I deally liked it. +A
likes: super friendly staff available at all times. giving great advice and even a gift at checkout.location within walking distance of topkapi palace garden cisterns, spice market, cute restaurants, and dont for get Hafiz Mustafa deserts and turkish delight is near by(we went 4 times)! it is also close to the tram so you can get to grand bazar quickly as well as hop over to the western side and hang out near the vibrant Galata Tower area. there is a fantastic bar on the street below the hotel with great hookahs and really friendly service. windows on our room were triple-paned so with the a/c on we could not hear any street noise. the hotel is in two connecting buildings, one seems newer than the other -we had the room with 1 queen bed and a lot of space with good closets and sunny bathroom. i have no idea if the hamam/spa below was good because the hours it was open (during the day only)we were always out seeing the sights! Turkish breakfast took a bit getting used to , but I ended up loving it.
that said, i wish the hamam was open later hours-- to unwind after a long day of walking. when we arrived in the evening the staff was very welcoming, but gave me a triple room on the first night with a smaller bathroom. when i told them this was not what i booked, they graciously changed it right away, and we stayed in the queen bedded room the rest of our stay. over all a friendly, comfortable, convenient spot to see Istanbul!
This was the third or fourth visit for me because I live in Turkey. As usual the hotel didn't disappoint. The location is great - in a side street off the main tram line and exactly halfway between two tram stops. There is a small market close by, and a good range of restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable and had a minibar, and the breakfast was good. The wifi was strong and uninterrupted. But as usual, what stood out for me was the staff - from the General Manager, to Hotel Manager, to reception staff - everyone was friendly and efficient and went out of their way to take care of their guests. During my visit there was a tourist who was ill and the things the staff were doing to make sure she was comfortable and had the assistance she needed was amazing - I was highly impressed, and will definitely be back again.
- location - price
- beds not so confortable. - a/c wouldn't work well.
Very good location, close to main street but still very quiet. Everything's near including tram and train stations.
personal service; good location for me
Wi-Fi is pretty weak, usually had to use it in the lobby
Personable staff, felt like a boutique hotel. Everyone was quite helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was nice and the rooms quite clean and well stocked with supplies (ie towels, shampoos, etc).
There was some street noise from restaurants nearby but windows were effective in blocking it out.
good location taxi from hotel to Ataturk airport cost 50 TL which is 18 € helpful staff
breakfast the same everyday
The location is wonderful. The staff were very helpful and the room was very clean and did not smell of stale tobacco ( which is invariably a given in most Turkish hotels ).
The wifi was very poor. Also the breakfast was not up to standard. The wait staff for breakfast seemed a little bit harried and when l asked for a cappucino, the young lady told me that it had finished for the day ( even though it was not quite 9am and breakfast did not finish until 10.30 am )
Location- walking distance to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and other touristic attractions; close to Galata bridge, railway station, tram, ferry; Breakfast-enough variety; Safe box
Wi-Fi rarely works; Staff- intrusive and poor language skills except for the concierge; TV did not work -not a problem for us but good to know; The shower cabin was too small- too narrow for an average size person; the room, overall, quite small and different from what you'd expect based on the pictures displayed; The view- towards an inner space- noisy in the morning as a new building was being renovated; Not attentive with the bathroom supply shortage; No soundproof doors- the place is already small, would help; The room is not ergonomical at all...
Nice and efficient staff, good breakfast, quiet, great location, close to everything, restaurants downstairs and all around, tram passing by, haman, sauna and good wifi. Perfect if you do not plan to spend too much time in the room.
bear in mind that rooms are small, hotel is quite old, desk too small to hold a computer, fresh orange juice would be great for breakfast.
Location and good stuff
Very small TV and bathroom need some maintenance
We've spent 6 great nights at the Q Inn Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, patient and helpful. They helped us out a lot with many tourist questions. The room was big enough, bequem, very clean. It had a well-running air conditioner and in a silent environment (despite being in the city center). The breakfast was rich with a wide range to choose from. If we return to Istanbul, we would definitely stay here again! They made us feel very special and like being at home! :)
very reasonable price kind staff airport shuttle bus (7Euro) very convenient and amazing location very nice and free breakfast
It is a little bit difficult to find it because it is inside a main street though it is very nice and convenient location.
Location Excellent and friendly staff.
The hotel location is very good in heart of every thing and very easy to find. I arrived very early around 8.00 AM and I asked if it is possible to check in early and the nice lady in reception told me that the room will be ready in 20 minutes and asked me to have breakfast until the room gets ready, that was really nice. The breakfast was good and includes many varieties. The room was wide enough and I really enjoyed staying there. Next morning very early the shuttle came as expected in time and had no problem at all.
Wifi signal was discrete during the night and I don't know why!
near sea and old city
WiFi is poor in room some times
The staff were phenomenal Alican, and the wonderful young lady who answered every question so knowledgeably ..... The location is walking distance to Spice Market, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkaki palace and much more ....
Some ice in the breakfast room would be good as the cold drinks were not cold..... And a toaster .... Apart from that all good
Location of hotel is excellent (Near Grand Bazar and Spice Bazar). Parking is near hotel just one street away. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Everything was good.
- kind staff - clean, modern hotel - pretty good breakfast - nice location
- a bunch of outdoor units of split air conditioners were around our window, causing some noise - staff - though being kind - were not able to meaningfully help with any of our questions
Not clean Sewage smell whenever. Using bath or shower
Very nice people working there and its location is perfect. Additionally is clean, good free wifi signal and fair price.
Location is very good near to Iasofeye , staff very helpful and friendly, value for monay you pay is good.
Breakfast is not very full The power of water in the shower is poor.
Location was brilliant, 10 minute walk to blue mosque and hagia sofia. Paid £200 for double room, 5 nights so considering this everything was brilliant. If your looking for simplicity this is great. If your looking for luxury look elsewhere.
Wifi was very weak, walls thin so if you have noisy neighbours you'll hear it. Hotel is on a side street with a pub and a bar/restaurant spoils the appearance of the hotel slightly considering it's location. Wake up call for airport was 20min late. Set an alarm!
Perfect location for a touristy trip around Istanbul. Attractions are incredibly near, however the street is still quite. The staff was very helpful, they even helped me book a bus with their credit card.
Wifi was very slow.
