value for money.

Sea view room can barely see the sea from 7th floor, not worth to pay for more. The place of the tv in room is not in front of the bed,, I had neckache while trying to look my left side.We had a additional bed in the room, which we did not ask for.

The rooms are big clean and quit new.

The breakfast is awful! Nothing is eatable! And if it's not included to the price of the room it costs 60tl =25€ extra. We were also not happy with the dinner in the restaurant. It was not delicious at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Point Hotel Barbaros.

The Hotel location and also its view are great. Therefore i liked to stay in there.

The cleaning of the rooms. They take care of all details.

The hotel is boring and the area as well. The room service food menu is so poor and not provide any Turkish food and it is lacking a lot of varieties.

The hotel is amazing. It was clean, luxury, comfort, and non-crowded. Also, there are three restaurants inside the hotel two of them are luxury restaurants and the other is Piola Pizza. Moreover, the floor number B3 has a wonderful game station, which makes you play playstation, xbox, etc, for 15 Turkish Lira per person per hour.

The location is not good for hanging out in Istanbul because it is far of the most common places for travelers. Also, the nearest metro station takes 15 minutes of the hotel by walking. The hotel's area which is Barbaros for business.

hotel is designed till last small details. One of the best hotel and service i ever experienced in istanbul

hard to find this. If it would be possible i would move hotel to the bosphor. However now location also not bad

The T.v channels should have more from non Turkish channels because your guests are from different countries so you should have Arabic and English channels plus the sports channels The bathroom door is transparent glass and since the bathroom is a very private area .. the door should not be glass or at least not transparent.

Very nice roms, good breakfast, nice personnel.

It's a decent but a bit soulless business hotel. They try to soften their "corporate" functional image by adding nice and quirky touches - elegant sweets in the reception area, an elevator video, in-room CD with lullabies. You get pretty much everything you need (for example, an adapter for a laptop charger.) The bed was comfortable, and Wi-Fi smooth. With an executive suite, they offer to launder 3 pieces of clothing for free. A buffet breakfast is pretty good although a choice of fresh fruit is quite limited.

Service is good except for waiting staff. At breakfast you have to chase after a waiter to get coffee and and chase again if you want a refill. (In room there is only instant coffee, which I consider an abomination; even some budget hotels offer filtered in-room coffee these days.)

The whole things with the hotel were great experiences. Firstly, we arrived early in the morning after a long night flight, at 8 a.m . We were grateful when we were offered our very excellent and comfortable room within an hour at 9 a.m, although most of hotels do not do that..! The whole room was compeletely ok, including the bathroom, the bed and our 1 year old beloved son had a very nice cot ready at room, the design, the fridge and mini bar, every thing was perfect. During our stay, the staff were totaly cooperative and suuportive and helpful especialy with our little son. The restaurants in hotel especialy the Point rest. in the top floor are fantastic, but a little bit expensive.

Daha önceki konaklamalarıma göre temizlik daha kötüydü, odamdaki lavabo tıkalıydı..

Odalar oldukça geniş ve temiz. Mobilyalar son derece modern ve odadaki ücretsiz sıcak-soğuk ikramları çok beğendim. Büyükler için oyun salonu tek kelimeyle eşsiz, mutlaka gidilmesi gereken bir yer...

Temizliği, rahatlığı ve personelin tutumu gerçekten çok iyiydi. Odalar geniş ve aydınlık. Otel olarak hiçbir eksiği yok diyebilirim.

Kat personelinin kapıyı çalıp cevabı beklemeden odaya dalması çok şaşırtıcı idi. Odada iseniz mutlaka rahatsız etmeyin uyarısını devreye koyun. Yoksa her an uygunsuz bir ziyarete maruz kalabilirsiniz.

Mijn reis was zakelijk en ik ben alleen een nacht in dit relatief dure hotel gebleven (aankomsttijd in de nacht). Alles was prima, zoals men zou kunnen verwachten (je moet veel betalen!). De ligging is een beetje verre van het centrum, maar dichtbij een metrostation. Het kamer met Istanbul uitzicht was prachtig. Het ontbijt was lekker op de hoogste verdieping.
