Location, service , staff, clean
Heater in my room was busted but they changed my room in a sec
The only problem was that the days we were here a part of the hotel was under construction and there was a lot of noise during the day
Luckily, the hotel room was well positioned, and we could not hear the Islamic calls for prayer from any of the nearby mosques. (fyi- miranets use loudspeakers, several times per day/night..)
The "twin" bed was comfortable, but relatively short and narrow by EU standards (for 2 people). Maybe we should have looked for a "queen" size.
This is what I would call for a 'hotel' with decent staffs, certain atmosphere, good room and room facility (kettle, mini-bar, safety box, amenity, good tight-sealed window). Everything was clean and good.
My room didn't have a 'please-do-not-disturb' sign to put outside the room door, which I really needed as I was sick and stayed in my room all day, didn't want to be disturbed. I thought that Turkish hotels didn't have that kind of system, but it was just a mistake (as I was given that plate on my last day). There was a noise started right after 7 in the morning (ventilation system?) that woke me up... also it is NOT the hotel's fault, but there was a construction just outside the building or inside the hotel's building (i don't know for certain), so it was noisy during the day. But I guess not many guests stay in their rooms during a day, so this is a minor issue.
The location is perfect, between the bridge and Sultanahmet area The stuff is very friendly, professional and helpful The Hotel has a good sauna, which is really great after a long walk in a rainy cold day The bed is big and comfortable The room is quite big comparing to other hotels in Istambul
Breakfast lacks toster and yogurt:) The floor in the shower could be more clean
Nice hotel, based not on the main street that makes it very peaceful. Great location for turists ant business people. Girl on the recepcion speaks good English, and all of them are very kind. Rooms are clean, good furniture, large windows.
They forget to wake me up for the early morning flight! Fortunately, my phone alarm didn't failed :)
Friendly and welcoming to guests. Arranged early check-in without any additional payments :) + welcome coffee with cakes :). Highly recommend.
Location was great!
Thanks Q inn for fantastic stay,it was myHusbands birthday while we were there and staff surprised us with a beautiful cake and sang happy both day to him, awesome,we will be back next year. Angela. Nottingham.
The location was perfect. The room was very clean and the stuff very helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Some noise, but that was not much of a problem...
The staff are wonderful. The manager Cem Dalci is great with responding to emails about questions that you may have. The staff were very accommodating with late check out as well as getting me a larger room when we had an unexpected guest arrive. They even arranged an early breakfast for those of us that were running in the marathon. I will always stay at this hotel when I visit Istanbul
Few people speak English!! not only in the hotel, but in the entire country.
only breakfast optin available
wifi in room is very bad
I deally liked it. +A
likes: super friendly staff available at all times. giving great advice and even a gift at checkout.location within walking distance of topkapi palace garden cisterns, spice market, cute restaurants, and dont for get Hafiz Mustafa deserts and turkish delight is near by(we went 4 times)! it is also close to the tram so you can get to grand bazar quickly as well as hop over to the western side and hang out near the vibrant Galata Tower area. there is a fantastic bar on the street below the hotel with great hookahs and really friendly service. windows on our room were triple-paned so with the a/c on we could not hear any street noise. the hotel is in two connecting buildings, one seems newer than the other -we had the room with 1 queen bed and a lot of space with good closets and sunny bathroom. i have no idea if the hamam/spa below was good because the hours it was open (during the day only)we were always out seeing the sights! Turkish breakfast took a bit getting used to , but I ended up loving it.
that said, i wish the hamam was open later hours-- to unwind after a long day of walking. when we arrived in the evening the staff was very welcoming, but gave me a triple room on the first night with a smaller bathroom. when i told them this was not what i booked, they graciously changed it right away, and we stayed in the queen bedded room the rest of our stay. over all a friendly, comfortable, convenient spot to see Istanbul!
This was the third or fourth visit for me because I live in Turkey. As usual the hotel didn't disappoint. The location is great - in a side street off the main tram line and exactly halfway between two tram stops. There is a small market close by, and a good range of restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable and had a minibar, and the breakfast was good. The wifi was strong and uninterrupted. But as usual, what stood out for me was the staff - from the General Manager, to Hotel Manager, to reception staff - everyone was friendly and efficient and went out of their way to take care of their guests. During my visit there was a tourist who was ill and the things the staff were doing to make sure she was comfortable and had the assistance she needed was amazing - I was highly impressed, and will definitely be back again.
- location - price
- beds not so confortable. - a/c wouldn't work well.
Very good location, close to main street but still very quiet. Everything's near including tram and train stations.
personal service; good location for me
Wi-Fi is pretty weak, usually had to use it in the lobby
